go into windows sound settings the default audio levels are 52% cranked mine up to 85% and it sounds way better

Wow. The sound quality for just 50$ is super impressive, definitely worth getting if someone is interested.
I just bought one and my buddy said it was very solid and he was actually hearing me from pretty far away
@@dawsensmith360 yeah same here, iwas like 1.5meters away from the mic at one pount and my friend said that he could hear me quite well at that distance which surprised me
@@tegrqbruh4158 yea, my bathroom is in my room, which is I wanna say 2-3 meters away (I’m American, so the conversion isn’t exactly precise, but I’m trying dammit) and I can be taking a piss and yea sure I gotta yell a bit, but my buddy can still hear me, he even heard my dad talking on the couch outside with my door closed, for $50 this mic has been very solid so far, even gotten a few compliments for the mic quality too, Razer does good sometimes I guess.

I got the seiren mini this week as a gaming mic and so far I really like it. It was extremely inaudible out of the box but I went to Nahimic/mic and turned up the volume to 80% and now it's loud and clear. So much better than the Sennheiser G4me 1 headset mic I'd been using. It just sucks it doesn't have a mute button but oh well, it's cheap and good for the price.
Will it work for a tablet? Mine only has a USB-C port

@@vyte6531 no it won’t need any tinkering for pc but it will need it for a tablet like the other commenter said, for Xbox you should be able to use it since the Xbox has a USB port, I use it for pc through the usb as well

@@Ak__Beats it sounds exactly the same as the mic he was using before the mic test to me in terms of sound quality. The volume of the mic is definitely lower though so that’s a con. Oh yeah and there’s no mute button. I wouldn’t buy it, but I don’t think it’s horrible, it just needs a mute button and a better volume from a distance.
I think the HyperX solo cast is definitely a better choice.
I love those cherry silvers so much on a keyboard sounds super good and I am glad your safe

Great video! The Seiren X has been $69.99 on Amazon (US) since about mid-October, but is out of stock until Mid-November (can still order @ that price). I've had my eye on it, but have been interested in the mini since it released. Sounds like the X may be worth the extra $20?

The mini one I got had very sensitive/good sound. I was 2 feet+ away from it, and it was still picking me up very well. I had my mic volume at half btw. Idk if it was because I am on PS4 or what. Good review btw.

Can you please compare the Razer Seiren X with the HyperX SoloCast? The SoloCast finally released and I don't know which one to get between the SoloCast and the Seiren X.

Hey man thank you for this great review. Definitely helpful since I am planning to place the microphone behind my mechanical keyboard. Just a quick question, will the microphone catch my game sound? For example, when I am gaming while having discord with my friends, will my friends hear my game sound through this razer seiren mini? I am currently using Razer nommo as my primary speaker even for gaming just to give you some context how loud my game sound sometimes can be. Looking forward to you replying this. Could you do a review on the GW SADES SA926T gaming headset? Its relatively inexpensive and has a cool design. I've been rocking the steel series arctis 3 for a couple years, but recently on of my brothers slammed it on my desk and the left earcup makes a knocking sound now.

I currently have the newer NW-800 with its phantom power. Should I keep my current mic or switch to this. The main reason I’m thinking of switching is that I want to use this during my zoom meetings. The nw-800 has a mounted arm which is huge. I don’t want the mic to be in my camera. The second reason is cable management. The newer has like 4 cords that are 10ft long each. I have attempted to manage it with zip ties but it’s still visible. If you could respond before December 25 it would be great! Thanks and keep grinding techne!!!

Hi just a quick question I’ve been using a kraken x mic it has a static noise in my discord calls if I use the mic will this also have a static noise because that is the main reason I want to get a mic
if your mic volume is low go to control panel then go to sound settings choose your mic and turn the volume mine was very low so turn it up it really helps

I was able to find the Seiren Mini at half price at Wal-Mart I bought it because, I was sort of debating whether it was worth it at normal price, but at half, it is 100% worth the money.
No mute button, no headphone jack and it's cheaper. I understand why Razer made this mic. So some people want to buy Seiren X instead if they have more budget.
Is there a way I can mute the mic easily? Am I able to mute the mic using a key on my keyboard. If I can't I'll probably get the hyperx solocast
