I would say that the Sudotack is by far the best and most practical of those. I’ve been using the sudotack st-800 for a week. Totally worth it! If you’re planning to buy any of these mics, you should get the sudotack since it’s a complete package and the sound quality sounds like an expensive mic.

It helps me to compare the sounds betweeen the different mics and I might consider buying the Sudotack as it sounds amazing in my opinion. I have been using my cheap budget headphone mic and it sounds horrible. Thanks again!
I really appreciate this side by side, most reviews are 1-3 mic comparisons so you don't get the benefit of hearing a range of them using the same settings and mounting.
i love the editing in this video, you just jump through sentences cutting out half of the review for each and every microphone. Seriously, what's cheaper this video or the mic's you reviewed? lol. Also would be nice if you actually listed the mic's by name when you review them.
There's a clone of the Raleno Microphone callled the Drelan Microphone, they both are the same just different names, they both have really good quality and and both a priced around $29 - $30
Exactly what I was looking for, and I'm thrilled that the winning mic is also the one that's sold locally and easiest to get my hands on! Thanks so much for this! Also, as someone who knows nothing about audio, it was great to hear so many mics side by side and actually hear the differences so clearly. I super appreciate the bit at the end where you added the EQ. No idea what that is, mind you 😅but it's good to know that I can play around with the audio to get even more out of the mic later. THANK YOU!
Hey! Thanks for the kind words. When you get the mic, you can check out my 'make your mic sound pro' video, which will show you what EQ is and how to add it in obs studio :) Cheers!
Thank you SOOOO much!! I'm setting up to start recording audio books and the mic on my headset is no where near what I need. There are so many options on the market and other reviews are talking about singing and breath shields >.< Your video was a fantastic simple side by side, way easier to hear the difference AND you point out the important factors of distance and equipment! THANK YOU
Just a suggestion. Since a lot of us PC gamers use laptops, can you do a test where you have loud fans running in the background to see how they handle this? Would love to see this. Also your content is incredible. Subbed.
I’m using a blue snowball ice atm and, while it’s a top notch mic, the sudotack just seems to be crispier and clearer. Think I’m gonna buy it Edit: Bought it and tbh, it sounds better than snowball. Not to mention the amount of stuff the kit comes with. Would recommend.
Does it pick up loud noises? I use a open back headphone and mechanical keyboard for gaming and am kinda afraid that it will pick the noises up and annoy my friends.
In my opinion, the best microphones here are the Sudotack ST-800 and the Razer Sieren. Here are the timestamps so that you can better compare them: - ST-800: 5:56 - Raizer Sieren: 6:53
Difference is huge when you are musician recording instruments or songs. Most of them are good for non music recording or call in general so don't spent a bomb if you will use them just for podcast, office calls or just dialogue recording.
Out of all these, Sudotack is a clear winner. Most of the others sounded either dull or tinny. Sudotack sounds nice and crisp - for it's price is absolutely amazing. The polar pattern is nice and clarity is much better than any of the other ones in this bunch. And that's not just a subjective opinion. That's evidenced even visually when looking at frequency range and spectrum analyses of all these audio examples in your video.
HOLY CRAP the Razer mic is awesome! Bought it after watching this video, using the link, and got it the same day and compared to the other desktop mic i have, it is a night and day difference! No more using Audacity to remove the background noise! Thank you, sir! and great video!

This was a great review and video/editing! Thanks for putting so much time into it, I found it really useful and now I'm going to buy a Razer (using your link of course). It helps me to compare the sounds betweeen the different mics and I might consider buying the Sudotack as it sounds amazing in my opinion. I have been using my cheap budget headphone mic and it sounds horrible. Thanks again!
I really appreciate this side by side, most reviews are 1-3 mic comparisons so you don't get the benefit of hearing a range of them using the same settings and mounting.
the sudotack looks like an at2020 and may as well be one with good it sounds
i love the editing in this video, you just jump through sentences cutting out half of the review for each and every microphone. Seriously, what's cheaper this video or the mic's you reviewed? lol. Also would be nice if you actually listed the mic's by name when you review them.
The best mics there are the sudotack st-800, fifine k669b and the blue snowball. For me the rode procaster wasn't worth the extra 150 you are paying.
blue snowball just isn't that amazing anymore for the price IMO.
@@JoelPlay what is?
@@unnervingibet117 blue snowball?
@@JoelPlay i’m so sorry bruh 😭😭 i replied to the wrong comment and just realized it. sorry abt that!
@@unnervingibet117 its all good i dont mind
thank you so much, this video helps me to chose my budget mic wich is the sudotack, thanks a lot your video is more than perfect.
There's a clone of the Raleno Microphone callled the Drelan Microphone, they both are the same just different names, they both have really good quality and and both a priced around $29 - $30

7:23 Daaang, the Procaster sounds so smooth and natural. And at the same time, crisp.
The Sudotack is insane! I was going to get a blue yeti but wanted to see some cheaper options. Definitely getting a Sudotack
update??
@xleah the link for the mic doesn't bring you directly to the mic, but a page with different mics on it, so I'm just trying to find it
Exactly what I was looking for, and I'm thrilled that the winning mic is also the one that's sold locally and easiest to get my hands on!
@@TheVideoNerd Amazing, thanks! I'll do that!
The Seiren Mini sounds exactly like those much more expensive mics
7:54 Raleno sounds incredible. So warm and clear. Way better than all the other mics in this video. Sounds like radio voice.
This channel is too underrated for that astonishing quality. You deserve more!!!!
true
Agreed, crazy good quality
Thank you SOOOO much!! I'm setting up to start recording audio books and the mic on my headset is no where near what I need. There are so many options on the market and other reviews are talking about singing and breath shields >.< Your video was a fantastic simple side by side, way easier to hear the difference AND you point out the important factors of distance and equipment! THANK YOU
I love how they all get smaller the more expensive they are lol.
Just a suggestion. Since a lot of us PC gamers use laptops, can you do a test where you have loud fans running in the background to see how they handle this? Would love to see this. Also your content is incredible. Subbed.
I bought the sudotack thanks to this video!
Edit: i can say that it's actually REALLY good!
the most realistic review with irl scenarios rather than just testing the sound. W
I’m using a blue snowball ice atm and, while it’s a top notch mic, the sudotack just seems to be crispier and clearer. Think I’m gonna buy it
Edit: Bought it and tbh, it sounds better than snowball. Not to mention the amount of stuff the kit comes with. Would recommend.
Does it pick up loud noises? I use a open back headphone and mechanical keyboard for gaming and am kinda afraid that it will pick the noises up and annoy my friends.
@@joostfloot5279 It picks up noise like any other mic. If you don’t want background noise, use Krisp noise cancellation.
Sudotac was a HUGE surprise - it and the siren mini are pretty solid options on a budget
In my opinion, the best microphones here are the Sudotack ST-800 and the Razer Sieren. Here are the timestamps so that you can better compare them:
- ST-800: 5:56
- Raizer Sieren: 6:53
Amazing video. The continuous speech during the audio comparison is better than anything else on youtube
Definitely think the Sudotack stands out from the rest.
Difference is huge when you are musician recording instruments or songs. Most of them are good for non music recording or call in general so don't spent a bomb if you will use them just for podcast, office calls or just dialogue recording.
I was surprised at the tonor tc-77 I own one and I feel like mine sounds much better than the one used in this video
5:38 the iukus is obviously the best mic.
HOLY CRAP the Razer mic is awesome! Bought it after watching this video, using the link, and got it the same day and compared to the other desktop mic i have, it is a night and day difference! No more using Audacity to remove the background noise! Thank you, sir! and great video!
the first mic is the one I used for about two years, now I use blue yeti
Damn bro, this is the best Mic video I have seen, love how you switch them out so I can hear each one and background sounds. Amazing!
Save us lots of time and energy when you just tell us which ones are 'absolute trash'... Thanks a lot 😭🙏❤️
If you ask me, Sudotack was the clear winner. I need this microphone, as it would not only be a huge upgrade in mic quality, but in functionality as well. And all of that for $50? That's an easy steal, no questions asked...

I was needing a new mic and the moment i heard the sudotack, i immediately went and bought one. Thank you for making such an honest and fair comparison video
Great video. You do a great job of explaining the plus and minuses of each microphone. I agree with your assessment and think the Razer Seiren Mini is the best sound. Thank You for the time and effort you put into the video.
hi, can you please do a budget soundcard/ interfaces review? i think many people will find it helpful
Sudotack wins. Even on par with the Razer in my opinion. 👌
I am going to use it in my next "streaming on a budget" video, as part of the $250 streaming setup :)
I sat through the whole video even tho I had a great mic because I was checking this out for a friend and just really enjoyed the info!
Thanks! Subbed liked!
why does the video keep on getting cut, just for it to jump into another part of the vid. or is it just me?
me too
maybe a bug on youtube
Because of displaying Amazon screenshots
thx so much for making this video! i wanted to go out to a gamestop tomorrow to buy a mic since it was the closest store to my house.. and this video really helped me out. i was originally thinking of buying a blue snowball there until i came across this video and i'd say the razer sieren really changed my mind
I stream using my laptop mic and it's surprisingly better than the first 3 😅
Haha some of these were bad indeed man
Thanks for this laborious comparison. It might help many people to improve their audio and I appreciate such an effort.
This was a great review and video/editing! Thanks for putting so much time into it, I found it really useful and now I'm going to buy a Razer (using your link of course). Do you need a pop filter for the Razer? I noticed you didn't mention anything about one, so I'm assuming it won't make much difference on this type of mic?
Nice work on this channel. Very nice work.
