I've literally been stressing for DAYS over which webcam to purchase. THANK YOU for helping me SWIFTLY narrow it down. Went with the Razor Kiyo simple and will be upgrading to either the Pro or an Osbot once more funds are available!
Thanks. Bought the Kiyo for my first sortie into webcamming. Not a bad price, AU$89 with ring light. Video quality is excellent and I'll be online next week. Great advice!
as someone who loves to stream art, and then playing with my dog: this is so perfect I can't even..... I don't have to set up multiple cams, I can do it all with one. Such a win.
Really good video. Thanks for taking the time to put it up for me and everyone else. It's always nice to find videos and information that help us solve problems. I just subbed
Hi, great video. Very informative. I like the OBSBOT Tiny 2 but have a question about it: what if you were to use it without the fancy software and use it directly in something like Team or OBS or even with our own software using the ffmpeg library: how much of the fancy functionality like autotracking, hand gestures, etc... is still retained? In other words: are the cool features in the software or implemented in the camera hardware? Thanks again for your review
Great video, thank you! My opinion of the 1080p 30 fps vs 60 fps is, if you can, go for 60 fps, because you'll miss it if you ever need it for streaming needs that require that framerate (For the reason that you stated regarding streaming and your window must be the same speed). Liked/Subscribed. Keep up the outstanding work. Happy New Year!
I’d went for the Obsbot one but the wire looks very short in that video… not sure if it will reach from the top of my monitor to the PC. Which is a stupid design flaw
Firstly, thank you for all this info! I have an IPhone 13 and a Macbook Air. I'd like to start making reels for YT and would prefer to have two cameras so I may have A and B rolls to use for editing. Could you please point me in the right direction of which device has better recording between the two and if I should buy a webcam to use with one or the other device (whichever one is recommended). Also, how do I get A and B rolls of the same quality? I tried recording with the built-in cameras of my IPhone and Macbook, and when I edited using both rolls you can clearly see the difference in imaging as to which is the IPhone and which is the Mac. Once I decide on which device to use, do I buy two webcams to attach to it so I can get the dual rolls I need? Any and all info is greatly appreciated!
Dog gone it! Take my money! NOW! I was not even going to buy a webcam, well...there went that. Gonna buy right now. Excellent video dude, really. Wow, Thanks for posting.
Our food delivery courier today took a picture of the common door with his neighbors on his phone, arriving in the morning after 11:36 a.m. with a grocery order.
You always should look out for more professional used webcams as an alternative. Buissineses often lease their conference room setup instead buying. If the lease ends (5 to 6 years) the components go to secondary market. Esp. if special acessory is involved, you get PTZ cameras with great lenses insanly cheap. The camera for the logitech group system (same like PTZ pro/proII with different viewing angle) is 39€ on eBay without cable, psu and remote. You can get the cable for about 20€ at logitech support - or build it yourself.
What would you recommend to someone who does RUclips but won't be showing their face and just wants a webcam just for the future. I'm gonna buy the Logitech c920 for now but I wanna stay under $70
I think the Kiyo is the obvious answer here, even if you won't be showing your face, because it could be used as hand cam and the details won't be lost, also if you're thinking about vtubing it seems great for face tracking
ok for 6$, the webcam is amazing. The difference between having and not having a camera is huge if you need one. For my work meetings where we are required to open our cameras, it makes sense to buy the cheapest.
Man I have watched so many of these and now I can not make up my mind :( budget of $300 and the obsbot was definitely the coolest and with an extension cable I could maybe use for shooting moving video's?
