Nice video, I couldn't find any that showed how the audio sounded like in different positions because I wanted to hear what it sounded like when placed behind the keyboard vs on the side. Glad to have run into yours!

Got the siren mini after watching this video, I’ve had it for about 2-3 weeks and it is amazing!! Great quality and perfect for a smaller desk setup (2 monitors and 1 PC) Looks great on a mic arm

people always forget all these budget mics can be used on a cheap $10 boom arm to up the quality significantly by putting it closer to you. add a pop filter and it gets even better.

Awesome review. Incredibly well done. I'm kinda digging the ultra minimalist look it has. I'd probably put it on an arm or some padding since it is definitely picking up shocks from your arm on the table

I bought the Razer mic recently and used it for the first time with Shotcut. It was very easy to use although I had to adjust the gain to get a louder volume. It has a nice tone to it and a friend said it made me sound posh! Lol.

How exceptional the quality of the video is. Multiple scenarios of use, really like the side test. The mic seems insanely good for the price!
Did you feel like you needed to speak louder with a side use? Or was it comfortable? Because I might use it like this if I get one :)
Glad you liked the video! If you use it further away/to the side, you will either need to speak a bit louder or increase the mic gain. For the video I kept the gain the same and spoke at the same level for every test, but increased the volume in post production to match the other clips.

I just now got this to myself - I think its pretty damn good! I always thought Razer was a low- tier manufacturer until now!
how does it do when you use it with audio editing / noise canceling software? is it able to block out the keyboard presses and mouse clicks?
If you wish to avoid the noise of keyboard presses and mouse clicks, I would suggest investing in a microphone stand. This microphone is very good at its price point and I like it! Its audio quality is good especially for a budget microphone for people to start streaming and recording. The only thing it lacks, as the video says is that it does not have any manual controls and you will have to do it on OBS when streaming. If you would like to have a similar microphone with manual controls, check out the Hyperx SoloCast.

honestly you deserve more subs! keep up the content! :)
It comes down to what level of quality you want from your mic. The Blackshark V2 X will be fine for most people in most situations, but if you want to take your audio recordings to the next level, a dedicated mic like the Seiren will be better. Also, you can probably find a sponge filter online that would fit, but I wouldn't worry too much about it - it won't make much difference.

I currently have the newer NW-800 with its phantom power. Should I keep my current mic or switch to this. The main reason I’m thinking of switching is that I want to use this during my zoom meetings. The nw-800 has a mounted arm which is huge. I don’t want the mic to be in my camera. The second reason is cable management. The newer has like 4 cords that are 10ft long each. I have attempted to manage it with zip ties but it’s still visible. If you could respond before December 25 it would be great! Thanks and keep grinding
The Nw-800 is no where near as good as this. The mic is definitely a good investment if you have the money, you can still use the boom arm on this mic, so nothing lose in that point
