I'm really looking forward to seeing how the 6.1 stock manifolds will bolt up. I'd like to do that with my ram, but I do have the 08 engine, so I have the egr hole on cylinder #2 exhaust, and I have the rectangle exhaust port heads (Can't remember if it was Apache or Eagle), so I'm not sure if things will line up. Boy the "log" exhaust manifolds that came stock are crying for better flow!

@@The3chordwonder Unfortunately the SRT headers won't work for the ram trucks. They'll bolt up to the headers just fine, but they are too wide to fit the engine bay.

I want to do alot, but I bought my Challenger in January, and got the best service policy they offered. I have almost 5 years before I can really mess with it. Fortunately, the original owner installed a nice sounding exhaust and a hurst shifter on the 6 speed. Will be adding a sub and Amp for extra enjoyment soon, just haven't decided on what radio I want.

I’ve already done long tube headers catless mid pipes CAI 85mm throttle body one piece aluminum driveshaft and 100 octane tune. I have a new CompCams camshaft and valve springs and new hellcat lifters I’m going to install. My R/T put 375hp and 405tq on the dyno. That’s to bad seeing as the DA was over 6000’ that day.

30 yrs of doing this work, I've learned never to take anything to be "easy." Very few guys are actually able to teach this well. It's a gift that few appreciate. I've gotten my share of compliments for how I teach the work. The little things we learn working, that's the hard part to get across to new people. You've more than gotten that part down bro.

That resonates with me so much. Some that have high knowledge or skill don’t have the patience or ability to translate it in a coachable manner. My father could fix anything but couldn’t teach or explain it if his life depended on it. I would learn through trial and error on my own. Since then I vowed to myself that I would effectively teach my son anything I know how to do, with the intention of preparing him for the tough journey that is a man’s life

    I learned 2 things.
    1. You can get the cam out w/out pulling the motor.
    2. A 6.4 cam is a viable upgrade for a 5.7 Hemi.
This now on my to do list of upgrades on my R/T Charger.

I've heard the 6.4 manifold gives good gains, but I'm unsure of fitting it in the engine bay. You'd have to come up with an air intake from scratch for sure. Personally, I'm hoping for a 40-50hp gain between all the mods. Thanks for watching! 👍
