you need both real world acceleration numbers and also the power feel down low and midrange. If the 50HP comes at the expense of power under 4,000 RPM, where you spend most of your time driving, it may not be worth it. There are not a lot of easy NA gains to be had with this motor
I just had this done on my manual scatpack, 480 at the wheels with a stage 3 hrt comp cam and stainless power longtubes. Be aware that different dynos will give you different numbers. So mileage will vary, but i def feel the difference, car sounds nasty and has a great idle.
I notice these cars in south Florida in “can I be frank “ videos do not respond well to mods being beaten by stock mustangs on E 85. So do you think it’s n the customers best interest to be charged for performance work when you still can’t win races?
Nicely done! Wish there was a shop like yours closer to me
So all in all about 30 minutes to complete LOL
Dayum!!! 50whp and 80ft lbs....id say it was damn well worth it
that car in the background on the treadmill is working sonnnn😮💨
Y'all make it almost seem borderline worth it to just do it at home yourself. Labor price is about $1500 in my area.
That's a damn good price on labor
I’d like to see 0-60s and performance numbers. I need to know if the bump in power worth the cost.

Would MSD or RIPP ignition coils increase the HP on this package?
is this setup emissions legal in VA? looking to do mine. you guys are only about 2 hours away.
I'll probably do that when my Cam and lifters go but until then its not worth the cost
If cam and lifters go chances are there's metal shavings throughout the motor.. not great for main or rods bearings etc.
Don't get turned off by, your own labor cost. Hey, sometimes you just gotta let the pros, handle it.
What lifters do u use to get rid of the junk oem dod ones? And the junk vvt sprocket?
To bad your junk brain is to broken to realize it's not a lifter problem.
How much did all that cost?
Probably around 5k for labor. The cam and kit is the cheap part.
What camshaft pacakage ?
Was the converter changed if so then what size?
That’s what I’d like to know. With a stage 3???
All that for 50Hp Lmao bro.
Where did you get that rear diffuser from?
Ebay has them for $100 bucks
Only cam no tune?
Yes you gotta go get a tune ASAP.
Wish I could do the stage 3 package for my 08 srt8 charger, but y’all are far as heck 😔
Ship it ship it ship it let that 6.1 breathe
The main question is do you want to void your warranty for 50hp 🤔
Most people do including me. Stock is boring
Half the time the warranty is a joke. You are better off fixing it yourself.
It’s sounds good but this seems expensive compared to how much horsepower you gain. Doesn’t seem to be worth it
That 10% bump in HP is going to respond well in an N/A car such as the 392.
Welcome to the world of hemi's. Expensive to mod for not a lot of gain. They come pretty optimized from the factory.
I will say that cam, TS long tubes and e85 was the best money spent on my build
@@Jiggy426 I've heard e85 doesn't do much for our cars (392). I guess with cams it does?
@@BigJoe5.0 I made 30whp more with FIC injectors, DW400 drop in pump before I went cam.
what kind of camshaft?
What did u do with all the fluid in the cylinder
It’s coolant…. It’ll be replaced easily
