Owned a lot of luxury dive watches ,,, have to say when it comes to movement finish and pure aesthetics’s nothing beats the omega SMP 300..it’s the perfect dive watch
Tudor for me. While the Omega is obviously a fantastic watch, its styling is becoming dated a bit, where the Tudor is a modern tool watch. Both check different boxes for me.
I used to have both of them, but ended up selling the Pelagos because of the thickness, it was ok for me at first, but at the end of the day it ended up not working for me. In addition to that point, in terms of fit and finish Omega SMP300 is far better than the Pelagos, perhaps because of the titanium, I also have a BB58 and even that I think it’s way better finished than the Pelly. Perhaps a hybrid that could work for you if you don’t mind the thickness is the Planet Ocean, great lume and better finished + better movement than the Pelagos. Hope this helps. Cheers.
Hi Brad, 2 excellent watches but I feel that the Tudor is more fit for purpose. The Omega, gorgeous as it is, is just not as accomplished. They're both too big for me though... Cheers, Bob 🍻
I can get either for the exact same price (the omega on the rubber though, I don’t like the bracelet), it’s so hard to choose…I wish the pelagos was a bit thinner. It would help the decision for sure
I am a huge Tudor fanboy, Have a Speedmaster and a BB58 but this is not even close Seamaster wins this by a large margin for me personally. Tudor needs to shape the case on this watch for a better fit in my opinion, and lose 1 line of text on the bottom ( looks like they wrote a damn book on the dial of this watch). If they did this it may change my mind. Omegas movement is better, display case back, watch can be used for more occasions, history of the seamaster is better. I will say i bet the Tudors bracelet is better and the lume is unbeatable, Crazy water resistance too. Omega taper that bracelet for the love of god LOL!
Love the Omega but do not like the bracelet. Shines on a strap. Tudor really is a strong brand. I love the vintage vibes i get from them. I will have to add one to my collection. Thank you for the video
The Omega case shape better obscures the thickness. It can also pass for dressy, whereas the Tudor is 100% tool watch. My personal choice is a design I feel sits in the middle of these two: all-blue Planet Ocean. I own a very wearable 39.5mm version. I was able to try on mine side-by-side with a 39mm Tudor. For me, it was an easy choice.
Seamaster craftmanship and finish is above Pelagos, the Pelagos has a lot of sharp edges still a great tool watch. Seamaster a better overall watch if you are considering to only buy one watch.
Omega for me. I'd prefer both watches on straps though.
Love the Pelly. I have the black one. The matte finish is soooooooo great. Never been a fan of the skeleton hands on the Seamaster.
I have the Pelagos with black dial and the Tudor FXD so you can guess my choice🙈😀I do prefer the shiny bezel insert on the Omega.

That value needs to go. Ruins it for me.
Pelagos gets my vote but I prefer it in black.
110% Tudor Pelagos, no contest!
You got that right, Chris! 👍
The non-tapered bracelet and escape valve are terrible on the Omega
Omega for me due to overall wearability and suits more occasions.
I bought the Tudor and can’t beat the strap. It’s a great bracelet

Someone mentioned in another video that the Pelagos bezel looks like a gambling chip and that’s all I see now 😂
Haven't heard that yet, but certainly get it!
Hard to choose 😅
I had a SM 300, but sold it because I couldn't read it at night. There is virtually no lume on the hands. A Pelagos is in my future!
Omega all day long not even close
I'm with you there, Vox...

Planet Ocean vs. Pelagos comparison coming soon.

The Omega Seamaster wins hands down! The blue wave dial is awesome!

Tudor❤
I’ve had both. Tudor is too thick and doesn’t sit well on the wrist. The SMP sits better

Just by looking at them side by side...Pelagos far more legible...doubly so, underwater...if you want shiny shiny get the seamaster...
Same for me, Paul...
Otherwise Omega, but in this case, Tudor for sure...

Good comparison. This is better than sub vs smp. Rolex is one tier above omega. Tudor is more in line with Omega. Good job.
Omega is above Tudor, im every way...
Pelagos easy 🤷🏿♂️
Why are you comparing an Omega with a Tudor?
