5 year review of the Saddleback ID wallet in dark coffee brown color. This is a minimalist wallet designed for the front pocket. It carries a 100 year warranty.

Very misleading title. The review was only 5:00 min long.

Great Review! Their ID wallet is a must! It has developed a beautiful patina.

Looks like you will be using that warranty before the ten-year mark.

Saddleback ID wallet is amazing. I carried it for several years. I'm now carrying the "Small Package" wallet from FormFunctionForm.com and it's even smaller but carries about the same amount. Both are great wallets

Crazy. Ive had this wallet for about 7 years and mines holding up awesome. Use everday and i looks new except for burnishing in corners. Wonder why yours looks so rough.

I think I am at the 8 year mark now. I have not looked for a new wallet since.

Trying to decide between the small bifold wallet or this id wallet. Have you used the small bifold wallet or just id wallet?

West Coast Life788 I suggest sticking with the ID wallet unless you are ok with putting wallet in back pocket.

Hello. Can you tell me please why he use pigskin instead of cow skin? Pigskin is better than cow skin?
I want to buy Tobacco color, but I don't understand why he chose pigskin.......

Andrei Sas I have a few Saddleback wallets so I can give a somewhat educated answer. I’ve found the pigskin to be supple and easy to slide cards and cash in and out. Also pigskin is very thin so this allows for stronger lining than fabric. Just a warning, when you get a saddleback wallet it’s very stiff and will be a pain in the butt to use for about 2 months then it will be like any other wallet but stronger. Also another warning, leather only stretches one way, so if you put 3 cards in the outer pocket and then go down to 1, your card can possibly fall out. So be thoughtful on how much you put in and what you really need. You can always stuff in more but once it stretches that’s it. It’s kind of like a fitted Italian shoe. Best of luck.

You're making the same mistake a lot of people make with this wallet. Too many cards and cash, thats why it looks so beat up and stretched out. No way that thing will last another 5 years without some of the pockets tearing. I wouldn't recommend anyone use this wallet if they can't keep it at 4-5 cards and 3-4 bills. That's how I keep mine and at 6 years it still looks great, my ID pocket does't look like its about to rip and no bills stick out the top.

      I like it being worn🙂

@@starexclusive9 You like having a broken, unusable wallet? There's a difference between having a nice broken-in wallet with a nice patena and having one that is falling apart like in this video. Look at the top corners on the first pocket, they are ripping and on the brink of not being able to hold cards without them falling out. His ID slot is about to rip also.
