Great Review! I have the the same saddleback wallet and I was thinking of trying the Popov too. I look forward to your update and letting us know what you feel is the better wallet for everyday use. thanks
From experience I think the horween leather that popov uses is nicer than the leather saddleback uses. My saddleback wallet stitching is starting to come free and the leather is wavy and not looking great tbh.
I like the patina on the saddleback wallet. Did you ever use leather conditioners on it or any leather products on it or did the patina develop just from normal use?
I have used the leather conditioner that is sold on saddleback leather's website. But I use that more to clean and condition the leather. I doesn't really add a patina to the wallet. That just comes from use. Thanks of watching and stay tuned for future videos of me making my own leather goods!
