thanks as I am getting ready to do this to my 2021 Rebel , I did the 1.5" wheel spacer . what a difference !!! Hey on a safety note - you should always use jack stands for SAFETY
Always use 2x4's for extra jack height and never use jack stands
it's just one hydraulic cylinder failure away from a different sort of video
I am planning a 1.5" spacer-type lift for my Tacoma, its on my to-do list among other things, trucks coming along nicely, once you throw the new wheel and tires on it, thing will look like a beast!
Nice. That will look good! Gunna make a video doing it? Yeah I am pumped for when the those wheels show up! I am quite impatient atm. Hopefully soon!
I pick up my "Built to Serve Edition" tomorrow, thanks for the vid!
No problem!
Is your truck 4x4? I think I could tell that it is… just double checking. Thanks for video
Just got some MotoFab 2.5" pucks. But it's freezing outside. Maybe I'll wait 🥶Hopefully it won't take too long.
Beautiful color on yours btw....Reminds me of time in the USMC.
Can do it in a couple hours easy. Won't take long when it warms up for ya.
Love that color green on that truck
Damn that green would looks sick with bronze or copper rims
If you check out my other video of the truck I put on 22x12 Fuel Blitz Bronze wheels
This is my other channel, not sure if I mentioned it before, its mostly for my business but some videos will over-lap! (soupy socks)
Yeah I did! I am subscribed to both!🤟
Yea I got a question. Can you put mine on? 😆
Love the color of your truck man. I have a 2021 rebel with air suspension. Is there some way I can still have it lifted with the air suspension still functional?
I thought about doing this too and then putting on some nitto grapplers
Great looking truck!!
Make sure to check out the video with the new wheels👌
I put Falkens on a 2020 Ram. outstanding tire. switched from Duelers.....the added 10 pounds a tire kinda sucks. with Rhino raptor running boards....the truck does look sick...I like gaining ground more...think of going to Yokahoma go15 (41pounds)or Nokian Rotiva XL tire (39 pounds)
Yeah the lighter the tire the better. This setup is heavy! 116.7lbs. I really noticed the weight difference and fuel economy isn't very good anymore but oh well
@@BertaRiders try 196 pounds...those tires are 49 a piece
I weighed them and rim and tire they are 116.7lbs per corner
@@BertaRiders dont mean to be a dick but them Hitachi shocks are shit. Why didnt you do yellows and blues. a built to serve without yellow and blue...wtf.
Because I set the truck up the way I wanted. Not what someone else wanted.
Love the green and black color man. What size tires and wheels did you get? I have a 2021 1500 big horn 4x4 and was thinking of 33s but not sure if it would rub
Thanks! I am running 22x12s -44 offset running 33x12.5x22. And with little mods have no mods. Check out my other video. Explain it better in the video
Awesome before and after.
I love the green. Assume it's a wrap? Mind me asking what brand and color?
No wrap. It's factory paint. Only 1000 of them
I’ve been waiting for the wheel and tire video I got the same truck
I got them on. Just have to edit it. It's coming soon lol
I love that color I finally leveled my 2019 black appearance package bighorn off-road package I Went with Bilstein 6112 Also 35s on it.
Hey bud did you do front and back coil over
@@jpmorso3798 6112 Come with the new Coil spring.. in the rear I put icon one and a half inch load heavy duty springs
I love that color 🔥
Thanks! It's definitely nice!
Great video. Nice truck! Is the 2.5” Daystar leveling kit the same for both the 4th generation & 5th generation ram 1500’s?
Jack stands.... who needs em
I just need to get bigger ones. The ones I have are useless for a truck. Until than the jack will have to do
Nice man! Dope truck! Just installed my 2.5 leveling kit! Threw on some 22x12S on 33’s no rubbing at all! Dope truck
Sweet! I have 22x12s on order. Just waiting for them to come in. And same going with 33s. What setup are you running? On a 5th gen?
5th gen yes sir! I got a Motofab 2.5 leveling kit. Tis off-road 547 bm on some venom power xt 33/12.5r22. Great tire setup not crazy loud and very comfortable on the road! Don’t throw a whole lot of rocks was my biggest thing!
@@smmoli6560 sick setup! I am going with the Fuel Blitz Bronze with the Venom RTs. 🤞 hopefully shows up soon. Was told 3-4 weeks. And that was now 10 days ago.
@@BertaRiders dope setup! Look forward to seeing the video of them installed!!
Be a video of that for sure! Going to ceramic coat the wheels. Already did the truck and what a difference it makes.
Is it just me or the BTS package looks already levelled? I have a BTS and i tried to measure it but im only getting like 1.5" rake. (Or maybe because the floor is uneven)". So is it safe to say that the rear is actually 2.5" higher than front? Thank you in advance
Great Video! Any issues with the upper control arms? How’s the ride?
So far no issues with the upper control arms. Ride is good for the most part. I installed air bags in the rear so I feel those. Little stiffer in the rear
Just asking I was told from the dealer that anything over 2inch you had to charge out the upper control arm...ive got the same truck an year as you do with factory wheels..
I haven't changed mine yet and so far I see no reason to have to. I haven't had any issues yet.
Doing the same to mine. Did you get it aligned after the install? And was it way off?
Yeah I did and it was off bit. Nothing crazy but forsure get it aligned
Ok thanks
Any issues with this setup? I see it’s been some time now and I just bought a set of 2 inch pucks to put on my built to serve. Been getting a lot of guys saying not to do it but I figured I’d ask you. Thanks man! 🍻
I have had zero issues. Not sure why guys would say not too.
That’s reassuring to hear. A lot of guys say the upper control arms take a beating and can break on ya if you don’t get new ones. I’m going to go ahead and do it. There’s also a lot of guys that run them and have zero issues. Thanks for the quick reply! 🤘
@kurtgillott6843 I am still running stock A arms. If I ever have a problem I would upgrade but haven't had any issues as of yet.
Looks like your video is a year old,,,, would you do it again? I'm thinking about doing this to mine so just wondering if all is still good
Oh for sure would do it again if I had to. No issues since install. Still running the same setup.
What is the angle of your UCAs?
What kind of leveling kit was it..??
The one I got was a DayStar. But the link in my description is the exact same with a motofab stamp on it
Can’t tell is this a 2wd or 4 I need to do a 2022 ram 2wd
4x4
Do you have ORP springs? I’m at 40in in all around
I don't think so.... what's the best way to find out?
I don’t have the spring model number on me but you can go to 5th gen ram forum and search BTS thread they have all the info.. or contact your dealer there’s a TSB/recall they’ll switch them for free,
@@BertaRiders You have the the off road springs, I have a BTS, they all come with the ORP. Off road springs give you an extra 1 inch lift over a non ORP ram. There was a factory recall with 2700 trucks affected that were suppose to have the off road springs and just had standard springs . Mine was one of them and I sat 36” inches in the front before I put my Bilstein 5100’s on . Had my springs replaced by the recall today and I’m at 3” lift total maybe a bit higher but it will settle . With the off road springs and Bilstein 5100’s and I am also perfectly level . My tires look tiny now 😂, Truck looks great man, I love the BTS and I get a lot of compliments. Good luck with it
What setting do you have your 5100s set at
@@AdmirableoG 5 with ORP
did u have too get you trans calibrate
No I didn't.
I have a 2020 built to serve and looking to put my leveling kit on within the next couple of days. Did you put 2.5” spacers all around or just on the front? I have the Motofab 3” front 2” rear leveling kit. How do you feel about going 3 in the front? Yours looks nice as hell!
I am just 2 inch on the front. I wouldn't like going any bigger.
@@BertaRiders thanks for the response. The reason I’m thinking of going bigger is because I want to sit it on 34s. 3” might be too much so I’m thinking of 2.5 in front and 2 in the rear. Although once you put the tires on yours, it looks so sick
@@BertaRiders in video you said 2.5"
I meant to say 2inch. It's 100% a 2inch level
@@BertaRiders kool
Are those tires good for off-roading?
They are decent tires for offroading.
Dose your level bounce when you stop kinda fast?
No it doesn't bounce at all. Or at least not that I have ever noticed
What kind of running boards are those?
They are factory. Came with the truck when I bought it
What size tire you end up with?
33x12.5 with 22x12 with a -44 offset
@@BertaRiders I think I'm just gonna put 285/60/20 on stock wheels
. I followed the link but it says 2"
Yup that's correct thats all mine is.
@@BertaRiders so should I go with a 2 1/2 or 2"? If I want a level truck?
@@BertaRiders on your video you mentioned it's a 2 1/2
Oh I apologize for the confusion. Put a 2 inch and it sits level. So I recommend going with the 2 inch
Hmm, says 4WD only. So we can't put this on our 2WDs.
I don't see why you couldnt
Wtf, use some friggin jack stands if you're going to put some shitty 2x4 on your floor jack to hold your truck up! 😟
I didn't realize the safety police were watching my videos. Sorry sir I will make sure to use them from now on.
Dude... not trying to be that guy, but if you can afford a leveling kit, you can afford jack stands. Don't wanna make this a LiveLeak video.
Living on the edge bud.👌
