    I'm really wanting a pointed crown guard early 60's Submariner. Love the four liner certified chronometer 5512 however the 5513 two line was first introduced in 1963 which was the last year of the PCG's so only one year for the 5513.

      Absolutely a beautiful Early model No date Submariner. I have the 14060M no date. Always Nice to have a no date divers watch in the collection!

    Very cool video. I noticed that I could do this with my Orient Mako XL dive watch, a fantastic watch, been diving with it for years, and excellent timekeeping despite it being an old shake to wake movement. I stopped doing it as I was a bit worried that doing this would damage the watch in some way and it not being this particular movement maybe it would though not so sure about it. It's great to see how this actually works.

    Sadly that doesn't work on this watch, as the second hand just keeps going regardless. but then again, its a different watch. worth a shot. its non hackable, but the minutes hand has no effect on it in either direction it seems.

    Good explanation mate, I thought there was a problem with my 1962 omega cal.285 but now you have explained this and the drive wheel for the centre second hand it makes good sense now, at least I know the cannon pinion is as it should be and I did a service on it without any damage, it’s put my mind at rest now.

    This is a cal. 1560 correct?

    • @Timesradical
      @Timesradical  Год назад

      I believe so. I think the 1530 is the two liner and the 1560 is the chronometer. Then the 1570 took over. This was from a watch serviced months ago so, I may not remember correctly.

      @@Timesradical Yes I believe you are correct. Only the 1520 was non-COSC. Many are surprised when I tell them that Aegler SA based in Bienne/Biel provided the movements for Rolex back in the day as many are under the assumption that every Rolex built from the 40's on up are all in-house. It of course became less of an issue when Rolex acquired them in 2004.

      @@24hourgmtchannel64 YES! The 1520 was the non-COSC. That’s exactly what I was unsure of.

    Really enjoying your videos 👍👍. How can I contact you about a couple of my Rolex ? I was a bad boy and my GMT Master II from around 2000 has never been serviced and it appears to have given up in the mainspring and I also have a Daytona a couple of years newer, also never serviced but has been rarely worn. I would appreciate your advice. Keep it radical, times2x radical 😅
