Thank you so much for this video! I have a peace lily from my mother's funeral that was having a rough time. Growth was stunted and every leaf was turning a black/grey color. Two months ago I followed this tutorial and added some liquid Miracle-Gro indoor plant food to the water every couple of weeks. My peace lily is looking so much better! Lots of large, bright green, and happy leaves. Thank you for helping me keep a memory alive. ❤️🌱
I am trying this today. I have a few peace lillies also from mothers funeral. 1 is doing very well, 1 is starting to brown and yellow and the other one I found is very root rotted. Thank you for this video!
I would really enjoy this video more if the music was a bit more quiet than the voice because I often have to struggle to hear, since your voice is so soft. Love the idea too! I absolutely need to try this at home too ❤️
Got a peace lily from my grandpas funeral a year ago and it finally stated to die. I took a cluster and put it in water so fingers crossed I can save it. Glad I stumbled upon your vid for tips, thank you love.
@@chellewill8119 unfortunately it did not. But I never have luck with clippings, propagating, or plants in just water (besides my bamboo). Hopefully you are able to, goodluck love!
Researching how to do this on a new Peace Lily and found your video. Glad I did, very informative and easy to follow. It looks like it's been a while but I hope you keep up your videos.
Never knew you could plant a peace Lilly in just water! I will try this with my new baby Lilly . Thanks for sharing! New sub here. What do you do when the plant gets really big? I got a peace Lilly from my dads funeral 10 yrs ago. It’s a small plant for 10 yrs old and 3 months ago while my husband was having a surprise heart surgery I didn’t get to water my plant and by the time we got home it was very dead and I couldn’t save it. I was heart broken but chose to soak it for 3 days straight and after I cut all the dead away ( all of it) to my surprise it has come back and doing well now. Would it be good for me to take out of the dirt too? It is very small now for its starting over.
Hi Jeni, I'm planning to either change-over to bigger vase, or propagate them into more plants when it gets bigger. Your Peace Lilies are very special, each with its own stories - thank you for sharing it with me :) I had a peace lily baby that was struggling (about the size of a can of coke) that was accidentally broken off from the mother plant. I kept it in a glass of water and it's been doing fine. To answer your question, I think it's fine for you to take yours out of dirt. It'll love it in water!! Good luck!
Thanks for sharing! I am learning about semi hydroponics, and stumbled on your video. One of the first plants I was thinking of transitioning was my Peace Lily. Even though you used rocks, how to clean, and how to pot the plant was really great! I see you have only 3 subscribers. I'll subscribe to see if you do any more updates. I am definitely interested.

Sukinyamoko oh no, mine has been in there over a month now and it’s doing great, I’ve changed the water just yesterday for the first time, it’s even grown 2 new flowers. Maybe make sure the roots are super clean of all dirt and try again? Good luck
Thank you for sharing! I just love your accent and the sweetness of your voice. I love the plant and I have always loved the look of it in water. I am going to try finding a beautiful bowl/vase and plant one. Again thank you for teaching us about this beautiful plant.

Hi new subbie here. Recently, I'm into plants and I really love peace lilies.. First, I planted them in regular soil, and they wilted. So I put them in water and they're very happy now.. 💚

Hi Sukinyamoko, it's Seasol that I mentioned in the video. It's a conditioner that is seaweed based concentrate, which promote plant health. It's readily available in Australia. I'm not sure where you are located, but most garden centre should stock it. Without knowing more info, I can't really tell what's wrong with your peace lily :'( Make sure your water level isn't above the base of the plant (ie, the stem of your peace lily shouldn't be touching water), make sure it's not in direct sunlight. If your water is turning green, that means your vase is exposed to too much sunlight/heat. Hope this give you some direction.
Succulent Galleria Great! I’ll see if I can track any sellers stock Seasol. I’m based in Australia, Victoria. Not sure whether I should invest seasol 🤔 coz my plant is not doing so good! Only one stem still in good condition. What’s your best advise with current situation of my peace lily??
Thankyou for this video I tried this and looks great I can see new leaves but only my buds popping out but they are not blooming instead tht thy are turning black and died.can u help me what it might be facing
