- The process I used in this video is not my own creation. I found it in a repost on a facebook group, so I'm not taking credit for it. I don't think you need to use it for tough plants like peace lilies, but it worked well for my calathea.

I place my plants in water, change water once a week. No plant fertilizer. They are really growing. I learned a lot from your video.
Do you use plant cuttings or do you change your plants directly from soil to water?
@@turquoisechocolate3027 that's frustrating. I would say it's a lack of light problem. You could considering buying a grow lamp to help out. You can get globes that fit into normal lamps, just make sure the wattage is correct.
I just dome a couple pothos and a peace Lilly this wknd. They look great. I added dollar tree rocks to keep them in place. I love the look of the rocks especially in clear vases etc.
beautiful tutorial for indoor plant
Thanks so much for explaining how much water to add. Now I know why I have root rot.
Thanks a million Meg for this great informative video, I've learned a lot from it 🙂
This is the best video I've ever seen explaining in details how to grow plants in water/hydroponic-culture. 👍🙂
very good idea for hydro planting
I’m not having success with hydro. I killed ivies and peace lilies. I have a pothos that is doing so-so.
Maybe it’s that I wasn’t changing the water as often as you. I’ll try following your schedule next time. It seems the first weeks is a crucial time.
I also have a sunlight problem. The only places where I have room for plants get either too much or too little sun. I can’t find a place where they get just enough.
How often do you put them in the seaweed mix please?
Could you possibly give links in you description for instagram and also tell us what fungicide you use and if there is a particular seasol you use 😉
Hi there! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I have changed my instragram name to lazyplantgirl, so you will find me there. I use the standard version of seasol :)
how are they doing now?
Yhe roots of my philodendron are kind of peeling, they turn mushy like root rot but it leaves a thinner lighter color root. Are they water roots or is it just rotting?
Mushy roots is a sign of rotting.
Hi, can I replace the seasol with something else? Can't find it here
Hey, seasol is a seaweed soil conditioning solution. Maybe have a look at your local nursery or hardware store and ask for a similar product. They should be able to recommend one. Happy planting ☺️
People should say their full name of things not abbreviated . Hydro is there more to it?/
lol
I have a hard time to keep this plant happy in its pot too !!
