Honestly ur curls are a dream, I’ve always just wanted curls like urs but mine were always very frizzy and would say flat on top. I’ve been trying to understand my curls and use good products but it’s expensive and so time consuming. I hope that one day I have the curls like urs and love my hair. ❤️
I'm not sure if you've tried it but I think a good haircut would really help to get more volume at the top of your hair. My hair used to be flat at the top until I got a haircut (layers with curtain bangs) and I got more volume at the top of my hair. Also if u denman style, brushing the top of my hair upwards has REALLY helped give me volume at the top. Hope this helps!
also make sure your cleansing your hair really well with a cleansing shampoo and use a scalp massager for shampooing it’ll help with your roots

rule #1 never compare your curls to others!!! everyone’s are different find the routine fits for you invest into products you need braised on jair porosity density and your curl pattern if you have 2c/3a type hair i can help you especially if you have a history of heat damage/bleaching or color dye damage i can help

I did a kind of lazy styling this weekend, not on purpose. I washed, conditioned, gel on wet hair. Scrunched out the excess and let it air dry. I loved the way my hair looked for the next two days. Really was surprised. Probably won't happen again lol. All of us with curls know our hair has a mind of its own. :)
i tried this, and my curls look EXACTLY like yours! and i only used a curl cream and pure aloevera gel! the definition wasn't very good, but the volume was terrific for my low porosity hair. y'all, upside down styling works great for volume.

I look like a demon when I style my hair upside down. Too much hair on my head I literally have to wrestle it to calm the volume down a bit

I started a similar routine about 2 weeks ago and I feel sane again! It helps that I finally found products that work well for my thin fine and very dry curly hair. (2 a/b and some 3). The trick was definitely styling it while wet. Like Jayme Jo I really don't like the feeling of wet hair on my body. So after a quick towel dry of my body so I am not freezing, I add product raking and then combing thru, scrunching with hands upside down, sideways, right side up...all of the above 😄. Then while upside down, I place a crappy thin plastic shower cap from the back at the neckline allowing the curls to fall in. Then I finish drying grooming makeup, even putting on those tight non stretchy tops one has to pull over your head while in the shower cap.
When I take it off, my hair is still wet enough to fix any strays but honestly this was the best tactic for my wayward waves. My hair was in awful shape this winter exceedingly dry, lots of fall out, limp. Nothing was working. I am now using the Treluxe line which I love!!!!! and is available in the US online and in Walgreens. They are running a BOGO at Walgreens now until 26th. The only product of theirs that I am mediocre about is the Refresh curl serum. It is not a strong enough hold for me but for coarser or thicker hair I can imagine it works well. The rest of their stuff is divine...and I not a shill for them.😄
I do diffuse or air dry and sometimes clip some curls and use the spot shot on my hair dryer.

You could try an oil to lock your hair! Or even a very small amount of a serum after its dry

@@jcmwixns2941 not sure but u could use oil before doing a shower and like she mentioned use a serum after you dry ur hair and styling it. It will really help! u can use coconut oil or a variety.

I really like your face framing pieces but am always hesitant about getting them because I usually wear my hair with a side part
I do this almost every day!!! However if you want more volume or healthier hair you should get a haircut, I haven’t had a proper haircut in like 6 years

My hair is 3a & low porosity and on first day is curly, but from next day it get FLATTT🤦🏻♀️ i do air dry,CGM and deep conditioning twice a week,but do you know what is the reason?
It might not need the cgm and you may be overrrr hydrating it with the deep conditioning

Jayme. When you rinse your hair out. Do you squeeze out the excess water first with your hands then the scrunchie? Or you just put it in the scrunchie right after rinsing?

I'm having university on Tuesdays and Saturdays. So I wash my hair and style them on Mondays. It'll look pretty on Tuesday n Wednesday but by Saturday it's a mess. But I don't wanna wash on Friday as it's too soon. Anyone suggest something so that I can have a decent looking hair on Saturday without going through the whole wash routine
refresh with water, i like to use rose water with a few drops of rosemary oil on it spritz it until wet then re-style and dry

Hey, just wanted to ask where to find a real denman brush?? I wanted to buy one on amazon, but alot of people say that it's fake and all that. I don't want my first experience with a denman brush to be disappointing and not help me with the results I want to get.
Hii i have a question, is the "clumpinnes" feeling in your curls are normal?? I just started to take care of my curls and after i finish styling, drying, and scrunching the curls out, the curls later on just kinda clumps together if that made sense?? Tried to raking it out but it keeps on clumping😩

No matter what products I use I get really bad result but the time's I've ran outside during rain storms... my natural curls come out healthy and bouncy. It might be the water quality where I live will always sap my hair of it's natural curls it makes me sad.

my hair when i take it out of a bun is always straightened out and gross why is that like i see every curly haired girls hair is able to go in a bun and come out and me curly still but mine is straightened and wavy and looks damaged why is that
my only problem is that my hair comes out of the shower frizzy
