I just wanna say this. I’m so, SO happy I found your channel. Seeing you and your hair makes me determined to get my hair back to its natural state. I flat iron my hair all my life (I’m 15) and my hair is damaged beyond recognition. I still have curls, but my hair as a whole is damaged. I can’t even wash my hair or dry it without having frizzy and tangled roots, which is why I always straighten my hair. Thanks to you, you made me put down the flat iron. My hair is slowly getting better. I haven’t touched the flat iron in 2 months! My hair is still way to tangled when it dries, but I’m definitely seeing improvement. Thank you for all of your tips and videos! Just know, YOU are the one that made me determined to fix my damaged hair! ❤️🙏🏽
Deep conditioning masks and hair oils would likely help you a lot. I helped my daughter regain her curls by teaching her to wash infrequently, deep conditioning every time or close to it, using a good leave in conditioner in cream form, like Cantù for example and only using a wide tooth comb or wet brush to detangle her wet hair and then air dry. Best of luck to you!
I swear you hair is giving me HOPE for mine to be (one day) that beautiful after all the care and effort I put into the process of having healthier hair.☺️❤️
Girl YOU are the reason my brain switched that “oh I have that hair” feeling, you helped me feel so much more comfortable with being myself ❤️ I love youuuuu and I !NEEDED THIS thank you so much!!! I literally love you you have such a beautiful soul ❤️
It all starts with your routine after washing your hair. If your hair is thick and abundant, try to use a thick cream and some gel ( I recommend not your mothers gel) if your hair is thin (like mine) use some light cream or a leave’in conditioner. Wait till your hair is dry and fluff it out. Once you go to bed, put your hair in a pineapple hairstyle and loosen it to not damage your curl pattern and root. If your hair is dry the next day, mix and spray some leavin with water and scrunch. I hope this helps, this is my routine and my curls last 4 days without any sort of washing.
My name is too Basic if you have waves, regardless of how thick your hair is, I wouldn’t put heavy creams or gels in your hair because it will weigh your waves down. I know from personal experience, I have really thick hair with 2A/2B waves and if I put a lot of product in my hair my waves will disappear by the end of the day but with just some light gel or a leave in I’ll still have some waves the second day and only need a little protein leave in conditioner on top of damp hair and scrunch same thing for day 3 only add some dry shampoo to my roots first... I usually shower in the evening of day 3 or 4 because my hair can’t handle a full week of no washing without being greasy since it’s short and wavy so the oil goes down quicker
Im a male and I have a curly hair, and ive been growing and trimming my hair for 3 years now, I've been always wanting to have products like these, but im a filipino and Philippines doesn't care that much about curly hairs. And it's so so sad. I cant find any good products here. The struggle is real. I have 2bc3ab curl type
Theodora Sotou I live in Europe and idk about Greece but i recommend the garnier fructis food mask if they sell it there. At least here in Italy we got a lot of products that the youtubers I watch from the states and foreign states don’t review or are just not sold in their national market, so it took me a while to find good products with a decent price. Idk if they sell it there, but if they do I recommend NOAH and R*system curl. Good luck anyway! I hope you will find good products, also if u want some youtubers review drugstore curly hair products which might help since those are way more common products that even I found here in Italy
Hello curly guy, i am from the Philippines as well and i get my curly girl products from Shopee 😊 follow 'Skinandcurls' in shopee. They have plenty of famous products for curly hair. What i usually use is Shea moisture and Cantu. Hope this helps 😊
If you dont use a gel already, it will really really up your curl game! I used to wet refresh every day cause sleeping destroyed my curls but since using umberto giannini curl jelly my hair lasts 3 days before a refresh 😍

Thank you for showing what you do after a workout 😍😍😍 I've hardly seen any advice from curly girls about what they do when they workout and it has been a struggle for me to find what works on my hair journey lol
I have to wash my scalp every time I workout. If not working out I can go two to three days before my scalp is screaming at me. I have oily skin on face and scalp. So my length gets wet almost everyday. Sweat on scalp and not washing it off feels disgusting and gunk piles up. Why wash the sweat off the body but not the scalp ….. 🤔
@ZeroCheetah 22 Yes, you should brush it in the shower. If you’re not going to get in the shower wet it with a spray bottle or something. Never brush it dry though.
i know u said u wanted to cut ur hair once the quarantine is over .. but honestly, I'm llllooooooovvvving how long and healthy ur hair is now .. is so pretty and suits u so much
Where did you buy your headbands? I feel like it’s one of my life’s missions to find headbands like that. I have been using tights that I cut the legs off... it’s a situation.
@@yousra4157 that's true, I never find a products for curly hair here in Algeria 😕 I remember 2 years ago I just find a one product for curly hair and it was so expensive but I bought it and it didn't was good for my hair ! I mean when I try it I didn't find any result
I'm trying to grow my hair out, any tips? I got a big chop about 2 years ago from my waist to my ears since it was extremely matted. I really liked my long hair and my hair is currently around shoulder length, please RUclips do ur thing.
Oil treatments honestly the best thing get an oil routine and do it once a week before you wash your hair. Find oils that are adapted for your hair type for exemple i use ricin oil with menthol oil on my roots and coconut oil for the rest of my hair i massage my roots and i leave it for an hour then i rince it. From a girl that tried all chemical products possible use natural shampoo and stuff wish i knew before
Massage your scalp with essential oils for couple of min then leave it for 10-30min , it'd better if you would keep your scalp heated and that's by wearing a shower bonnet or even a plastic bag , then wash your hair :) Good luck with that !
Same my hair was until my waist I cut it until my ears it's been a year now it got really long in another year it will be until my waist maybe try not to use in heat on ur hair it really helps plus when u use shampoo massage ur scalp it makes ur hair grow :)
I'd loooooove to have curly hair like yours...Mine's super straight but I have a lot of hair (at least). I know curles are a lot of work but you guys can do so many cute looks with it!!
These videos have been very helpful to me but I clearly have a different curl pattern lol. I could never put my hair through a scrunchie and keep the curls - I can't even comprehend how she does this! My curls are extremely thin and fragile, but are we surprised? Jaymie's curls are goddess-tier
This is the video i needed to see .. during this lockdown in Melb .. ive been straightening my hair coz i didnt know what to do with my curls while been at home ... using all the product i needed .. but after watching this video i will be trying this... Thank you Jayme Jo!
i had really curly hair when i was little and in the 6th grade i straightened it every single day, i had such bad heat damage and rn i am trying to get back my curls 😭
Again your hair is so damn beautiful. I have 4c I kept my hair straight until I was 30, if would have nurtured my hair when I was young I would probaly be better off. Once the right hair stylist said girl you have curly hair, you need to rock it. I have ever since I do the high pony I also use a huge sleep cap.
Fluffing and scrunching my hair after putting leave in conditioner has made my hair look soooo good kinda like yours but more frizzy lol. I love your videos tho thanks for all the tips your hair is rlly pretty!!
I'm new and late here lol but so glad I found you.i now have dreads with curly ends aka goddes locs.we have the same hair type and I'll be cutting my dreads off soon and get back to my curls.thanks to you I'm excited to get my curls back and will be using your methods thanx beautiful fyi u and your hair looks 😍 💜
I used function of beauty and I looooooved how my curls came out every time. After 6 months or so my hair was completely horrible and had breakage everywhere . I don’t know for sure if it was function of beauty, but it was the only thing I had been using that was new. 🤷🏼♀️
I have a similar curl pattern but my hair always seems to curl from the ear below and I was wondering is it possibly naturally like this or is it really possible to train your hair to curl from the root through finger coiling? I have kept my hair natural with no heat yet seem to have the problem of my hair looking wet at the root although it has dried and never able to get it to curl like it does at the bottom. If anyone has experienced this I would be very grateful for tips thanks .
If I got even half the volume that she has at the end of the video (when she says she deep conditioned so that's why she doesn't have as much volume) I would be happy! You are beautiful! I always learn something new in your vids! love you
Does anyone know what brand of scrunchies she uses? I'm always trying to find loose scrunchies and all I can find in stores are ones with tight bands so any suggestions would be really nice :) Thank you!!
Hi please explain if my hair doesn’t stay nice for the next day should i start the same process , wet it , cream, mousse ?? And also when i do exercises i wash it right away because it could smell bad after get sweat what’s your advice and thank you so much i love my curly hair now because of your videos 🙏❤️ -Tunisian -
@jaymejo When i SLEEP (in a satin bonnet and satin pillowcase) it's a total MESS in the Morning !!! I dont know what to do 🤷🏽♀️ , and i dont want to redo the styling every morning its time and products consuming+ build up) and wet my hair every morning (cause its bad for my hair), i dont know what to do !
Love the hair routine this video was very useful for me because I wash it once a week as well and have been struggling to find a good routine for my hair (also I’m kinda lazy) lol. Do you not detangle everyday ?
My hair is about as long as yours, but it doesn’t have as much shrinkage, so when I exercise and put my hair in a high ponytail, the curls still touch my neck.
I have a quick question, I’ve been watching your videos and they have helped me learn more about how to help me curls. My question is do you wash your hair every 5-6 days? Because I usually wash it every 3-4. Thank you for making these videos :))
It really just depends on how your hair reacts to it and how you want your hair to look. On Day 5-6, you could see her hair was a little more frizzy and dry looking in a couple areas. Like what Jayme said, you could do a thorough refresh on day 4 for more curly and defined hair, but she chose not to. If your hair can handle 3-4 days while still maintaining volume and moisture, you should keep doing it. Not everyone's hair is the same.
I do a half bun with the curls coming down my forehead. And I have to twist the scrunchie twice. Otherwise m my hair is too long for a high ponytail for sleeping. :(
Love your videos!! They really help me get to know my hair! I’m having issues with my hair being dry just on my crown? The scalp isn’t dry, but rather the hair. I always see you taking such good care of the hair on your crown, but how would someone just starting their curly girl journey resolve this issue? I also have low porosity hair 😬 What would you suggest? Thank you!!

I ordered this hair growth serum the website is called scentedjams.com and if u wanna see the results the person's tiktok on the website

I'd loooooove to have curly hair like yours...Mine's super straight but I have a lot of hair (at least). I know curles are a lot of work but you guys can do so many cute looks with it!!
Your hair always looks so pretty!
where do you get your headbands from? I am an avid runner and im still learning to have both of my worlds find a balance lol
You're tips really help me 😂
These videos have been very helpful to me but I clearly have a different curl pattern lol.
Those curls are so refreshing to my eyes ❤
i had really curly hair when i was little and in the 6th grade i straightened it every single day, i had such bad heat damage and rn i am trying to get back my curls 😭
Ur my fave RUclipsr ur energy is awesome on like day 4 or 5 after ur cardio like queennnnnn I wanna b uuuuu
Fluffing and scrunching my hair after putting leave in conditioner has made my hair look soooo good kinda like yours but more frizzy lol. I love your videos tho thanks for all the tips your hair is rlly pretty!!

Your day 6 curls is my late day 1 / day 2 curls. ARGH! Love the video though. Hello from Newcastle Aus!

Your videos have helped me embrace my natural hair 😊
You are hair goals Jayme❤️
I used function of beauty and I looooooved how my curls came out every time. After 6 months or so my hair was completely horrible and had breakage everywhere . I don’t know for sure if it was function of beauty, but it was the only thing I had been using that was new. 🤷🏼♀️
Same 😫 as soon as I stopped using it my hair began to improve, but still a long way from what it used to be 🤦♀️
My hair pattern is soooo similar to yours!!! I find your videos extremely helpful thank you so much! Your curls are goals 🥰
You are so natural beaty, and yor videos about hear are interesting, defenitivly not boring😀
I love your curls and your videos really help with my hair and how to take good care of it and I just ordered a denman brush i in love u 😍

Thank you for the details on what to do each day. Never thought of de tangled spray!!! I will use mine to refresh 😃 #I learned a lot
Between washes I co wash which is just skipping your shampoo and just using your conditioner ❤️
Your curls are so beautiful!
Definitely finger coil and make sure you flip your head over and scrunch at the roots too x
@@jaymejo Thank you so much xx
her hair looks so good in a pony, mine looks like I strapped a wet rat to my head lmao
OMFG SAME-😭😭
yay as soon as u mentioned the shampoo and conditioner I went to buy it I saved some coinnn
So I diffused our my hair and yes I have pretty curls but I be hating on her hair . It’s so pretty . GIRL and you gorgeous .
Your makeup looks sooooo flawless! Please teach me 😭❤️
Shes the sweetest literally ❤ can't wait to try out some curly hair tips. 👌🙌
I don't care about the hair, I want your skinnnn so clear and beautiful!
I think my hair is pretty similar to yours...I think I’m gonna try this!
If I got even half the volume that she has at the end of the video (when she says she deep conditioned so that's why she doesn't have as much volume) I would be happy! You are beautiful! I always learn something new in your vids! love you
love your curls soo beautiful !!
I love your curls 😭😭❤️
My hair is 2c-3a but the back of my hair is 2a I wish it could all be the same type 😭😭
Sami Johnson yes, please! ❤️
I tried function of beauty on my 3a/3b curls and I started losing my curl pattern, I definitely don't recommend...
Try doing different answer in your quiz. The first I used it the same thing happened then I did different quiz answers and my hair has been better
@@nveah7468 nahhhh all that money for a product that bearly works? For what????
I’ve been using it for 6 months now and it’s actually made hair healthier and shiner, I think it just depends on the person tbh
there are loads of complaints under the insta comments
don’t let this comment scare you, i’ve been using it and i highly recommend. obviously depends on the person but definitely try for yourself and see
Does anyone know what brand of scrunchies she uses? I'm always trying to find loose scrunchies and all I can find in stores are ones with tight bands so any suggestions would be really nice :) Thank you!!
Can you discuss and show your haircut. It looks layered. More volume with layers?
Hi please explain if my hair doesn’t stay nice for the next day should i start the same process , wet it , cream, mousse ?? And also when i do exercises i wash it right away because it could smell bad after get sweat what’s your advice and thank you so much i love my curly hair now because of your videos 🙏❤️ -Tunisian -
Can u pls pls plssss do an updated washday routine?💕💕
@jaymejo When i SLEEP (in a satin bonnet and satin pillowcase) it's a total MESS in the Morning !!! I dont know what to do 🤷🏽♀️ , and i dont want to redo the styling every morning its time and products consuming+ build up) and wet my hair every morning (cause its bad for my hair), i dont know what to do !
Love the hair routine this video was very useful for me because I wash it once a week as well and have been struggling to find a good routine for my hair (also I’m kinda lazy) lol. Do you not detangle everyday ?
oh she's so pretty!
Another amazing video from my curly queen!!!
I have tried soooo many products and I still can’t keep my hair looking good past 3 days. I’m so stumped
Me too! My hair only last one day. Even if I try to refresh it, it doesn't look the same at all. My hair just turns wavy after wash day
My hair is about as long as yours, but it doesn’t have as much shrinkage, so when I exercise and put my hair in a high ponytail, the curls still touch my neck.
Day One: perfect
Day Two: also perfect
Day three: PERFECT……
My curls: matted and defying gravity😅🔫
blesssss u for the extra motivation and EVERYTHING xoxo
Can u write what products u used at the first day (the washday products)?
The curls looked soooo goodddd💕
Her 5 day curls look better than my day 1 freshly styled curls
I didn’t ever realize how young you were 😩 I always thought you were like 25
I have a quick question, I’ve been watching your videos and they have helped me learn more about how to help me curls.
I can’t pass the day one as soon as I sleep my hair turn in to a mess.
your hair is beautiful and amazing! your curls are so much better then mine! love you hun🤍
beautiful! which haircut do you go for? V shape? Layers? Do you have a video about it? Thank you very much!.
I think she goes for layers
Love your videos!! They really help me get to know my hair! I’m having issues with my hair being dry just on my crown? The scalp isn’t dry, but rather the hair. I always see you taking such good care of the hair on your crown, but how would someone just starting their curly girl journey resolve this issue? I also have low porosity hair 😬 What would you suggest? Thank you!!
You are sooo beautiful inside and out! So glad I’ve find your channel:) where’s your green long sleeved top from?🥺
Where’s the headband from? Really want one similar
