I started doing two things out of all the things here and my hair has improved so much! I usually dry my hair with my reckon blow dryer, after a day of sleeping on it it would look horrible and I’d want to wash my hair again. I decided to then brush my hair every night the way you showed, gently, and tie my hair, I don’t have the silk thing to go around my head but I wanted to start something that could improve my life with my hair, and this change is such a huge change for me, in the mornings my hair looks gorgeous with plump and big beautiful and bouncy curls. I only did one of the several things said here but it’s already such a life changer! My roots feel less oily and the ends of my hair looks lovely even after 2 days from washing, this was never a thing for me! I enjoy looking at my hair now and even the top of my head that was constantly frizzy looks beautiful and lush. Thank you so much for helping woman that didn’t have a strong female figure in their lives growing up. I never heard of any of those things because of being raised by my dad, currently I’m learning about female friendships and finally building lasting female friendships after dreaming about that for years. Truly leaving my masculine era and embracing femininity. You and other RUclipsrs have been helping me a lot. Thank you again ❤

The hair cutting and coloring at home yourself is SO worth it. I spent a couple years teaching myself how to trim and highlight my own hair. It takes a long time. Not gonna lie. I spend 6 hours in the bathroom doing my hair. But that’s how long I would spend at the salon and there was never a guarantee I would like it, and I’m out 500-600 bucks each time. I trim my hair similar to how you do! I also do highlight one side of my head at a time. Worth it for it to come out perfect.

As someone with extremely textured hair, the semi blowdry sounds like it might help me. My hair will never go pin straight so im going to try this. Thank you 🤍

Or she has been wearing sunscreen. Skin is naturally at its lightest until you tan. I doubt she’s bleaching, I would bet my arms and legs she’s just not been tanning in a while. Skin renews very quickly!
That deep inhale before applying hair dye is real. Been there so many times. I'm a light golden blonde, no highlights, looks natural, like a 3 year old girl. Also, that bend over abs is real. I've been consistently working out and notice them everytime.
I have to stand for a 10 hr shift at work, and holding my abs that way really takes the pressure off my lower back towards the end of the night, so I don't end up with sciatica pain
A good method for search and destroy I've used in the past is taking the small sections of hair and twisting them, like with your method the bad ends stick out, but it's easier to get to them than if you were skimming through your loose hair.

hi alexandra! just wanted to express how grateful i am for your channel and how you've been present in many phases of my life. i first found you in 2018, you inspired me to assume my natural curly hair since i saw how beautiful your hair is, your vids about how to take care of your hair made 2019 my best hair phase. not only that but you were literally a big older sister when i most needed during my early teens. your vids about self care, clothing, stylin helped so much when i was helpless about the subject, you helped me developing my own identity in a healthy way when i was so not in touch with my own femininity and for that i an so thankful to you. now i'm much more health and with a good self esteem because of every lil advice you gave. im struggling with hair loss and no ones know the causw and u just uploaded a video about hair care. i am very sorry about the media you lost, but i never stopped checking this channel cause you always made great content and i hope people understand the vids you lost and how hard is to recover it instead of saying negative things on comments. thanks for uploading all your knowledge, alexandra ♥️
Thank you so much for all the tips. I just wanted to mention you might consider using a Demi permanent on the ends for f your hair to just deposit color or make the developer lower so the color thinks it is time to deposit. It will help save your ends some processing. You have helped me so much I just wanted to extend that information to you!
This is such excellent content. As a curly girl myself im interested in trying the styling on my brushed out textured hair. But i never saw hairstylists do/ say it was ok. I will definitely try these pincurls. Also great idea for dying hair by doing half the head. Yeah its a little longer but honestly its better to do it right than have to do it over. Just great content i always appreciate
I looooveeeed your “blow dry” method. I also have curly hair and have decided to go back to straight hair. I’ve struggled because I get mad that my hair doesn’t look pin straight when I do it myself, and also that since it doesn’t have much volume while straight it looks like I have little density of hair. The first thing I wonder when I saw your volume I was like “so beautiful and voluminous, does she have extensions”. So thanks, I’ll really try this ♥️
black hair looks awesome on you!! 😍 I've been struggling with a bit of grey hairs cuz of genetics even though im young :( but this was so helpful i ❤️ you alex
Excellent advice!!! Products I use at age 41 to have very think, long hair down to my butt with no split ends ( literally) collagen peptides daily supplement, a high biotin and hyaluronic acid oral supplement taken daily, a strong daily multi vitamin, fish oil supplements and plenty of other healthy fats and high protein. L-lysin supplement daily, and now I've moved onto an oral daily rx to prevent hair loss before it can start since the majority of women start to lose their hair at that age. I use a scalp detox once a week, a Satan pillow case, brush my hair from the bottom up, and dry it the same as you. I don't over wring out my hair when wet bc it's weakest when wet and I wash every other day. I only use a wet brush for less breakage and the holy grail products such as: it's a 10 plus keratin leave in spray, bumble and bumble leave in restoring hair oil serum and a Amazon hair serum as my hair cocktail. My hair is soooo healthy that I got bariatric surgery and was supposed to lose 1/3 of my hair and didn't. I only need to cut it once a year, and that's bc I don't want to sit on it. It's so silky that it can't hold a curl to save its life. These are the products and steps I took to turn my hair from crap to WOW!
@@rawrsophiexyw, if you decide to try those oral supplements like the collagen peptides, oral hyaluronic acid pills with biotin and a good fish oil supplement or just any increase of a little bit of healthy fat consumption, please let me know how it works for you. Ik know all my hair stylists ask me what i use aside from my daily products applications. Also, let me know if you do try those ad well. I'd love to hear. P.s. the oral products are also anti aging to the 10th power. You're going to get great skin and maintain your youth 10 fold instead of just application of product on skin only.
YES. We have similar hair types and I’ve noticed more and more lately that I have very little need for dry shampoo compared to before. As long as I have a sturdy clarifying shampoo that I use weekly, the dry shampoo makes so little difference. I went and bought a boar bristle brush after watching this video-very excited to pick it up! I’d heard of boar bristle brushes before, but was never inclined to get one until now. I love watching you because I feel like your mind works a lot in the same way as mine (except perhaps without the crippling anxiety). You entertain and address a lot of the impulsive thoughts and curiosities I have about my hair, regimen, and LIFE itself. And perhaps many of us in the audience, not just me, relate. We quietly ponder about them. You actually say it out loud. Your videos are not only incredibly informative, but also validating.
Wow, we have the same hair texture and I never thought about going to pin curls from its textured form. I always straighten it before but I’m definitely giving it a try. Thank you for this video! ❤️
I recently watched your video about women's hygiene and I love that you have included the topic of neurodiverse people and depression. I have adhd myself and I'm really, really struggling with all those micro habits. I often don't know what is a realistic routine (yes it is different from person to person and their needs) and I often feel like the routines which are often represented in social media are more vor overachiever who has more time than hours in a day. I do want to treat myself also good and want to take *enough* care for myself but their are sooo many options and things I could do! I would really love to see a video where you show us all your habits and routines you do over the day. Something like a morning or evening routine, for example. Also routine who acure monthly or you do once in a year. I don't want to ask for that much, but also a video how you keep your home clean and welcoming would be nice 😅 My parents didn't cared so much about me and I feel like I have to parent and teach myself a hole new world of grown ups in a age of 24. Also as an only child I can say: you are a truly big sister for me ❤

the way i just dyed my hair black from the orange hair too is so accurate. And i also used the same dye kit. Thanks for the tip with the blue black dye for my hair i did notice some parts of my hair werent completely covered.
Wrapping the hair around the scrunchie overnight! How did that never occur to me? It's literally been used in heatless wave tutorials before!!! Genius! Also, I broke down and got a bonnet myself, here's hoping it helps my thinning hair!
It's actually well-known, but not talked about, within the hairstyling community that a lot of (specifically women) hairstylists will cut off more hair from people who have particularly long or beautiful hair. It's actually often from jealousy, not because hair needs a certain number of inches taken off.
There's actually studies on it! One is called "off with her hair" on science direct. Women who score high in sexual competitiveness are the ones who cut off women clients hair. The more attractive you are perceived to be as a client compared to them, the more hair they cut off. Its not a conscious thing, and they often do justify it in their heads though. If you are perceived as less attractive than them, they don't cut off more. If you're about the same as them, they cut off a decent amount. If you're hotter than them, enjoy your pixie cut 😭
When I was 7 I asked for a trim and the woman chopped off all my hair and I looked like Dora the explorer and I couldn’t stop crying, I don’t let anyone touch my hair anymore lol
I swear this happens to me all the time! I got so traumatized by them always insisting on chopping more off than I was comfortable, I'd talk them into only doing an inch at most, and when I'd get turned around in my chair, it would be close to double the agreed upon amount and I'd never want to go back! Every single time my hair would finally get to a length I liked, everyone around me would pressure me into getting a trim that would leave me waiting a year for my hair to grow back. I can't believe they would do this on purpose. 😢
omg....you've inspired me to grow my hair long. I've been getting it layered drastically because it thick with low definition waves like yourself and OMG!!!!! no more cutting it short! XD
The was a very well made video with nice tips, beautiful cinematography, and such a calming visual environment. I haven't watched any of your vids in a long time! Glad I made it back around.
ok ily! great tips- from someone who always watchign hair growth videos and pretty long hair myself because of dedication- also love the random stomache vacuum was gold hehe
I'm almost at the end of the video, and I must commend you to another great upload! I've been struggling with my hair recently, and so the timing was perfect! I've always admired how you style your hair and recently got into satin bonnets so just AHHHH I'm so excited to try the stuff in the video at home! I'm adopted, and my mom (with pale, curly, thin afro like hair) never knew how to style my hair so the products she would use would end up damaging my hair (long, very thick dark hair). So I'm so so so excited to learn to finally take care of and love my hair! Amazing video as always!
considering your natural hair is curly, you should nourish your hair, so that when its in its natural state is looks healthy. I feel that right now, when your hair is not straightened , it kinda looks fried. I'm saying this because I have experienced the same

Honestly I just put olive oil on my hair & braid it to go to sleep most of the time. The boar hair brush is a good tip, it promotes hair growth too because it stimulates blood flow to the scalp. I used to do that but stopped because my hair is almost to my knees at this point lol

not only that but you were literally a big older sister when i most needed during my early teens. your vids about self care, clothing, stylin helped so much when i was helpless about the subject, you helped me developing my own identity in a healthy way when i was so not in touch with my own femininity and for that i an so thankful to you.
now i'm much more health and with a good self esteem because of every lil advice you gave. im struggling with hair loss and no ones know the causw and u just uploaded a video about hair care.
i am very sorry about the media you lost, but i never stopped checking this channel cause you always made great content and i hope people understand the vids you lost and how hard is to recover it instead of saying negative things on comments. thanks for uploading all your knowledge, alexandra ♥️
Thank you so much for all the tips. I just wanted to mention you might consider using a Demi permanent on the ends for f your hair to just deposit color or make the developer lower so the color thinks it is time to deposit. It will help save your ends some processing. You have helped me so much I just wanted to extend that information to you!
Thank you so much!! this is helpful ☺️🥰🩷✨
I just love your hair so much. It also looks amazing when you do the the iron style without the blow dry first! 🔥
Hi gorgeous! would you consider making a more detailed tutorial on that hairstyle with the hair curler? I love it🖤🖤🖤
Alexandras pyjama game is fire! 😍
Love the video, you are stunning! Girl a video on how you style and maintain hairstyles in humid weather would be so helpful.
Truly uplifting to the feminine! Thank you beauty!💖
I love the black hair colour though, it's beautiful and defined ☘️✨
I looooveeeed your “blow dry” method. I also have curly hair and have decided to go back to straight hair.
I’ve struggled because I get mad that my hair doesn’t look pin straight when I do it myself, and also that since it doesn’t have much volume while straight it looks like I have little density of hair. The first thing I wonder when I saw your volume I was like “so beautiful and voluminous, does she have extensions”. So thanks, I’ll really try this ♥️
I think you might like it a lot ❤️☺️✨ thank you for watching
Thank you so much for your content- you always help me to be more present with self care and self maintenance things ❤
black hair looks awesome on you!! 😍
I've been struggling with a bit of grey hairs cuz of genetics even though im young :( but this was so helpful i ❤️ you alex
You’re visuals and information is unmatched ❤
So happy you got back your beautiful dark hair it looks amazing❤
I would say her season color is deep autumn, so yes, dark hair really suits her deep eyes!
@@PuripuriDrawingsI think she’s a winter bright
the black rlly suit you it makes you look more illuminate and young and it f=gives healthier looking hair too!
Thank you so much ✨🥰❤️🖤
@@AlexandrasGirlyTalk no problem!! ur drop dead gorgeous!!💖💖
Agree 💯
I have similar hair type!! I always hated it but watching this video I feel more confident about my hair! And I absolutely love your hair!!!🩷🩷
I love your videos. I'd love to see more details on specifically how you're wrapping your hair around that heatless curling tool?
These are the products and steps I took to turn my hair from crap to WOW!
thanks for the tips ❤
@@rawrsophiexyw, if you decide to try those oral supplements like the collagen peptides, oral hyaluronic acid pills with biotin and a good fish oil supplement or just any increase of a little bit of healthy fat consumption, please let me know how it works for you. Ik know all my hair stylists ask me what i use aside from my daily products applications. Also, let me know if you do try those ad well. I'd love to hear. P.s. the oral products are also anti aging to the 10th power. You're going to get great skin and maintain your youth 10 fold instead of just application of product on skin only.
Deep rich hair looks absolutely gorgeous on you💓
Your videos have helped me so much as an adult woman who wasn’t taught anything about hair or skin care or color theory ❤❤
The black looks amazing!
My biggest hair struggles are greasy and frizzy hair so I’ll definitely will be trying the first few tips!
I don't want to ask for that much, but also a video how you keep your home clean and welcoming would be nice 😅
My parents didn't cared so much about me and I feel like I have to parent and teach myself a hole new world of grown ups in a age of 24.
Also as an only child I can say: you are a truly big sister for me ❤
💕
Thank you so much for this technique-focused video! I really enjoy those🌟
I used to always do the partial washing before school!!
I used to think I was crazy for doing it😆
I’m happy to see it’s a *hair care secret* now ☺️
The black is beautiful. Absolutely stunning.
Omg, washing only the crown section of your hair is genius THANK YOU! 🩷
She is so beautiful. She's got beautiful thick hair, loved it red but black is also beautiful.
Pointing out the stomach vacum was so awesome because I personally forget alot on top of being very tired most of the time
you are one of the more person i have ever seen! drop dead gorgeous and i love the tips tysm!!
Small correction she looks dead
@@luvsachkash did she have a plastic surgery? I am so confused, I used to watch her before, now there is a bit of uncanny valley about her. She is very beautiful but something just seems off
@@herup-101 lmao. U can cleary see she has ps. Her lips eyes all sa that
Your hair looks so beautiful and healthy! Thank you for sharing!
Omg your hair is gorgeous!
the way i just dyed my hair black from the orange hair too is so accurate.
😮😮😮
When I was 7 I asked for a trim and the woman chopped off all my hair and I looked like Dora the explorer and I couldn’t stop crying, I don’t let anyone touch my hair anymore lol
Wow, that’s pretty toxic 😮
I swear this happens to me all the time! I got so traumatized by them always insisting on chopping more off than I was comfortable, I'd talk them into only doing an inch at most, and when I'd get turned around in my chair, it would be close to double the agreed upon amount and I'd never want to go back! Every single time my hair would finally get to a length I liked, everyone around me would pressure me into getting a trim that would leave me waiting a year for my hair to grow back. I can't believe they would do this on purpose. 😢
Thank you for mentioning the stomach vacuuming technique that reduces back pain ❤️very helpful ❤️
omg....you've inspired me to grow my hair long.
Thanks so much! Question: do you have a link for that interesting pink brush that kind of spreads out like a fan when you brush your hair?
I Hope she or someone responds!
So happy you went back to black!!! Looks beautiful ❤
Thank you very much 🥰☺️
Omg paint your hair half half, including the washing. It was mind-blowing for me!!! 🤯 You always serve excellent content... AMAZING!
Im so glad that you're back to uploading caz genuinely i've learned so much from you
You are divine and the effort you put into your looks really pays well off! I aspire to be like you one day when I’m a grown woman
ok ily! great tips- from someone who always watchign hair growth videos and pretty long hair myself because of dedication- also love the random stomache vacuum was gold hehe
I’m so glad you liked this🥰💗 and yay I knew I shouldn’t leave out the random stomach vacuum 😂🥰✨
I thought about you alot a few days ago, and now RUclips suggested your video. I was so excited! Thank you.
thank you for watching ❤️🥰❤️
I'm almost at the end of the video, and I must commend you to another great upload! I've been struggling with my hair recently, and so the timing was perfect! I've always admired how you style your hair and recently got into satin bonnets so just AHHHH I'm so excited to try the stuff in the video at home! I'm adopted, and my mom (with pale, curly, thin afro like hair) never knew how to style my hair so the products she would use would end up damaging my hair (long, very thick dark hair). So I'm so so so excited to learn to finally take care of and love my hair! Amazing video as always!
That’s so amazing thank you for your comment ❤️ I’m adopted too!
considering your natural hair is curly, you should nourish your hair, so that when its in its natural state is looks healthy. I feel that right now, when your hair is not straightened , it kinda looks fried.
I'm saying this because I have experienced the same
A dermatologist actually told me to stop putting that specific glycolic acid on my head 😢 it was causing more harm than good
whyyyy
Oh
Og Nara Smith. Ive been trying to put my finger on why Nara looked so familiar for the longest. So glad youve been recommended to me again after so many years
Alexandra, your videos transformed my whole life to a great extent. I am a full time Girly Girl. 🌸💖
How often do you trim your hair? Every time I so to the salon, I always feel like they don’t cut all of the split ends and I find more whenever I come back home 🥺 you look so beautiful by the way! Black hair looks amazing on you 🤩
this just gave me such a boost to do my own hair and start taking care of it
Vacuums also helps with pelvic floor strength!
makes you look so young and makes your hair look so healthy
I love what you said about shampoo abs! Ive resolved to do a full squat every time i pick something up off the floor. So far my but is huge and my back is stronger 😂
Ur face has changed drastically than the last time i saw u! Is it bcz of any surgery!?
It has been SO long since her vids showed up in my newsfeed. I used to watch her growing up n I’ve learned so much from her trying to deal with the changes of becoming a teen and now I have become a woman. I have come so far learning different beauty tricks and facts from these women on RUclips I have looked up to growing up🩷
Honestly I just put olive oil on my hair & braid it to go to sleep most of the time. The boar hair brush is a good tip, it promotes hair growth too because it stimulates blood flow to the scalp. I used to do that but stopped because my hair is almost to my knees at this point lol
Love the idea of styling on natural, textured hair. A must-try!
Your videos are amazing! Thank you for all of the effort you put on them! I am so happy because you just gave me great news, I have curly hair and I love a good 90’s hairstyle, I am eager to try doing those curls directly on my natural hair texture ❤
this woman is a genius yall
🎀Your hair looks amazing.🎀
🎀The tissue over the ear is such a good method. I use Vaseline over my ears and still get dye on them. So this is a great method. I will try it thank you.🎀
My whole hair ammount is like her's front section that she washed 😂 but the tips were great
You are crazy gorgous with your natural features! Your like Barbie doll or a pin up model. I love your eyes, they are what stand out to me as your most unique feature that makes you gorgeous. Thank you for all the tips! These are ones I have rarely heard of and I will definitely go out and buy a bore brush and use that clean the top sector tip. THANKS
shes not real shes obvi done work on herself
@@cri.es_8407 I love her eyes, she has had work done on her lips and cheeks but their the original shape, maybe not size but you can see what you might look if not so enhanced. I love her eyes, so unique
Yes!! Silk bonnets helps. Please ladies get one and save your hair from a lot of breakage. Anyone can wear them.
I'll be on Amazon getting a boar brush before the end of the day. Thanks Alexandra!
She’s like an older sister/mother too me I’ve learned things I never knew I needed. Thank you❤
