I used to do eyeliner from the inner corner of my eye outward. I have hooded eyes so it made my eyes very heavy and was just off. I started doing outer corner eyeliner and only bring it in halfway above my pupil now.

Same!! Definitely an aha moment for me. We all have those nights where we spend an hour plus getting ready and then for some reason the end look just isn’t quite right and you don’t know why. It’s not like you’ve done anything super different in terms of colors or styles, it’s all stuff you’ve worn and liked before. This is a potential reason for sure- hair and makeup out of balance with each other

@@tula1433I'm not trying to be rude, just some basic fyi, You shouldnt do it more than once per week, because it removes the top layer of your skin, like a chemical peel. She always has had lips that size and I think the lips are making people think she's over done, but her lips are naturally like that, and her skin and face look the same as always, I really think she only got some subtle natural tweaks, as any of us would if we could afford it. The comments act like they're saying it cuz they're worried and care about her but all it is is kinda mean, it's like when you don't wear makeup and someone asks if you're ok or if you're sick 🤦‍♀️ makes it seem like they care but obvi if i werent ok or sick Id tell you, and now you just feel bad about how you look

I've tried dermaplaning myself and have gotten it done professionally many many times and every single time, I've broken out. My skin barrier just can't handle it. If your skin is like mine, I'd recommend bleaching the peach fuzz instead if you want it to look less prominent. I just use a facial hair bleach and keep it on for 15 minutes. It turns the peach fuzz light and less noticeable. You don't have to do this of course, and in the grand scheme of things, people aren't going to notice your peach fuzz because no one is looking at your face that close up, so don't feel like you have to get rid of completely normal parts of your face ❤️

I've had breakouts from it too, but only the first couple of times I've done it. In the meantime I also started doing at-home IPL (Ulike) and I've been doing it on my face too. Not sure if it's just the IPL or the products I'm using (started using some new ones recently), but my skin is looking better than ever. IPL is supposed to help with acne and acne scars too, and I'm def seeing an improvement. Don't know if it's gonna help get rid of the peach fuzz entirely, because there isn't a lot of contrast between the peach fuzz and my skin tone, but it has definitely reduced it. My skin is generally sensitive to shaving and waxing, so I've had to depilate for years now, and IPL has been a life changer for me.

Great video, but I think peach fuzz can be a look. Marilyn Monroe famously kept hers because she thought it gave a blurred effect with the makeup. Plus shaving your face can cause breakouts in some people and make it more sensitive. Personally I do it because I like to have a glass skin look. But I wouldn’t say keeping peach fuzz is a mistake.

I'm into a full coverage look, so I wear concealer all over my face. I know some find it "heavy" but if you think about it, I need to use more foundation to get the same amount of coverage with less concealer. So I apply less product and it's not as slippery as foundation.

Very smart. I realized I looked better with light make up. After years of the 2000s Smokey eye I finally just switched to a simple wing and lips and blush. So much fresher.

Thank you for posting! I love your videos 😍 i was rewarching some of the old vids and i especially loved all your 'dress better' / "hair secrets" type videos. I am being pushy but have video requests if you ever need ideas.
    - sorting through currently owned clothes - how do I know when an item has run it's course in my closet? How do I tell based on my current clothes what else I need?
    - how u decide what you need clothing-wise / cosmetics wise (making a shopping list, what is just a current want vs something that will enrich my wardrobe)
    - shop with me (talk through what goes through ur head when u r shopping or online shopping)
    - how to try on clothes (what to look for fit-wise, how to see if it suits your wardrobe)
    - basic but a "what's in my bag" lol.

It's a struggle for sure! I tend to get the green shade of the Nyx liquid concealer and add a bit of that to my foundation.
I also add it to my cream contour (using my hand as a palette, then I just stamp it on wherever I need it and blend). Gives a more cool-toned natural contour colour!
