This is perfect for the whole quarantine situation. Gives me a break from using products in my hair! Tbh im only walking to my living room so who cares if there's some frizz LOL
I’ve got 2b/2c curls and I kinda hate it. When I air dry my hair they get so frizzy. Most of the time my hair doesn’t even stay curly either. If I touch my hair/sleep on it my curls go flat and get even frizzier. I wish I had 3a/3b curls like Jayme. Her hair is so pretty and well defined. If I have to have curly hair, I want my hair to look like hers.
I feel you girl... Same problem here. I've got mostly 2b-2c hair (and some 3a pieces that I really cherish but obviously they are where nobody can see them and are gone on day 2 haha) and that's the problem with wavy hair: it just doesn't last. It doesn't have a good hold and definition naturally. Personally, I still didn't find a product that makes my hair look good right after the drying process. I always have to do a curl by curl "definition process" with a gel to really get those curls to pop. But obviously, more definition means less volume and also the next day it's already freezy and curls are loose. Wavy hair is a struggle... it's neither pin-straight nor actually curly.
i have 3a-3b hair and i personally think type 2/wavy hair is GORGEOUS! Try using shea moisture smoothies, they’re great! deep condition helps, and wash your hair upside down. have you tried watching videos about type 2 hair? it would really help you! :) i’m sure ur hair is beautiful either way ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Tooma Massawi sameeee😩 it's not like I hate any specific texture...I had hip length crazy straight (. I am south Asian) but it started to get really really bad 2 years back when I got a haircut (it was elbow length) half of it fell down the rest is very very frizzy and I have failed at the cgm gonna start taking care of my hair a slightly different way from tomorrow
I’ve got 3a hair, but I struggle with frizz and lack of volume😭 I’m trying this tomorrow and seeing what it does; I’ll come back to you and tell you how it worked! This should work for 2c curls , just slightly looser curls x

Wowzers! I've been transitioning for the last two years, and this is the single most useful video I've watched. I have dry, 3b hair, but it's quite fine, so quickly gets greasy at the roots and dry at the ends. I used sea salt with my regular shampoo, and my scalp felt AMAZING, and did wonders for my baby hairs. Using conditioner as the last step was such a brilliant tip - I've wasted so much money on products that turn out to be just too heavy for my fine hair. For the first time since transitioning, my hair was soft, glossy and well-defined. Thank you so much!
the ends of my hair look identical to yours, but I can never get my roots to curl up no matter what products I use/how much I scrunch. They're always wavy at best
I think it's because the roots are pulled down by the weight of the hair and the longer the hair the more this will happen so maybe you can try deffusing the letting the hair sit in the diffuser so that the roots won't be pulled down
I have this problem too. I find that it helps to wet plot for 10-20mins, not touch my hair at all while it's drying, and if I'm really trying to be extra, I'll let my hair partially air dry upside-down by laying on my stomach with my head over the side of my bed as I scroll on my phone. Not sure if that description makes sense but it really works for me.
Hi everyone! I am seeing lots of comments about never being able to do something like this because of frizz. That used to be me! Check your gel/cream products and make sure they do not have alcohol in them. Alcohol can be very drying for curly hair and although lots of people swear by the "gel cast" method it might be the reason your hair is so frizzy and dry when it is product-less. Check your products and definitely risk having a few bad hair days for the sake of restoring moisture back into your hair. If you want safe style options for removing gel from your routine do half up-half down, claw clip styles, french braids etc. Just use low tension styles that can hold in the moisture without necessarily using a gel. I am currently wearing half up-half down style with a claw clip. I have a little past shoulder length hair. All I did to style was water and conditioner. I am still restoring my hair back to a healthier state! Some people are unaffected by gel but it always dried my hair out! Even though it looked good it felt scratchy and dead.

Now Ik I’m a beginner of curly hair care so I’m not going to expect my curls to turn out just as good as jayme but if it does work I’m sure that if I continue this routine my curls will look just as good as hers thank you jayme❤

Thank you so much. It's a bit frizzy cause I'm still learning, but it is normal and it is very defined even without the products. 🤗💘
Start off by getting in the shower. 1. Rinse hair and use a scalp scrub (once a week - Christof robern Sea Salt Scrub) *TIP: keep it on the scalp, don't take it to the end of your hair.* 2. Wash out & condition. • Pantene Micellar Conditioner (Aloe Vera Range). • Apply to lengths of your hair (especially ends) 3. Detangle hair & rinse out • DON'T rinse out entirely. • Keep decent amount of product so that hair stays moisturized. 4. Add a TINY amount of conditioner to re-coat hair and make it moisturized. 5. Brush with denman 6. Split hair down the middle, and brush a little more + Add a few coils 7. Start to scrunch hair (hold from length to roots and scrunch a few times) 8. Use Microfiber towel or t-shirt to scrunch hair (drying process will be easier)
You are just the cutest! Thank you for this suggestion. I love how my hair looks with products, but I prefer to be a minimalist. Not sure how this will hold up in very humid Florida, but I'm going to give it a try.
I stopped using hair products 5 months ago. My hair grew out like crazy, zero split ends and next to nothing breakage. I style my hair with denman brush with a little bit of conditioner still in my hair. Works out really well !!!! The first few washes my hair looked frizzy but once your hair gets used to it, frizz will not be a problem because there will be no frizz.
Your Do's and Donts video helped me so much! I realized I'm putting too much products in my roots (not as dramatic as the video but still way too much!) and I realized I'm ignoring the back/crown of my hair! Thank you so so much!!❤️
If this was my hair with no product, I'd save a fortune. I need to now dye my hair - it's dyed red but I've enough greys coming in that I'd be colouring it regardless. Do what I can to protect it and have recently just dyed the roots with permanent stuff and used the conditioning colour boost products on the mids - ends. I've noticed ringlets appearing underneath not too dissimilar to yours as they've taken less of a hit over the years but the front and top layers still much looser. Annnnnd the experiment continues....
Beautiful, thank you! I'll be trying this next time Seeing how long your hair is when it's wet compared to how it is dry completely defeats every hair dresser who ever told me I couldn't have long hair because the curls wouldnt hold under the weight of the length. My hair is fine and super light and will curl from the scalp if it's happy so screw them! But the world needs more curly hair dressers :(
Your hair is amazing! I am really happy you air dry because I want to baby mine so I can drop it longer without damage. Perfect for me! Thank you very much! 🙏🏼❤️
Thank you so much for all the love and effort you put in your channel!! You are such a big inspiration to me, my hair has been looking really good lately using your routines. Thank you!!!❤❤
Love your curls! I am transitioning for a month now and I use a face steamer to refresh second day hair, sometimes it still works for the third. Gamechanger, because it's not realy that wett and dries faster! Almost wake up and ready to go. If you used product on wash day and the first ingredient is water it will even reactivate it.
I'm a dude and my hair is curly as yours , since the pandemic it's the first time I ever grew it out long . I use the head and shoulders coconut and air dry.

You are just the cutest! Thank you for this suggestion. I love how my hair looks with products, but I prefer to be a minimalist. Not sure how this will hold up in very humid Florida, but I'm going to give it a try.
If my hair looked like this, I would never use product 😍😍😍
I stopped using hair products 5 months ago. My hair grew out like crazy, zero split ends and next to nothing breakage. I style my hair with denman brush with a little bit of conditioner still in my hair. Works out really well !!!! The first few washes my hair looked frizzy but once your hair gets used to it, frizz will not be a problem because there will be no frizz.
you helped my hair go from supper frizzy to beautiful defined curls!! thank you
I followed your steps..and the result is really fantastic..
Thank you😍😍
Your Do's and Donts video helped me so much! I realized I'm putting too much products in my roots (not as dramatic as the video but still way too much!) and I realized I'm ignoring the back/crown of my hair! Thank you so so much!!❤️
I have been waiting for this video even though I don’t have hair like yours love this thanks!!!!🔥💖❤️🥺😱😱😱
This seems like a great routine for vacations! Quick, easy and effective. Thank you 🥰
If this was my hair with no product, I'd save a fortune.
I would be so glad if any hairdresser in my hometown could handle my curls 😌
Your videos are so helpful ❤️🥺😊!!
also you and your sister are so cute together she got some good range with those vocals lol
Beautiful, thank you! I'll be trying this next time
Seeing how long your hair is when it's wet compared to how it is dry completely defeats every hair dresser who ever told me I couldn't have long hair because the curls wouldnt hold under the weight of the length.
My hair is fine and super light and will curl from the scalp if it's happy so screw them!
But the world needs more curly hair dressers :(
Beautiful natural curls! Btw Jayme, what is your curly cut? aka how do you cut your hair, for more volume? :)
You’ve actually helped me so much more then you can imagine, thanks 🙏
your hair looks so thin when wet and soooo thick when dry
how is that possible ! youre so Lucky
Her hair has volume and her curls are small this is the secret
Yes.she has small amount of hair.and after drying full of hair.she definitely using curl define
@@Rose-xo8mx is that a product or a technic??
LOVE THIS!!! Thanks for the detailed suggestions (the sound the hair is supposed to make when scrunching) 🙌🏽 excites to try this myself this week!
Thank you!!!❤❤
perfect time to try this while we are home!! love this video!!
I'm.... obsessed with you haha. you're hair is amazing and you're beautiful. thank you for all the tips!
Omg your curls are so perfect even without products it’s unbelievable 😍😍
I thought that my frizz was because of not using much product but you just proved me wrong! Thanks jayme💕
Would love to know how you refresh your hair throughout the week after working out!!
I am starting this video today!!!
I'm a dude and my hair is curly as yours , since the pandemic it's the first time I ever grew it out long . I use the head and shoulders coconut and air dry.
I was sleeping when you upload this but as soon as I woke up and saw it knew I had to do it and the fact that this is my wash hair day is a just a bonus 😌
your hair is so beautiful!!!❤️ i have 2b hair if i don’t brush it then it looks really messy but if i do brush it then it gets frizzy (that’s without product btw) if i use product, then i don’t brush it and it looks good
Love this, Jayme! Beautiful results! I need to try this which I haven't done in a while.
I HATE THAT FEELING OF STICKY HAIR DOWN MY BACK IT’S HORRIBLE.
Especially when your hair is long and it goes under your armpits hate it omg
Your hair is stunning and you are a ray of sunshine on youtube :)

I love your style is so beautiful including your jewelry!
It's really supportive how much you help people with curly hair with tips and tricks Wich I'm sure so many of us can relate ❤️ however, I've tried it before and trust me grl, it was a disaster 😂 my hair is a little bit thicker than yours and my curly a alot tighter than yours, so I think that for people with medium to thick hair it's not really working but I fully appreciate it❤️
But omg your hair is so beautiful and shiny 😍
Ahhh they’re so pretty! You look so cute!
Any advice on curls that droop after about two hours? I would say I have 3B
curls. I love your videos, you are so beautiful!
I immediately went looking for the conditioner, but it looks like no one sells in the USA right now :((
Annalece Morgan try online!
Online Walmart should sell it

You read my mind. I was wondering how I could style my hair with no products since I can't go out and I don't want to run out of products ☹️ Thank you. This is very useful
