It's great to see Jeff Hardy and Kurt Angle were able to overcome their substance abuse issues. No one will forget his match against Sting in TNA were he was higher than a kite
He was always a highflyler, what do you expect? 😂😂😂😂😂
@@JayCity10 Lol true
Unfortunately, that's always going to be my abiding memory of him
Kurt angle? Milk and cookies addiction?
@@zoomgallygally You're obviously not a Angle fan
Conrad needs to control that light hitting him.
His face and shirt matched lol
That's his natural skin color. He ain't been out the basement in a while.
Tis the season for a Jeff Hardy Documentary
Not many have ever had the abilities and the charisma the "it factor" like the Hardy bros
so often in wrestling wrestlers only have one or the other or sometimes neither but the Hardys were as amazing to watch athletically as they were entertaining
You said it, Stan
he would of got pushed to the moon in 09 if it wasnt for his drug problems, vince actually likes jeff
He left in 09 due to injury. Vince even wanted Jeff on a part time deal. He had 2 herniated discs and a neck injury that almost ended his career so he took time off.
@@marcusjohnson7321 he went to tna tho
@@travisking4994 where he only had to work, like, once every other week or some shit. Instead of basically every day like the guys in WWE do.
I believe Jeff would have been WWE ALOT sooner had he went to rehab, got clean, and I believe he probably never would have even left WWE in 2003 to 2006...
All the things he achieved is really the testament to just how good the dude is. It’s shitty to say but if he wasn’t so good he’d have been out of the business forever ago with how many times he slipped up. And even with all the slips he still won multiple world titles. If he’d not had the issues he’d be even more immense of a star than he already has been. Really stinks he’s had the struggles off and on for so long. Primarily for his health but much less importantly it just would’ve been fun to see what heights he’d have hit had it not been a factor.
the hardy boys were always my favorite, jeff especially. and, i also struggle with the addiction demon. to see him now is so awesome, gives me hope on the days when i have non. so great, so awesome.
Honestly, I get Jeff at that point in his life.
He was just so freaking young, and when you're young you feel invincible.
JR said it quite good; He needed to mature a little bit more to ask for help
It's nice hearing about that now in 2021, 10 years after he reached the bottom, knowing he had the strength to leave the addictions in the past.
Jeff didn't belong in the cruiserweight division imo.
Let’s be real. He puts his BODY on the line. Substance abuse was apart of the highflying danger
yeah i agree 100%
that's no excuses for drugs bitch
@@Doominthegloom says someone who sits in the room and takes 0 risks how you gonna talk from a perspective u know nothing about
@@Prestize how that taking risks equals being a alcoholic drug addict??? , people take risks every single day and don't do drugs
@@Doominthegloom that argument proves dick. You should know that.
I mean doing the stunts he did I'm surprised and glad Jeff is still alive but dam his high flying antics made him and broke him
That match with Sting is when I realized I liked the entertainment over the man. Such a low point but makes his triumph so much better!
💯 I think he learnt a lot from that experience.
@@Collinzmusic yeah I agree
@Philip Tucker I think AJ was just as pissed too.
@Philip Tucker he wanted to lol.
Love how Vince always had the idea to push him, even back then. He knew how over he was. Glad things turned out the way they did, but imagine the matches he’d have for the title back in 2004. Although I’d like to see him on smackdown, not wanting him to be buried by triple h and evolution, cus imagine the stuff they’d do to Jeff and Jeff go along with it cus he’d be in the main event. Probably bury him in terms of title picture. He’d always be over with the fans.
Will always be my favorite wrestler no one has ever over came so much hope wwe does right by him by letting him get a main event title again universal or wwe title
Him and Matt where my favourite wrestlers so good to hear him clean
I couldnt imagine that the guy who was jumping off of ladders every night onto steel chairs and tables had a pain pill problem.
Yall member jeff had the colorful hair and jim ross said his head look like a bowl of fruit loops or fruity pebbles? I was a kid watching that i was laughing so hard.
03 Jeff really could’ve been something special. Especially on Smackdown.
I really wish Eddie didn't have to die for people to start taking this stuff seriously.
I wish wrestlers could get high all they want and not get tested
@@x2bannedyoutubeaccount408 If they're working high (and endangering the safety of their fellow wrestler) or if you're missing work because you're high, then that's unacceptable. Using outside of work, I agree, who cares. But how do you police that?
PlEaSe! His "best friend" violated WWE's Wellness Policy TWICE within twelve months of Latino Heat's death, despite, his career's greatest push the following year.
@@bradpaton3927 But thats just it, the wellness policy was toughened up, so Kurt could actually violate it twice. Before that he flew under the radar no problem. If it weren't for what happened to Eddie, we might have lost Kurt as well.
Your logic on this matter resembles that of The British in World War 1 when they started issuing helmets and noticed head injuries were going up and thought the helmets were the cause, when in reality there were more head injuries because there were less people dying of head trauma, thanks to the helmet.
I wish I had some big girl pussy.
Disappointed by JR not even mentioning the shit Jeff put his body through. I mean he was taking bumps at a rate and intensity that nobody besides maybe Mick Foley could match. Guy was probably in ridiculous pain from all that stuff.
Jeff Hardy was going to be the face of wwe for a long time but he loved drug’s more 😢
Because he was and is in pain, Jim. That's why. By 2004 the man had already been punishing his body on a daily to weekly basis for 7 years. Multiple times a week doing the swanton. A few times a month add in a table or a ladder. Over an over and over. Can you imagine what his back feels like when he first gets out of bed? And the man's only in his early to mid 40's. Now this is NOT an excuse for his driving AT ALL. A substance abuser still has a responsibility to not put other's lives at risk. When you're going to drink or pill up, do it in the privacy of your home when you're ready to wind down for the night. If you're out, get a damn Uber especially if you're a millionaire. But asking "why" he was doing it is a stupid premise.
My father had encounters with certain personell at a young age let's just say in a not very pleasant manner in his Hurling and Gaelic Football club (Irish sports) I felt that was the main root to his drinking problems. Then again if that didn't happen I feel he would have still had the same addictiveness towards alcohol. I guess that behaviour of getting attached to a substance is either in you or it's not kind of thing you know.
wow hurling is amazing
Conrad, are you ever going to ask JR about Grizzly Smith or has JR made that topic off limits?
What's that
Imagine Jeff Hardy Being World Champion in 2003 or Undisputed Championship
Jeff's solid ability To wrestle only like the Charismatic engima can is what makes him unbelievable.Facing those addictions are heavy so I respect the fact that He is a human being just like us has faults. He needed to focus on Himself before hitting the ring and I understand that . But all that time and energy He could have flooded the WWE and been just as big a name of any of em even Goldberg 🔥 Cena Rock HHH Shawn .He would have been awesome in those storyline roles because all he needed was a little mic work and He would have changed the WWE forever. He's still my favorite of all time .
Jeff Kurt and Jake deserve a good ritered life and healthy
Jeff Hardy was on drugs?
The hell you say!
Who's the bloated ghost?
Jeff Hardy wasn't even in WWE in 2004!
Because he was let go, I'm pretty sure that's the discussion.
He was let go before wm 19 which was in march of 03 his last match was vs the rock on raw
Its a shame to because that 2003 year might have been huge for him he started the year in a mini feud with RVD had a real good match with Jericho at no way out and the then he started to lose matches and he was kinda turning heel and HBK superkicked him back to babyface
Then he went from baby heel to babyface to saving trish stratus from stevie Richards and Victoria and making out with trish and as a 9 year old me i was thinking jeff is the coolest guy in the world
Some people dont understand but in order to be Jeff Hardy, you need to be high. He aint takin those bumps sober lol
Fuck drugs and injuries
Shush jr live your own life and leave him alone
we all know that VINCE NEVER Liked Jeff as much as He Liked Edge and John Cena Even now he still geves oportuniti to Edge and buries Jeff
Can’t depend on Jeff what do you expect?
Jeff Hardy's drug problems in....
Well fuck, pick a year
Bro needed it after all the abuse he put himself through for us
Alot of people would rather get high then go to work. Unfortunately getting high doesn't put food on the table and a roof over your head. If it did that would have been my career from 18-35.
:(
Too bad the company only saw Jeff and not matt who had the most hidden potential of the two brothers and who in my opinion surpassed Jeff eons ago.
They're both great and deserve praise for everything they've done, however, i feel just got hot at the right place at the right time.
Matt never had the charisma Jeff had
I always felt that Matt v1 deserved a bigger push.
@@davidgraham8299 Jeff Hardy's charisma went as far as dancing about on the ramp, but he had zero presence on the microphone.
@@bradcsuka5054 He got injured right when he was going to get his push so Vince scrapped that. Same with Gregory helms.
I rather get high and make money Jeff had the right mindset the old heads just made it a law to not be happy being high while getting money
First one here let's go
There all junkies, and Vince has always known it
