I live in South St. Louis where that allegedly began. I can guarantee it was a real thing. The uncle of my friend was almost killed. The mayor pulled him into his limousine and took him to Barnes. The kids responsible and their parents threatened the only witness (also a child) and charges were dropped. The victim watched as the assailants walked out of court laughing and high fiving.

I was in one of those elevated train stations when suddenly I heard a guy screaming his head off and punching businesses gates. I looked down through the window as he was passing by a woman, and you probably guessed it... he punched that woman right in the face. Theres too many mentally ill people in NYC, too many.
Something similar happened to my mother in law at a train station. We called the police and the guy actually got caught. Does anybody wanna guess what happened shortly after?

There was not one emotional response to the injustice the victims faced, only fear for their own personal safety. If this is indicative of how New Yorkers actually feel, they are not ready to act (i.e. vote). The less empathetic a society becomes, the more injustice it is willing to accept without acting.

I am guy and was punched behind my head while I was sitting inside the train next to the door. The A train stopped momentarily at Columbus Circle and someone from outside the train punched me on the back of the head, I never saw the individual. Completely unexpected.

His chick came over and helped guide him away. I proceeded to follow behind him driving 2 mph talking shit to him for a min or 2. I almost got back out but smartly drove away. I m from NYC and it's sad because NY is a very nice city , so much to see and do unfortunately things like this make u scared to go . I now live in Pittsburgh and I am going to visit NY next month in April. I can't wait but I know I gotta be careful. I still love NY with all the craziness going on I just can't stay away😊
