He was already charged and prosecuted for assault for the same crime. Legally they can’t charge him again, even though the charge is different, for the same crime because that is double jeopardy, which is part of the fifth amendment. This case could very well set a precedent for emerging evidence when it comes to charging for the same crime, tho

Some states view double jeopardy in a more broad sense, and it really comes down to what the judge says as long as there isn’t a recent Supreme Court ruling on it

I knew someone whose father beaten a group of teens and ended up in comma many years until he died. These teens who had grown, had children themselves were charged with murder and sent back to prison.

Gary Anderson should be arrest for assault and murder he should be sentence for long time Gary Anderson was arrest after crime and served two years in NYPD custody and he was convicted in 2019 for assault and served close to 3 years in prison he served total of 5 years in prison and released on may of 2022 he has been on parole for 2 years he need to be rearrest now before he strike again.
It would be nice to make contact with the family to set up a GoFundMe. I'm sure they could really use the monetary support.

The punch that lead to the complication that caused his death is as responsible as whoever shot the bullet that killed a man. Man slaughter in this degree is cold, 2 years? Now we have to share the streets to a cold killer. The judge that doesn’t update this charge is as guilty as the killer.
