Except jebus cross. In hyper late game oc they are the best, but in jc you cant justify additional 5k to build them because you wanna break as fast as possible and usually make monarch main powerstack when playing fortress. Maybe 1 in 200 games if you dont find any hives and get some gorgons from pandora box or all you have some gorgon dwellings around, only then you could think about that.

The fact that Mighty Gorgons effectively do 2x-3x damage against level 7 creatures with death stare (do the math) puts them in S tier. Resource silo isn't great, but total cost for Mighty Gorgons is: 10W 10O 5M 5S 2500 G (base), plus 5W 5O 2000G (upgrade), plus 5W 5O 5000G (silo), 5W 2M 2S 1000 G (serpent hive), 5W 1000G (lizard), 10W 400G (knoll). Summed is: 40W, 20O, 7M, 7S, 11900G. Do the same thing for Master Genies and you get: 5W 2000G (upgrade), 5W 5O 6C 6G 3000G (base), 5W 5O 5M 5S 5C 5G 2500 G (mage), 5W 5O 2000G (mage guild, not included below because you'll have it for other reasons), 5W 5O 2500 (golem), 10O 1000G (parapet), 5W 5O 300G (workshop). Summed is: 20W, 30O, 5M, 5S, 11C, 11G, 11300G. About the same gold, same days to build, but greater resources for Master Genies. You can argue that the build path is better in Tower because all these buildings give unit production, but you're never able to buy all the units in Tower anyway.

Creature tierlists for jebus cross don't even matter because factions don't matter, it's all about farming for outside creatures and often people don't even build their castle. @@piotrkosakowski7071 You pay not only resources, but time as well. There are better alternatives to spend your building “turn” in a fast PvP game. And when you have both resources and extra turns, it appears you have already replaced your beef by crazy stacks from jo treasury.
The Mighty Gorgons do not deserve to be so low. The build path is not the only thing to consider. You also need to consider how good they are when you get them from a box or diplo them, and how scary they are when encountered on the battlefield - when you fight agains them, you need to be taking retals *every time*, which affects your whole battle plan, and if they happen to morale - there goes your angels. You consider the other factors for some units, but ignored them completely for the mighty gorgons, immediately putting them in C just because of build path. I think that's not fair.
Well, yes. They are amazing as a diplo or a box unit. Can do fights otherwise impossible. But from my thousands of online games i've yet to see them in a non meme template being use, while the gorgon is a solid unit seen in almost any fortress game. I did put magi higher on the list despite being seen almost as rarely as the gorgon, while you may say this is an inconsistancy, i don't really think so. Because to see the good upsides of a gorgon you need a powerstack of them, meanwhile almost the full potential of the magi upsides is reached by having just 1 of them, making a single dwelling or a small diplo good enough use case for those creatures.
When you play a random map on impossible difficulty, the Resource silo is quite useful. Especially in towns where it provides special resources but not +1 wood and +1 ore.
The prerequisite to get Mighty Gorgon is a joke yes, otherwise, ability and stat-wise, definitely should be a S tier ^^|| (highest HP, highest Def among all level 5, and one of the best ability too)
2-5 Elemental units are weird because before release of Conflux in an expansion, they used be the same tier, but with release of the town, developers had to put them in some order
Context for normal people, a lot of individuals here only play one map over and over till the end of time and meet in week 3, that's why they have gorgons so low because often people don't even build their castle, it's all about farming stuff for creatures from other towns. Felt the need to explain because it's a clash of 2 worlds in the comments.
Trolls are S tier in the first 2 weeks of the game. Cause you can't really outdamage their healing and kite them well. Especially with low unit counts. Just depends they are strong in numbers 1-5 not 100-500
golden golems: you can cast armageddon from us and it will do minimal damage to us, we are not useless Lex: C-tier Shitters: we are immune to armageddon Lex: D-tier
Upgraded creatures on map face other way than basic version, basic looks to right and upgraded version looks to left. But the main difference is branches on them back.
Telling the difference between dendroids and dendroid soldiers is easy. Look at their feet. - Does it have little square tree logs almost like hooves? Dendroids. Does it have green roots/claws down there? That's a soldier. - And it also has some branches on its back. If you don't notice that in an instant I'm sorry.
Unexpected premises to build a tier list from. It would be nice to see an extended video, where you first go through the units, as they are in themselves on the adventure map, and then rearrange them afterwards, according to your already established reasoning. I agree with your lists, on the most part
Yeah as a Mighty Gorgon fan im also sad,its a great unit probably best 1v1 boxing potential, they can K.O. Joshoa with 1 hit l, but you make good point with the resourse silo, and its a tier list not a boxing match .
So you tell me that even when 9 out of 10 games your and the opponent's army is mainly 6 and 7 lvl units, but Mighty Gorgons are useless? Damn, the hypocrisy...
At first try to play some JC and win some games, then tell me again your conclusions. In JC you focus on creature banks where you get FREE units and rush to the centre at the end of the week. All the gold you spend is usually for HEROES to increase your logistic capability. For mighty gorgons you will have to spend amost 10k for building and 3 turns, so at the end of the week you either have these or monarchs or both without mage guild (gnoll upg 1st turn then serpent flies, market place, resource seelo, lair, upg. lair, mage guild). Not to mention you will have to hire everything and get them upgraded. It will make your heroes busy. So even if you have shit loads of money which doesnt happen too often and nothing else and like 3 gorgon dwellings around (best case), what you get is like 12 mighty gorgons by the end of the week? Or 27 when you are late but at what cost? And even then they are not that great for most of the breaks and other fights and opponent will probably will outfarm you, his units will outspeed you or your mighty stack will fall from 1 implo so they will probably not even have a chance to hit anyone in the last fight , maybe just retaliate to some shit onestack before getting rekt by angels and wyvers. This guy has 600+ elo when good players struggle to get over 400 in Hota. Better just listen what he says.

The difference between dendroid and upgraded dendroid is that the upgraded ones have branches pointing forward on top of their heads while the normal ones only have them pointing to the rear
Easiest way to distinct dendroids are looking at feet actually. Upgraded one has nail/finger like structures on their feet that is quite different than the non upgraded one.
Been playing since '99! Recently came back into the game for HotA. I actually quite enjoy the Sea Witches and upgrade and found them quite powerful. Then again, I've been playing a lot of cove considering for me it's one huge new update after almost 20 years xD

Watched the fight where opponent killed 50 titans with cloned cows, then came to listen to the gold at 12:00. Would make a nice montage. Or maybe the rant + all the times cows kill you
Well since we gotta take the template into account: 1. I genuinely understand why M. Genies go into S tier. They are very useful, with high damage, and I guess awesome for early games. However, if you play a longer game, they are very vulnerable and often die too much to be strong. So A tier in those cases. 2. Thunderbirds.. HAHAHA no lightning procc. too true :') I mean I sometimes get the lightning procc, but I think their overall usefullness should push them up to lower S tier maybe. They are core in stronghold, both for shorter games and longer games. 3. Like everyone else I gotta respectfully disagree with mighty gorgons at C :O Yeah sure, if you are playing a short game with scarce recources then the recource silo is an absolute hindrance and they could well be C tier in that case. But otherwise, a solid S. In longer games, in games with many resources etc. In many cases they are just the best tier 5, that's why they cannot be below S alltogether. They are just too good with that stare and general beefiness along with the high defence of beastmasters. 4. Zealots, I dunno, they do a decent chunk of dmg, and reasonably fast. They are fragile as heck ofcource, but I dunno, B tier perhaps. 5. Magma elementals are quite bad, but I would say lower end of C tier. Earth elementals are just atrocious and a pathetic excuse for a creature :D
The high defence of Beastmasters has absolutely nothing to do with the unit itself. Also, what do you mean by Thunderbird usefulness? High speed? Meh. Master genies are the best one-satck in the game, the buffs are ridiculous, Haste, Shield, Counterstrike, Bless, Etc... They make your units like straight up 2 times better in combat if you have master genie one stacks to buff, which is not a big investment at all, they also deal very high damage, they do have low hp but you arent gonna bleeding them often because most of the time they One-hit and thanks to their speed not get hit. Mighty Gorgons are really, really hard to build and are a pretty high investment, in short games it's awful, in long games it's great. Thunderbird should say where it is, Master Genie should also stay, Mighty Gorgons either A Tier or High B tier or maybe even Mid B tier.
@@DOGEreal Sure it has something to do with the unit? You're not ever going to be playing with other heroes when playing foretress, so the defence of the beastmaster is always going to be a factor, as other heroes are a factor for other units. Still, in terms of just the unit itself, it is gonna be way powerful anyway, with or without beastmaster. The only limit as you said is the mighty moos not being that great on small maps. Sure master genies make terrific 1-stacks but for how long are you going to fill your army with 1-stacks untill it is just better with full stacks of other units? I said what I said about Thunderbirds, they are strong, I don't know how anybody could deny that. They have speed, they have hp, they have good attack/decent defence. Their dmg is not the highest, but when they procc lightning bolt they do that extra juicy dmg. Being 20% for 10 extra dmg each thunderbird effectively ups their average dmg by 2, bringing them equal to pit lords and only below minotaur kings. And they can fly. Not their fault they have little backup in other stronghold units.
@@bosspoke No, it has literally nothing to do with the unit, if you see a Tazar in your tavern in early game 99% it will be your main hero, for example, in one game as Conflux I've seen Tazar in my tavern and I've mained him because 1. He rolls for really good skills 2. He levels up into only defense (which is a bit harder to explain why it's good, but it is really good) 3. He has the best speciality in the game, his only downside is that it's possible that he will roll into a bad skill at Level 3, so if I'm playing Tazar Conflux and have a bunch of Earth Elementals which are insanely hard to defeat because of Tazar, would you say that Earth Elementals are S tier?? No, of course not, it doesn't make any sense. I never said that Rocs/Thunderbirds are weak. But actually, you are right on Thunderbirds, they should be top of A tier at least, Minotaur Kings and Master Genies are maybe worse, but Dungeon usually goes for Minotaurs and Tower usually goes Genies, unlike Stronghold which usually goes for Behemoths, I don't know if that should count or no. On Master Genies, you usually go for only ONE Power Stack, Fortress = Wyverns (sometimes Gorgons too) Stronghold = Behemoths (sometimes Rocs too) Castle = Angels (sometimes Crusaders can be a really good side stack) Cove = Nix Warriors (very rarely Sea Serpents or Sea Witches) Rampart = Oof, I'm sorry Rampart, but you suck really really hard, what is that build path??? Inferno = Efreets (sometimes Pit Lords too) Conflux = bruh, that build path, why, just why, but hey! Atleast you made up for it by being a broken faction lol. Necropolis = Skeletons or Vampire Lords, mostly Vampire Lords (and maybe Dread Knights, but if Dread Knights then probably no Skeletons and Vampire Lords). Tower = Master Genies (sometimes Titans too). So one stacks should be able to fit in the army pretty easily.
Wonder how these tier lists compare to what I suppose you could call the developers power ranking. You know how at the end of the game you get a score and gives you a creature as a guide to how good your score is? I believe that tends to favor ranged and flying units somewhat?
AFAIK all elementals were originally level 3 creatures before Conflux was introduced and that is the reason why they don't feel like they belong to their actual level. Their level is rather just to match with town creature tiers to standardize them as a faction but it does not affect their stats balance. So honestly all 4 basic elementals can be considered in Tier 3 list to my opinion, that comparison is obviously unfair here.
A group of Mighty Gorgons inflicted my first significant loss un the game. They gave me such beat down I never forgot since, scarred me for life those mf
Mighty Gorgon is the only unit in the game that can kill a tier 7 in 1 v 1, only for this reason is Broken and ten time better than any other units in this list.
That's a straight up lie lol, 90% of Tier 7 creatures would actually just one shot the MG's before they could even retaliate, and MG's never hit first because of speed.
@@DOGEreal too bad the mighty gorgons are several more in numbers than level 7s and when you encounter them they will never ever be able to destroy the whole stack, after which when the group retaliate they will most likely kill a notable percentage of yours level 7. for example, after 3 week, Fortress has 15 M Gorgons, and Castle has 5 Angel, if he is lucky enogh to make angels is second week. 5 angel can't kill a whole stack of 15 MG And nope, a single lv 7 unit can't one shot a Mighty Gorgons, unless the hero had far better stats.
The internet has a difficulty with grasping the concept of "personal opinion" lol. I'm super sad to see Mighty G's in c tier, but at the same time I totally agree. Super happy to see them in a box, but only get to use them consistently in slow games. For higher paced pvp templates it aint worth it
I'll agree with u about puting Gorgons so low. They are pretty much not worth on jebus template, where most of the games ends with a maximum of 131, and possibility of getting them from box is pretty low. Same as for diplo cause they are horrendous expensive.
everything is okay mighty gorgons must be higher than that, I know you need resources silo, but it is not that bad.. They are Level 7 and Level 6 killer, if you know how use them. Simple, you take retaliatiom with someone and simple kill Level6/Leve7 unit and with masive haste they are very very good, and the tamkyest level5 unit with 70 hp(lvl6 wiverm monarhs have 70hp, cyclop and manticores have 80) and the highest defemse skill of level5 units(higher than some level 6 units cyclop kings, naga q., wyverm m....) They are to powerfull for that low rank.
Yes, that Resource Silo is extremely bad, that Resource Silo immediately makes them not viable on maps like JC which is a big part of HoMM3. A or B Tier IMO.
I would swap gold golems and magma eles. Additionally I would move upg gorgons up because in some games you will find fort - I know it's rng, but still very viable in bigger maps.
I play rather for fun than checking all the game's aspects, but I still like your Tier Lists ;) Will you ever do something like that with Heroes 5 (prefferably Tribes of the East cuz 2 different upgrades)? I play H5 more and it would be nice to see your opinion about the creatures in there.
Mighty Gorgon should be S tier in my opinion, it's ability is just too broken. Would move Minotaur Kings in high A tier too. As much as I love them, they still feel somewhat lacking ability-wise to be put in S tier.
Mighty gorgons are amazing.. for someone who plays like we all did in 99 and 00s. They still are good creatures, but unless someone places their tier 7 creature right in front of a Mgorgon stack, ready to be hit. They are not THE best creature. I would rate them somewhere in the A tier myself.
Hmm pretty interesting. I always thought mighty gorgons pown its tier when I started playing this game back to 1999 but vs AI of course. Pvp, if you have tp and tp your mg? Or haste I dunno
It's not that simple, Haste is banned in most of the popular templates because it's broken, and Teleport is from the worst school of magic, and a cast is a huge deal.
Hey.. Jebus refers to the most popular map template played in multiplayer (Jebus cross, Jebus king, Jebus mirror etc.) usually a fast tempo template where matches are concluded by mid week 2. Kiting, using your units to move enemy units away from your high priority units. I. E. Using dragonflies and keeping them 1 hex away from trees and keep them going back and forth forever while rest of your ranged units kill them
That Mighty Gorgon arguemnts was shit! "Nobody is ever going to build a resource silo" doesn't mean that its not worth the upgrade, Well know ( or should know ) that if Death Stare is one of the best creature-abilitys in the whole game, and they get a C!?
They are terrible anyways. Extremely expensive dwelling and upgraded dwelling and terribly unreliable special ability, that doesn't do much against anything that isn't lvl 7. Just as an example: imaging 6 mighty gorgons attacking 2 champion. Normally, they deal about 80 damage. If death stare triggers (with ~45% chance) they kill one creature in the stack and the result is 1 champion with 100 hp (because this ability only kills the "top" creature in the stack), so their special ability only adds 20 points of damage to their attack in this particular scenario. Generally speaking, the issue lies in specifics of how the effect is applied: 1) death stare prioritises killing the wounded creature in a stack 2) death stare has a limit on how many units gorgons can kill in one attack: up to 10 gorgons cannot kill more than 1, up to 20 gorgons cannot kill more than 2 and so on. Because of this, you kill less units than you would expect from 10% chance.
@@1337STREETFIGHTER But we are not upgrading many things in pvp games, but when we have access to hillfort then root path for tiers 1-5 does not matter.
@@osklii he does use that logic to all units that aren't bought. It's quite simple, the more a unit has going against it, the worse it ranks on his list (from a pvp perspective, usually on fast-paced map templates). To get to the mighty gorgon, you gotta spend 5k extra gold AND skip a build day for resource silo that you could have used on something more productive, whereas other upgraded units are more easily available, so if you were to have a dwelling of said units, being forced into upgrading them wouldn't be as great of a setback, as the mighty gorgon upgrade is. On slow paced maps mighty gorgons are s tier, but only when you have the time to actually invest in them and not be run over by the enemy 2 days earlier than you were preparing for.
are all your tier lists only in reference to pvp? new player here, playing alot of Ai matches on impossible difficulty. iv stack many of these units and had been amazing outcomes
Magmas with their specialist (Erdamon, Thunar) are surprisingly iirc 2nd best in their weekly population damage (only below Mino Lords), it is a unique bonus because it's flat (including +damage), and not based on hero level, how would you rate them when led by a specialist?
You are forced into investing into a hero stuck with estates in order to use them. The only available use case for this would be on a map like 6lm10a where you would potentially want an erdamon/thunar running around with a few magma elementals just collecting mines/resources. The availability of such a squad doesn't really sell them to me anyways. Way too rare :D
Resources silo is definitely hiccup for bulls. I never played against people and noticed that long ago when game was new. Not that Gordon Ramsey is bad unit but to get it is head ache. You have monarch maybe first day +/- you can upgrade 2nd day. But bull upgrade is head ache for sure. Worthy? Yeah, but slow.
Thats where wyvern come into play. Wyvern helps secure needed resources for your gorgon. Its an S tier for me becoz their special ability make lvl 7 creature sh*t themselves, thus, block enemy flyers
Mister noob .. u can see if Dendroid guards are upg version by just looking if they are orientated to the left or right . The ones orientated to the left side of the map are upg ones. Eazy . Now u know ! :P
Yes. When i am in a battle of unupgraded dendroids, the middle stack sometimes starts facing to the right and moonwalks their way over to me, making it easy to tell :)

The beginning of Hota was great, but then they changed too much, like trying to balance too hard, like changing the build requirements for Mighty Gorgons. Pure tragedy.
You are high. Mighty gorgons are incredible. I guess if you are playing a mode where 5k is a make or break amount of gold then I get it, but they are soooo strong.
I have a technical question about master genie: what is the duration of their spell cast? Based on heroes' power, the number of genie, or there is a fixed duration?
Yea, this list only makes any sense if you only play ultra-fast maps. Both mighty gorgons and pit fiends should be S tier on any normal map because they are literally the units that make their respective towns playable, and in the case of Inferno, insanely good. The resource silo requirement is not a good argument, treat it as a tier 7 building (fortress doesn't have a separate t7 unit, their t7 is just an upgrade for a t5 unit, weird). Master genies, on the other hand, are complete trash, you would never want to invest so much into units that are only good as 1-stacks. However, if you can get 40 of them at day 4, then they become good. So you are basically evaluating an external dwelling, not a unit itself.
@@Greaty848484 Nah not useless. These guys whips pretty hard. They're not awfully slow but quite vulnerable. I'd say that puts them at middle/low B-tier.

The video is misleading, it's called H3 hota tier liest but it's in fact a jebus cross tier list which only applies to certain people that play the game giga competitively. Creature tierlists for jebus cross don't even matter because factions don't matter, it's all about farming for outside creatures and often people don't even build their castle. Playing the game on turbo and meeting in the first few weeks with your opponent while taking an hour per turn, boring as shite. If this video was titled properly it wouldn't even have a quarter of the views because noone gives a shite about JB outside like couple thousand enthusiasts tops.
Mighty Gorgons are definitely not C tier though. I guess you should rename this series to PVP relevant Creature Tier List.
An even more suitable name would be "PVP Jebus Cross tier list". And still mighty gorgons would be higher than C tier.
even though he never says it, all of his content is based on pvp, he considers gunnar a tier and estates c tier for those very reasons
@@martinkunev9911 but what a problem getting a resource silo o n jebus cross. you will have more than enough gold.
The Mighty Gorgons are at c normal gorgons are at b
@Kamila Pilichowska my bad i ment mighty c normal b on his tier list.

When you play a random map on impossible difficulty, the Resource silo is quite useful. Especially in towns where it provides special resources but not +1 wood and +1 ore.
not the case for fortress it is wood and ore
It's never useful and worth it, I always play random map and it's completely awful and almost never worth it.
@@DOGEreal maybe bcoz you play in pawn difficulty
The prerequisite to get Mighty Gorgon is a joke yes, otherwise, ability and stat-wise, definitely should be a S tier ^^|| (highest HP, highest Def among all level 5, and one of the best ability too)
I'd argue Mighty Gorgon is worth 10 Resource Silo.
Yes... This guy is just mad!
You HAVE to conclude this series with the tier list tier list
Mighty gorgons are in c tier list because of their price. Come on ... nice joke.
Yeah that one must be a mistake. I though it was a concensus that the gorgon is more of a tier 6 unit than a tier 5 with how strong it is.
Thank you man, I really appreciate it. I knew it something like that.
But this is crazy, the Mighty Gorgon is just amazing by itself.
*fix Mighty Gorgon is a solid A ... at least. Maybe even an S.
Trolls are S tier in the first 2 weeks of the game. Cause you can't really outdamage their healing and kite them well. Especially with low unit counts. Just depends they are strong in numbers 1-5 not 100-500
golden golems: you can cast armageddon from us and it will do minimal damage to us, we are not useless
Lex: C-tier
Shitters: we are immune to armageddon
Lex: D-tier
Upgraded creatures on map face other way than basic version, basic looks to right and upgraded version looks to left.
But the main difference is branches on them back.
In HotA, Dendroid Guards have orange leaves instead of green ones so they look apart from normal Dendroids
And the upgrades "feet" are bigger too.

Mighty gorgons are S tier dude, your tier list is a weak C
Mighty Gorgon annihilates everyone in this list.....
But that building is expensive....

Mighty gorgons C tier, say what?!
My Opinion:
1.Mighty Gorgon
2.Thunderbird
3.Minotaur King
4.Power Lich
5.Zealot
6.Pit Fiends
7.Master Genie
8.Dendroid Soldier
9.Magma Elementals
thats correct but pit lord should be higher in this list and magma elemental is faster than dendroid soldiers so it should be higher
Mine almost the same
Minotaur King instead Thunderbird and Pit Lord instead Zealot.
You forgot about Sea Bitchez
I'll never understand how Auto Combat works, sometimes it throws your units into the chute and sometimes it miraculously makes you win against Minotaur Kings
Watched the fight where opponent killed 50 titans with cloned cows, then came to listen to the gold at 12:00. Would make a nice montage. Or maybe the rant + all the times cows kill you
Minotaur kings are the real dungeon tier 6.
I enjoy the Earth Elementals because they make Deemer and Aislynn feel even better with Meteor Shower :)
Well since we gotta take the template into account:
12:02
If only the resource silo was for a precious resource. Then there would be possibly a reason to get it.
Oh my... HoMM3 activity spiked! Doing a God's work.
From Shitters to Shiny Shitters :-D -You are so much fun to listen to! Keep it up Mr. Dreamer, Stremer, Memer :-D
I always felt like zealots/monks sucked. Now I feel validated by your opinion.
They are special in the way that they belong to Castle, but somehow are not overpowered. (still are very nice for the price, and for being ranged).

5 angel can't kill a whole stack of 15 MG
And nope, a single lv 7 unit can't one shot a Mighty Gorgons, unless the hero had far better stats.

Same as for diplo cause they are horrendous expensive.
i love the way how you say "TIER LIST" :D
It's kinda weird to see Fangarms with such nice ability rooster to be that low and pit fiend that high, same as golden golems.
everything is okay mighty gorgons must be higher than that, I know you need resources silo, but it is not that bad..
They are Level 7 and Level 6 killer, if you know how use them.
Simple, you take retaliatiom with someone and simple kill Level6/Leve7 unit and with masive haste they are very very good, and the tamkyest level5 unit with 70 hp(lvl6 wiverm monarhs have 70hp, cyclop and manticores have 80) and the highest defemse skill of level5 units(higher than some level 6 units cyclop kings, naga q., wyverm m....)
They are to powerfull for that low rank.
Yes, that Resource Silo is extremely bad, that Resource Silo immediately makes them not viable on maps like JC which is a big part of HoMM3. A or B Tier IMO.
See, the Fangarms have always had unlimited retaliations, but they always wipe your memory afterwards. That's how they get you.
I would swap gold golems and magma eles. Additionally I would move upg gorgons up because in some games you will find fort - I know it's rng, but still very viable in bigger maps.

Mighty Gorgon should be S tier in my opinion, it's ability is just too broken.
Would move Minotaur Kings in high A tier too. As much as I love them, they still feel somewhat lacking ability-wise to be put in S tier.
I would just move Might Gorgons to A tier, because still, that Resource Silo is a pretty huge downside, and on maps like JC you never get them.

There is also a branch coming from the back of the soldiers.
Yes, this is one of the very rare HotA changes to unit looks that is actually not terrible.
the mighty gorgons are the best level 5 in the game, pit lords can summon demons but otherwise they are crap, cealords are also brutal
You use some slang I’m not familiar with. What are “kiting” and “jebus”?
Hey.. Jebus refers to the most popular map template played in multiplayer (Jebus cross, Jebus king, Jebus mirror etc.) usually a fast tempo template where matches are concluded by mid week 2.
Kiting, using your units to move enemy units away from your high priority units. I. E. Using dragonflies and keeping them 1 hex away from trees and keep them going back and forth forever while rest of your ranged units kill them
Upgraded units face the opposite direction in the overworld
That Mighty Gorgon arguemnts was shit! "Nobody is ever going to build a resource silo" doesn't mean that its not worth the upgrade, Well know ( or should know ) that if Death Stare is one of the best creature-abilitys in the whole game, and they get a C!?
Mighty Gorgon in C and your explanation is ridiculous also Mighty Gorgon killer of the whole 7 lvl unit
he probably meant pvp games on templates, where actually you just can't buy resource silo in order to win the game xD
I agree. Even if he's right about that them never being bought, that logic should consistently be applied to every upgraded unit that isn't bought
Generally speaking, the issue lies in specifics of how the effect is applied:
1) death stare prioritises killing the wounded creature in a stack
2) death stare has a limit on how many units gorgons can kill in one attack: up to 10 gorgons cannot kill more than 1, up to 20 gorgons cannot kill more than 2 and so on.
Fangrams are OP with the horn of the abyss artifact tho. It's another cloak of the undead king pretty much. This time with melee fighters.

Yea, Lexiav a bit inconsistent.
Pit Fiend at B ? i think you miss clicked that one

False! 10 Mighty gorgons don't always kill an azure dragon as its 10% chance rolled 10 times not 10%x10. And yes, cheesing impossible fights is really cool, but generally super nieche and not worth either chaining the hillfort or buying the dreaded resource silo. At least from my experience! Also liches are often upgraded. It is very easily accessable afterall.
@@Lexiav I said almost always :) 100 mighty gorgons kills in average 10 azure dragons. It can kill 0 and it can kill 100 azure dragons.
@@Lexiav Also I see mighty gorgons power stack in soo many h3dm1 games with Fortress that I strongly disagree that this is C tier. 7 tier dueling? No problem. Hives? No problem. Dragons utopia? Cool meat.
@@fastsync1 Yeah, they're really cool when you can actually get them. Just for me personally they are too gated by their abbysmal build path. :( I can understand why'd you place them higher tho :D
Whats a Jeebus template?
Thank you for reminding me of the true D Tiers once again. Lest we forget, sad moos only in chat
