3 LEAGUE GAMES IN 3 DAYS...
3 LEAGUE GAMES IN 3 DAYS...
3 LEAGUE GAMES IN 3 DAYS...
So on clarification on University Teams, you are ACTUALLY Playing against their B-TEAM for the majority of the high profile Universities. A lot of these Universities Qualify for the Emperors Cup by being the best non J1/2 Team in one of the 47 Prefectures/Regions on Japan. This means they sometimes need to Beat J3/JFL and the best regional Teams to get there. The University League system is more reputable than the regional leagues so their 2nd teams plays in the pyramid whilst the first team plays against the best youngsters many of which in the most famous teams have already signed contracts for J.League teams for when they graduate.
What a comeback! did not see that coming. You got a new J-lease on life
Bloody hell this was like an epic episode of a sports anime
Anyone else noticed Handa for Asuka is also called Genya. Don't know if it's a bug with the same player as our Handa played for Asuka
I believe its the same player, im managing asuka FC and i have the same handa as the one that plays for Tokyo 23. His player history also says he used to play for asuka FC, so must have transferred this winter and the database just has 2 instances of the same player
@@MuteFM They cloned Genya Handa, our Genya is the original.
"i've noticed japanese football teams aren't named after places"
"there's a team called sky earth"
in my experience, those are two of the most well known places.
trubbish, btw. top tier funny little guy.
trubbish
Ow! I just stepped on a Lego. Odd, I don't even own any.
Congratulations on the win, I'm kind of in the same boat where I don't want the early stages to be over so fast, but it would be so cool to succeed at getting promotion immediately. A big thing that sticks out to me is how crushing it must have been to be on Asuka FC, watching the stats, or listening to the radio, or however they keep an eye on the other games, and think you are through, your only threat is down 0-2, only for them to somehow come back with a maddening 5-2 and you are eliminated. The celebration to crushing disappointment... oof.
A Suzuki and a Katayama on the pitch. Is this Japanese non-league or early 90s formula one? 🤔
careful taki inoue they're bringing the physio on
Given the congestion, I'd have looked into finding a system with low tempo and timewasting, simply to spare fitness as much as possible
This is such a good save database, got promoted to J3 last night. Got back to back promotions with Sky Earth. The 3 games in 3 days are mental though
I think I speak for everyone when I ask how much you paid the ref to give that 2nd penalty? I have watched it at least 20 times now, he made a great interception, cleared the ball, then your man came in from behind studs up 2 footed tackle, grabbed a baseball bat and smacked him round the back of the head a few times and the ref was still like " Ohh, you kinda obstructed him there, you denied him a goalscoring chance, that's obviously a penalty, now drag your broken ass leg off this pitch before I give you a red card."
still catching up on the series would have been way quicker but my whole game curropted after installing the japan database but fixed it all man thanks for providing it all
favourite pokemon has to be Gengar
paid way too much for a sweater with him on in Camden, but i love it so it’s fine !
Great episode. Full on roller coaster. Normally I'm always rooting for your teams, but I kinda don't want the first season promotion either. Still bring on the next ep
Never really played Pokemon as a kid, but playing Pokemon Shield with my daughter on Switch lately. I would have to say I like Kingler, he is better than most. I don't play very technical, I just like good attack and good defense.
That last game had me stressed out, can't believe scoring 5 in the 2nd half. The FM writers up to their antics again, lets hope it continues
I can report as a Pokemon Go player that kingler is a decent attacker. He is a bit of a glass cannon.
@@2forked737 I think that his hyper cutter passive is super useful, I just know it blocks some statuses, so that is neat.
@@Duncansigurdsson I’m a simpler man than yourself. We just press buttons and give money to niantic in Pokemon Go really, I’m not sure about the switch game. I agree with you btw, one of his best videos, can’t believe he got through when he was 2-0 down.
@Duncansigurdsson I can confirm Hyper Cutter is a great ability for Kingler especially for any pokemon with intimidate
Every time I see Otaki's profile picture, I think to myself, I bet he records Konbini Confessions when he doesn't have to train.
I feel like he should have a permanent red sad face in the game engine, seems wrong when he has any other emotions
Wins 5-2, tells the team he's furious... what?!
was playing a game yesterday. we had 27 shots, 18 on target 3.6 xg and lost 1-0 to their only shot which was a 30 yard first time screamer from their 4 goal a season 37 year old striker
What a rollercoaster that was, already loving the series! And as much as I love english lower leagues, its a welcome change to see something different before we dive in again in fall
just done this league myself and it was absolutely grueling for my players. Qualified as the best second place, and then won the final stage to get in to the JFL. Its a massive jump though. Keep up the great videos jack!
Damnn sir, I'm currently managing Wakkanai FC from div 6 and won the promotion to div 5. I lost TWICE againts that particular Tokachi Sky Earth in the Hokkaido Soccer League lmaoo
Chandelure is my favourite. Thought it was dumb when I first saw it, then used one and grew to love it
Great comeback-couldn’t have written that script any better!
Mareep mate.
And that 3rd game was mental for the heart rate
Wow, Japanese lower league is proven to be the most mental leagues to play ever. Not just fighting against other 9 champions but also fighting for two promotions spot when four teams remain while if those second in the group will fight against a 4th tier club who is closing to relegation. In the end, this is was a hardcore league to play in Football Manager.
What an episode. What a shuckle.
I get that reference 😂
my favorite pokemon is psyduck
Favourite Pokemon is Bulbasaur. He was my first stater as a kid playing Pokemon Red on Christmas Day.
Also, his is literally No. 1 😅
Petition for Jack to say, " He's got wagyu in his veins" when someone scores( Its one of the most expensive types of beef in the world and its from Japan)
👇
Great episode. The whole 3 games in 3 days thing seems designed to threaten you with injuries in FM.
Bulbasaur! No.1 in the Pokédex for a reason!
I thought you'd thrown it away changing the system game 2 only for it to backfire on you!!
That was so clearly self inflicted -- had he drawn there and the drama would be so much less
Love this series 😂 what a headache the league/cup structures are
Hokkaido is a rural area. I wonder how much harder it would be outside Tokyo
I downloaded the database and I’m managing Joyful Honda, super fun so far.
I played against your club Tokyo 23 and all their defenders were injured so they played down a man 😂😂 crazy high scoring game too. Lower league nonsense lol
What a roller coaster! Love it!
Also, Snorlax is my favourite.
Admittedly I only been watching since the start of the Guernsey save however the game against J-league is probably my favourite park to prem match I was cheering at the TV when the third went in
Insane final game!! Loving this series so far
Jack. There's one thing you need to do is to sign Tyler Forbes 😂
Rockruff!
I hope you get a match against my Avispa Fukuoka during the save.
What an episode! Also Cyndaquil!
Question about the Shakaijin Cup:
Say a team finishes bottom of their league, but is one of the three to go the furthest in the Shakaijin Cup, what would happen? Are they promotion playoff, or relegated?
Promoted… if they win the promotion regional group and then the champion group
I was stressed just watching that! Good luck in the next phase, and I dont know any pokemons other than Pikachu :)
What a roller coaster that last match was!
Well done! That last game looked very stressful 😂
My favorite pokemon is by far Infernape
Loving the series keep up the good work
To Quote Willy Wonka "The suspense is terrible, I hope it lasts" XD
I just finished binging the FM22 park to prem series: that team was so out of this world that watching tokyo23 right now makes it look like the game is broken 😂
I’m 55 so I don’t have a favourite Pokémon. But my favourite Womble is Great Uncle Bulgaria.
OG Pokemon its clearly Nidoking!
You and Asuka both have strikers called Genya Handa, confused the hell outta me lol
like someone else in the comments mentioned they are the same player lmao
Ganbatte, Tokyo23!
High-school tournament arc!
My favorite pokemon? Well, tough question it isn't!
"190 cm of Japanense meat"..... Pause
I like Gengar, thanks for the amazing content as always Jack
Favourite Pokémon is cubone! Followed closely by jolteon
That was a great match, but a borderline horrendous refereeing performance
Lucario
What a great playoff run!
Raichu! Let's go Tokyo 23
high intensity tactic when playing 3 games in 3 days?
Asuka FC is pronounced uska fc fyi
Pachirisu
Ouuu a man with taste of the finer things in life
Absolute madness! 😂
It somehow feels weird that Jack has a girlfriend after going on about all his meaty players.
My favourite pokémon: Jolteon
Favorite pokemon, Pikachu of course
Always liked Staryu
Jack learning from Juve?
Day 250 of praying that another Super Mario will rise and shine in Japan (Mario is technically japanese after all) within this new awesome save and for Jack to actually sign him this time!
most liked pokemon, its gotta be Charizard
Favourite pokemon is glalie!
Top episode 👏🏼 favourite Pokémon is Gyarados 💦
I was wondering how the heck you're on the verge of promotion from that level in your first season, then I noticed your bank balance graph, where you've burned through half a million in a year; that's like five or six times as much as the Scottish League One team I'm playing. Is there that much money in Japanese lower leagues, or is this just a "go big or go bankrupt" strategy?
Oh, and I don't play Pokemon, sorry.
Japanese football has very good investment and long way down, they have the second largest professional football structure in the world behind England. There’s lots of trickle down money that lower teams get but I certainly went big this year in the end
Fav Pokemon has to be Eevee :)
Snorlax rules.
Slowking or Lugia for me
My favourite pokemon is Alakazam
Haikyuu type episode!!!
Tyranitar
My favorite pokemon is Snorlax because I look idetical like him
Obstagoon
Load is THE best
Squirtle
Snorlax for the win!
What's a pokemon?
Charizard. Always Charizard
Spiffy!
cyndaquil
Regice
Skin?
Who's Pokeman?
ABSOL
Pikachu!
Miltank!
Charizard
Would just like to say I am that guy
