Shibuya City are in the seventh division in the Tokyo Metro League, They have New Era as their sponsor and have J.League aims. probably have a similar budget to tokyo 23 IRL. They must have qualified from the Shakaijin Cup. Whilst in real life they can get promoted, even I am not sure how the FM Engine will process if they get promoted. Veroskronos used to be called J.FC Miyazaki who i watched against Tegevajaro Miyazaki when they were both in JFL back in 2016/17. J.FC got relegated and then changes their name hoping to be the best team from Miyazaki again. Tegevajaro now play in J3. Sendai Univ. is a big university though. they have their main team and 3 yes THREE teams that play in Level 5/6 and 7 on the pyramid. So it is actually quite a tough group
Question: If a team from the seventh division can jump directly to the fourth that would mean one more team from the fith has to go down to the sixth to make space for the one that comes down from the fourth. How is it decided which team from the nine leagues gets demoted? Or does one of the promoted team from the sixth division lose their promotion spot? (I hope that made sense 😀)
@@raisti it's dynamic promotion/relegation in real life since if 0 teams get promoted to J3 then it is the current system. If 1-2 teams get promoted them only 0-1 teams get relegated from jfl which means the automatic promotion into jfl increases. Also if a team of relegated from the jfl is a kanto team then the relegated teams from Kanto are reduced and vice versa.
Are you sure you're not confusing Sendai University (in Shibata) with Tohoku University (in Sendai)? Because I wouldn't call Sendai University that big of a university here.
@@aerox21091991 in terms of football it is much bigger than tohoku university in terms of player ability, although its the other way around for high schools.
FC La Universidad de Sendai have its name because there are many teams from the same university. They also have FC Sendai University and Sendai Universität as different teams as well

Crushed to see you miss promotion, excited for the away days we would have missed otherwise, and extremely excited to see how FM will process a 3 division jump like that. So I desperately need you to show us that whenever next season starts.
YT algorithim things today as this wasn't in my feed. Popping in a comment. Really getting into this series. Getting the most out of players with mainly bad attributes is always good fun.

The chant for Yusei Iida has to be (to the tune of 'Lets Call the Whole Thing Off') Yusei Iida, I say either You say neither and I say neither Either, Iida, neither, neither He scores the goals that send us up
if someone would show me the clip for the 2nd saved pen, before I started playing fm, I couldn't believe that being a genuine reaction my love hate relationship with the game proved to me that, well, it's relatable
Is this a Doctor Benjy save? Jokes aside. Keep going strong. You already know your group and will gonna improve the team for next season, so there's only better times to come.
It seems that most (or all) of the other team's players are in 0 wages per week, maybe it is under pay as you play contract. Probably that is how the league operates, dunno if it is more sustainable that way
I usually make a decision based on the injury severity with injections, Ive had incidents before when injecting a player can injure them to the point of early retirement.
With how much you've hyped up the difficulty of getting promoted, getting promoted in the first season would be a bit of a let off. Let's do it all over again next season! And has Otaki earned at least a backup spot for next year?
the end you deserve for letting down rugby fans waiting for a treble in the previous save... this is poetic justice... still watching and liking though.
How were Shibuya's players totally fresh in the final game? Tiny squad who've just played 2 games in 4 days and everyone has a full green heart? Wonder if this is FM cheating or if they played a totally different XI previously, investigate this Jack!
Jack can't you try and steal players from teams like Shibuya City who are much better than you but not in an actual league and offer them paid contracts? Like i think I saw the players on Shibuya City on non-contracts
Day 251 of praying that another Super Mario will rise and shine in Japan (Mario is technically japanese after all) within this new awesome save and for Jack to actually sign him this time!
"Say it with me, 190 centimetres of Japanese meat" will forever be a WTS classic.
Jack at the beginning of this season: Only 1 of the hundred something teams in this division will be promoted.
Shibuya City: Hold my Sake
“A 190 centimeters of Japanese meat.”

that Lion King commentary was top tier Jack bud lol
The commentary in this episode is amazing 🤣

🎶Shibuya ya ya Shibuya roll call🎶
Jack gonna build a japanese galacticos team to destroy the japan non league division next season

Loving the series, don't usually comment but dropping one for the algorithm!
BEST EPISODE EVER, and I've seen a lot of parktoprem, this is nuts. I felt like screaming too at the end
This league is mad!!! This is awesome you have to continue with this save game. Small request, please do an away day at the club home stadium🙏🏾
That playoff structure is the common US Youth Tournament 😂😂😂 1 game on Friday. 2 on Saturday and Sunday and Finals on Monday.

I don't know what would be more painful, failing at the last hurdle or getting punted straight back down after a season of losses
Jack’s pain and suffering is always worth a like
Heartbreaking! Key injuries popped up at playoff time. Better luck next season!
Anyone who doubted how interesting this Japan save would be is eating it right now, I've never seen so much drama in back to back episodes
One of the best episode ever for sure, looking forward for next seasons brutal gauntlet 🎉
I'm about 99% sure that Maeda isn't a real footballer, you just stuck on a mannequin with the Tokyo 23 kit on and a smiley face
I LOVE you, this series, this episode
i just love, love
That was as close as being pipped by Liverpool for the Premiership in the Rugby save!! 😢
Liking the video
Feeding the algorithm.
Loving the series.
Tbf you walk every division, every year in FM park to prem, so find it a nice change to be working for it
Just finished the last episode coming on to this one. This is getting amazing
Good run this season...Let's see what can be done for the next!! Can't wait to see the transfers.
Absolutely classic episodes the last 2 days Jack! Sorry you could not get promoted but the video's are great
Jack, props to doing it. Japan definitely has that championship feel... And guess what! Next week the Euro's start! So it's a nice transition!

Heroics from Ataki, imagine if he was Defendi
This series already a classic

Yusei Iida, I say either
You say neither and I say neither
Either, Iida, neither, neither

I second this.
as this played out I remember Jack saying, “it’s possible to sit deep in fm24”

my love hate relationship with the game proved to me that, well, it's relatable
It's even tougher after being a top team but what a season given your start
This was Jack’s shibuya incident.
That was gutting. The only redeeming part is it was better than season predictions
If there’s one thing Brits don’t like it’s a disorderly queue. Very disrespectful play by Shibuya City
Well we all know that Jack isn’t a JJK anime fan with his struggles with saying Shibuya
Is this a Doctor Benjy save?
Jokes aside. Keep going strong. You already know your group and will gonna improve the team for next season, so there's only better times to come.
What would make you feel even worse is: “Shibuya City sign Jaime Guerrero” 😂
Will be interesting to see how the finances balance out over the off season.
That was immense, next year bro👊
Love the series! Next year is the year Jack! ❤
"wheel yourself back in Jack" 🤣
Need you to be more like Netflix…can’t handle waiting give me the whole season now!!!! 😂

Suzuki - Big in Japan
It seems that most (or all) of the other team's players are in 0 wages per week, maybe it is under pay as you play contract. Probably that is how the league operates, dunno if it is more sustainable that way
3rd out of 130+ and not promoted is brutal
I blame it on not activating the standing desk
WHAT AN END THAT WAS absolutely amazing
Why would you not inject Ota?, these games seem like one of the few times that warrant injecting an injured player
just seen you do inject Suzuki, making me understand it even less
I usually make a decision based on the injury severity with injections, Ive had incidents before when injecting a player can injure them to the point of early retirement.
@@WorkTheSpace tbf, maybe I am a psycopath, but I would trade a promotion for a player's career

Great episodes 😭😭
Okay End of season in fifth tier Japan is nerve wracking.
I was shouting at you to inject Ota 🤣

What an episode!
amazing episode. The drama😮
I need a beer after this episode... 😞
Greatt videoo todayy❤
Jack do you think anyone in your current squad has a chance of matching the oldest boy in football kazayuchi muira
Some of the penalties you've conceded in recent games have been dodgy as all hell. So glad Otaki has been having none of it.
ABSOLUTE CINEMA
Those finances don't look too healthy 😂
Moneywise it seems to be a bit of a pickle coming on... Last year the club had 250k in december. Now they have -150...
I hope Maeda is never seen again
It would have been too easy if you got promoted in your first season
the end you deserve for letting down rugby fans waiting for a treble in the previous save... this is poetic justice... still watching and liking though.
The Japanese leagues are incredibly fun while also having fixture congestion that's bad enough to qualify as a human rights violation
what a banger!
Can you play Shibuya in this pack?
