I did an Napoli save where I forgot to buy a backup keeper after i forgot to renew Meret’s contract and let Gollini go back to Atalanta. He did so well that by the time Trubin came back from injury, Anel had only let 4 goals in that season, so I kept him in goals. To make things better, he won serie a player of the season after only conceding 20 goals…and he somehow scored 4 goals and got 12 assists…bro just started cooking in goals for my 24/25 season

That own goal at 4.27 is actually similar to something that’s happened in real life. Look for “Bjarte Flem own goal” or “Bjarte Flem selvmål” (in Norwegian). The story goes that Flem, the gk of top-tier side Tromsø, was about to start a quick counter-attack by throwing the ball to a teammate. But he realized mid-throw that an opposition player was blocking his throw, so he hesitated and tried to pull back - and he accidentally ended up throwing the ball in his own net instead. The game ended 1-1.

Or the immortal message: Miguel Arteta/Julian Nagelsmann/Jurgen Klopp, manager of [some big club] was in the stadium in your last match. Rumors say he's interested in signing some of your players: and then it list all 11 of your starters.
In my save Sean Dacha takes Salertina to winning Italy Super Cup, Seria A, Copa Italia, Europa league and champions league in a span of 5 years. he retired as their legend
Not Football Manager but around 1996/7/8 sort of time on a football management game I can't remember which but a player of mine died in a car crash. It was Clive Wilson at Spurs. Just had a news pop up and carried on as usual.
Championship Manager, also made by SI and the precursor to FM.
I have a backup keeper in my Benfica save who has 19 penalties and 18 decisions,,, I sub him on to take penos if they are late in the game, resulting in him getting crazy ratings, for example 10 appearances, 10 clean sheets, 9 goals…
Reading rebuild when tom???
I once spotted a regen come through the Chelsea ranks called Jimmy Saville. Not James Saville, Jimmy Saville 😂
I had a player named Saturday Friday.
Lollujo (Kevin Chapman) had Saturday Sunday in his latest Non-League to Legend save.
I had one Regen in Lens who was already bald at his 16th birthday and sproting a great moustache, whose name was Mamadou Girard (he was white)
In my old saves i tryed to sign some promising african players. Sometimes the price is aroud 10-50€. Its funny because if you want to give them the money, they negotiate the offer to ~80€.
And then i offer 60€ with 30 mill in the bank. Do you think i throw the money out of the window?
In my save, in December 2023, Man City were 7th in the table and sacked Guardiola. Then they appointed Dahm from Bayern. Guess where did Guardiola go? Yes, Bayern. They literally had a manager swap.
One save I had had Klopp being sacked from Liverpool and then they hired Pep to take over. Then Klopp was taken on as Man City manager! FM is bonkers at times!
that's genuinely most saves I played in FM22
Not necessarily funny, at the time I was raging, but on FM21 I took Aston Villa to the semi finals of the Europa League where I met Sean Dyche’s Leeds United. I was unbeaten in the competition and hadn’t even drawn a match, beat them 2-1 in the first leg and assumed it was in the bag that I was going to the final. Lost 8-0 to them at Elland Road in the second leg giving them the win 9-2 on aggregate.
I have watched turkey just win the World Cup with arda guler not even playing in the finals, wtf
This is an arda. Guler who can second in world best player last year. Scoring 22 goals and 25 assist. Fairly lost to Harland who scored 54 goals.
Also how has haaland won 5 golden balls despite man city doing nothing
And Liverpool coming 17th despite Wirtzs playing with Xabi Alonso as manager
This is only 2030
For once I'm completely innocent. If anything Bergkamp is the homewrecker 😂🥺
There really is a real life Jizz Hornkamp playing for Heracles Almelo in Holland
Cant believe my DR Congo one had the perfect partner post to come before it😂
I had a season a few years back where Iceland won the world cup
As a Congolese dude I need both those DR Congo results IRL 💀💀💀
The more i watch fm the more i see my local team telstar in it. Today Tom sayed telstar right for a uk person!
I still play CM0304 occasionally and once saw a striker who scored a hat trick get a rating of 1.
i had Chevalier, Mamardashvili and Slonina all injured so I had to play 16 year old regen Jack Porter in the fa cup and ucl just days before 16 year old Jack Porter played for arsenal in the efl cup 😭
