I love how you've gone from a typical FM creator to now making an irl documentary, having a podcast with Julian Gressel and you run marathons for fun. Mucho respect.
This actually happened in Turkey! Now defunct Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor in Turkey's top flight Süper Lig was relegated at 17th place to the country's second division First League and played in the Europa League (formerly UEFA Cup until 2009) with being runner up in the Turkish Cup giving them this oppurtunity, after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-2 in aggregate, they faced Atleti... losing 9-0 in aggregate in the play-offs.
Would love to see how much of a difference a perfect goalkeeper would make. Guessing you'd struggle more without the ability to win games outright, but curious how far can you get by just not allowing the opposition to score?
Honestly what iterests me the most is what position he would play if he were natural at all positions. Would he be a Libero CB, would he be a Box to Box freak, or an Advanced forward...
In a bad team I think it's okay to put him alone up top as a CF-At in like a 4141 or 541 type scenario, just putting his whole team back in defense and kicking out to him. In a good team he's an AM-At all day long. Don't give him to many instructions, just put him towards the top and let him do his thing. If I had two of him they are playing CB side by side and locking it down, then probably getting 25 goals between the two on set pieces. Well, maybe one as Libero-Su in a back 3 and the other up top. Or just side by side up top in a 532. You can do whatever at that point.
I feel like this is something I should write down on a postcard and mail it back to last week when you would have given a f**k but you should have given him US Virgin island nationality, that way you could run a kinda double experiment and see if he can also carry a terrible national team to any glory.
Do this as a series With a different position for the best player each time i.e attack midfield defence goalie Them final episode will be all the positions and then also a perfect manager
@@TheRasyah23 can you set it so that they never fire or transfer the manager too? If so then that would be cool to simulate. Also, trying thesame with just a perfect manager that is locked to the team, and then finally do it with a full perfect XI + manager.
The only guys to ever win a golden boot over Leonard Messi are mbappe, Endrick, and Haaland, and the only one to do so convincingly was Haaland. He has always won highest average rating, and has set multiple goal contribution records.
A Ryan Hardie sighting as the second top goal scorer in League One. Back in FM14 when Rangers was in Scottish League 1, Ryan Hardie was a beast. One of my favorite players in m first ever successful FM save.
As a Dulwich Hamlet fan I loved seeing them beat Dover! In the 22/23 season Dulwich were one place above Dover and three points ahead with Dover in the final relegation spot. Dover won and Dulwich lost their game in injury time for Dulwich to get relegated on goal difference. This felt like vindication.
It would be interesting to see whether a perfect player in other positions can have a similar impact! I'm picturing a keeper with perfect stats who keeps all the clean sheets but also ends up being the designated set piece taker and scoring/assisting a bunch of goals.
I've done experiments like that in older formats, CM4 if I'm not mistaking my dates, and the biggest issue was not conceding from 70 yards away when the keeper fails the freekick, specifically when the opposite keeper clutches it or the barrier stops it, since both scoring and making the ball go through the byline make it safe. But the keeper will score ungodly amounts of goals from freekicks and penalties, and it's hilarious to see him run back when he misses.
Have you seen the Conference League trophy? It has 32 spokes up the sides to represent the 32 teams in the group stage... the group stage that lasted for just 2 years before the 36 team league phase was introduced
Loved it! Love these types of videos, And wasnt an happy ending which was unexpected, Unlike those jake videos where after the rebuild everythings always perfect 🤦🏻😂
Could you do the same but have a player from each position in different clubs and see how far they can get their teams? I think the GK would be the least successful but it would be interesting to see how much difference there is between having a good GK or a good CB
i could never decide when doing this, is 20 for aggression is good? don't you want agression to be low so they dont get booked or sent off? also can you edit personal things like, attitudes and injury prone in the background too?
Despite the fact that FM25 is delayed we're still sticking to the release window schedule of releasing experiment videos about locking perfect players in non League.
Just a heads up…you should learn what is meant by the “first half” and “second half”. The first 45 minutes of a match are the first half, you can’t say “right before the the first half” for something that happens during the first half, you probably mean “before half-time” or “towards the end of the first half” and when you say “right after the first half” you probably mean “after half time”
Him switching to England is the only issue with this video. Bolivia could’ve had the chosen one
They wouldn't have done much with him tho
Even if he scored a hattrick every game idk if Bolivia has a good enough defence to win something
He was Nigerian originally smh
This is all I wanted, I tried to give Bolivia a chance
@@d4v1do AFCON mid-season tournament would have messed with the video I think
Shouldve made his injury proneness 1
was thinking the same yeah..

Feels like I'm watching my football career once again
You were perfect until that knee injury. Shame
kane is that you ?

Born to be modern day Pelé on steroids. Forced out of football due to injuries. Feels bad.
Anyone notice the heroism of Derby to get relegated in the final season and yet still get Europa league football the following year....
Wigan and Birmingham did that before lol

There's nothing funnier than seeing that he's joining Real Madrid in the year 2100 when his contract runs out.
florentino perez's showing his patience
About 60 years after retirement too, Penaldo and Pessi could never...
Would love to see how much of a difference a perfect goalkeeper would make. Guessing you'd struggle more without the ability to win games outright, but curious how far can you get by just not allowing the opposition to score?
That'd be fun, I think
I think WorkTheSpace has a video on that. Turns out the impact is actually fairly significant
Honestly what iterests me the most is what position he would play if he were natural at all positions. Would he be a Libero CB, would he be a Box to Box freak, or an Advanced forward...
Probably a CAM or CM
In a bad team I think it's okay to put him alone up top as a CF-At in like a 4141 or 541 type scenario, just putting his whole team back in defense and kicking out to him. For England he starts as a winger but in real life probably CAM
His back was breakin too many times cause of how hard he caried the Dover Athletic
Hence the slip disc
Yeovil did a good job of keeping pace with Dover's promotions for a little while
When your Premier league team is facing a sunday league side 1st round. but they got superhuman Haaland lab experiment.
No other game gives you goosebumps like FM ...I was in the crowd when Messi bagged that european final equaliser
23:45
i think i would have died laughing if Messi was the one to miss his pen
I can’t have been the only one that was secretly wishing this 😂😂
Genuinely quite funny is in the 2nd season Crawley and Crewe have been relegated from League 2 to the NL. They were in the play off final IRL in 23/24
Leonard Messi playing the Conference League Final on a broken ankle like: "I PUT DA TEAM ON MY BAAAAACK DUUUU"
22:37 Liverpool, Derby and West Ham relegated, but Derby win a cup LOL
Be interesting to know of the manager changes throughout this run.
Oh that's the simulation of Niran's career if he didn't have that discombobulating knee injury!
real one
An unsung hero is Yeovil Town because it also got back-to-back promotions and three points away from the League 2 playoffs at the start.

Liverpool getting relegated was the highlight for me

So basically Tsubasa on Nankatsu...
S tier reference

The Hidden Grounds trailer should have been called ‘British pub lads go abroad and challenge the world!’
Hearing a football club referred to as ‘it’ rather than ‘they’ sounds so strange to me
You are an incredibly gifted creator, very engaging and entertaining! Love your work!
Liverpool battling relegation and Everton winning the Prem. What hellscape is this!!?
Liverpool relegated. Kill me.
Maybe after this, the legend of leonard messi can become a perfect manager for dover and bring the european glory? It is definitely possible, right?
No one does better FM story telling than Zealand
Usually not a fan of the perfect player/manager/facilities videos because they are kind of predictable and dumb, but you did it well at least.
A Ryan Hardie sighting as the second top goal scorer in League One. Back in FM14 when Rangers was in Scottish League 1, Ryan Hardie was a beast. One of my favorite players in m first ever successful FM save.
Seeing a hidden grounds for the magpies while I'm doing a build a nation with the magpies is gonna be amazing to watch 🥰🥰🥰
That final season is wild. Liverpool relegated, Derby relegated while also making the Europa League, City in 9th after Haaland presumably retired

Leonard Fraud
Leonard Pessi. He should do the next of these with his greatest rival in football, Christopher Ronaldo.
The really funny thing is, of those 13 goals at 01:45, you can basically guarantee they're all rebounds from his own chances or chances created too 😂
super excited for hidden grounds!
Do you adjust his hidden attributes to 20 or 1 too?
Your story telling is amazing! :)
Nelson Weiper sticking with the perfect player in multiple seasons! my Goat
Can’t believe I’ve seen my home town pop up in a Zealand video as one of Leonard’s past clubs
Have you seen the Conference League trophy? It has 32 spokes up the sides to represent the 32 teams in the group stage... the group stage that lasted for just 2 years before the 36 team league phase was introduced
If i was on his team i would stat pat those assist like my life depended on it .
Videos like this is why Zealand is the GOAT
Would love to see this again, with the weakest team in Europe and see how the club and country would build around the perfect player
I would have liked to see leonard play together with his equally talented twin brother. If one is injured, the other could carry the team.
Should’ve went a further 5/10 seasons further ahead to see how Dover would’ve coped without him.
Good wee video though 👍🏻
Bro out here not realising we were doing this exact same thing on Championship manager almost 30 years ago...
This was the saddest and most beautiful story ever

Congrats on scoring your first Goal for Brentford Zealand
An American who calls the beautiful game football? You just got a subscriber!
would be interesting to see the same with players of other positions. I'm pretty sure good defenders can be stuck in ELO hell
I would've really liked to see the team he played with at the end. Great video nevertheless!
If you do something like this again could you simulate a couple of seasons after the legend leaves to see how the club fares?
We love you Zealand we do, we love you Zealand we do, oh Zealand we love you! ❤
8:17 This guy is 6'2" and 143 lbs? Are they keeping him imprisoned or something?
i could never decide when doing this, is 20 for aggression is good? don't you want agression to be low so they dont get booked or sent off? also can you edit personal things like, attitudes and injury prone in the background too?
1:23 I follow tonbridge home and away, Dover are one of our biggest rivals - seeing them smash us 5-1 is not nice 😂
The most unrealistic thing about this whole simulation is England winning the World Cup
Forget Dover, all I can notice is said 100m a year Ipswich finishing in the european places
I love these original ideas!
Can't help but feel his hidden attributes can't be perfect, too
Man is really bagging goals like he’s playing Fifa player career mode
Bro's just 2018-19 Messi
Please make a follow up with him picking up on this team as a perfect manager!! Please 🥺
Drinking game: take a drink everytime he says "Leonard Messi"
Zealand singing his loan song after talking about a regen named Sam Smith is somewhat on point.
Would be interesting to find out how big a ground Dover ended up with by the end of those 15 years.
Despite the fact that FM25 is delayed we're still sticking to the release window schedule of releasing experiment videos about locking perfect players in non League.
Should've made him San Marinian...maybe they could complete the impossible challenge whilst you sim :P
What I want to see is a perfect staff and a starting team of all 1s. How many years until they are able to train and trade to win the Premier League?

“This mateo Joseph guy” if only he knew
can't believe he betrayed the bolivian people like that
this kind of proves how good messi's 91 goal season is
This was such an exciting video
I need to see the same thing with Christian Ronald who can’t get injured
Rumor is Cyril Ronalds is Leonard Messi's rival
Every time he says Leonard messi = drink
Would be nice to see the next year after he retires, and see if Dover can stay up without him
Sevilla can't be stopped

He said only league games
It would be cool to see the next 15 seasons without him to see if Dover can maintain its position in the pyramid!
