if a player wants a release clause when you talk to their agent about their contract there is an option to say to the agent that you think it would be best if no terms were locked and everything was negotiable. its works a lot for me and lets you remove and exclude a release clause that would otherwise be orange and they will usually respond with asking for a higher wage
Yeah 100% - remove and exclude from negotiations before contract. Sometimes still comes up but can try get around it. Give them a new contract every year before transfer windows until you can get rid of it
Ah, Andy Harwood. Always pops up (one of the regen names hardcoded in the game as i think he works on the game). Seems to often be a great player, usually a LB...
Omfg 9:20 that's my favourite club up top! For some reason PEC Zwolle always does better in FM than in real life, probably because the attributes of the players are good but irl it just doesn't gel haha Would love to know if they managed to stay there if the VVV save person reads this comment haha
I have to say tho, this makes PEC one of the most but also least fun saves I do every FM cause irl they struggle and they're in like 16th place and you wanna "save" them in the video game but it's way too easy to just accidentally get top 4 with the exact same players lmao Not to mention the youth rating is high for a club like PEC so that's also an extra gateway for talent and it's just too easy sometimes xD
Excellent episode, one of the best in SYS. Touches on a lot of issues at a semiadvanced level that are often overlooked. Also: "If you are not insecure financially you're not trying" Kind of true 😅 especially in some lower income leagues.
Saw the second guy and immediately thought he needed a big dose of eastern european wonderkids. I've had so much success finding wonderkids from eastern Europe (the Balkans especially) with Strasbourg when I didn't have the financial power to go for those golden spoon wonderkids.
You are losing guys to 70M clauses? Try managing in a smaller country and see how your top players get poached for peanuts. Takes a lot of negotiation for something to go over 10M.
The best way I have found to keep your best players at the club is to give them an appraisal every June. Renew their contract give them a 10-20% appraisal. They always end up signing and it deters other clubs to pay their release clause
Life is random sometimes, I was actually learning about South Tyrol recently and its history! The first language there is mostly German and not Italian. Its arguable it shouldn't even be part of Italy. But thats a debate for another time somewhere else.
The surname Harwood is the coolest surname in the English language and it also makes me think of the Battle of river Plate since the three British cruisers in that battle were commanded by Comodor Henry Harwood and he was able to fore the German panzerschiff Admiral Graf Spee flee to the port of Montevideo and later he managed to fool the captain of Admiral Graf Spee to believe that British battlecruiser HMS Renown and aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal had arrived to blockade Admiral Graf Spee in Montevideo which resulted capetin Langsdorff scuttling his ship
Funnily enough in EVERY SAVE there is a English/Swedish Leftback, usually from Malmo, who’s named „Andy Harwood“ 😂. Maybe someone working at SI, a little „easter-egg“.
I have similar problems with my local team Fremad Amager in the danish super league. I have won the trophy 16 years in a row, and get to at least UCL Quarter Finals every year. But as soon a one of the bigger clubs comes knocking, my players refuse to stay. And The clubs generally are NOT paying me 70 mill. ... often waaaay less. But I have found that most of them are willing to give me 40-50% profit sell on clause. So I grab those, and hope that Liverpool can sell in the player for 200 mill. later. Also I have found that the American Academy system (all amateurs) is a literal goldmine, The amount of money I have made from scouring the academy clubs there and stealing the best/most promising players, have probably netted me more cash than any wonderkid I have ever gotten my hands on. By now, I have most likely poached over 50 young players from there, and made several hundreds of millions of dollars on them. If you are a smaller club, and have the possibility to send scouts there, then find all the academy clubs and get team reports on them. You will find so many high potential players for free, and most would probably like to go to smaller clubs around the world.
Maybe not so mush a wonderkid treasure trove, but a pool of decent players with potential are MLS academies. If you go to MLS academies and check out their 18yr olds and up, you usually can sign them on frees with very little if NO compensation to the MLS club. My save now I started at St Albans and moved to St VV in Belgium and both my starting CB's are from MLS academies. Plus I just sold another academy CB for $30 mil. My starting right back is from a MLS academy and he's close to $20 mil value. MLS academies are like cheat mode. Even if you are a lower leaguel club, they generally want to leave for almost any club abroad.
Love the videos, but I have a genuine question: Do you plan on changing your logo & face packs anytime soon? I assume it comes from around 2020, since Inter Milan still has the old logo and Cole Palmer has his photo from Manchester City days. Quite a time has passed, therefore comes my suggestion.
I think people don't have patience and want to win everything right away, it took me 18 seasons with Cliftonville before winning my first Champions League
I searched high and low and couldn't find anywhere where it keeps track of how many foreign wonderkids you have already signed and what the cutoff date is for said year. Especially in the first season this is confusing as did it count those made by the club before I loaded the save or not? How does it count future transfers? Etc. Anyone know? Makes managing England in the first year especially a bit of a pain.
Just curious, but is there way to success in late fm without stockpiling wonderkid? I just think it not really fun and interesting to stockpile regen wonderkid.
I swear Swidersky always end up being really good or really bad in my saves, I never managed to have one where he was just decent Great player for inferior leagues tho
My way is the editor. I know it's questionable way and not for everyone, but when finally the Board decides to sell my wonderkid (no release clause), i move him back to my club. When Board cheats, I cheat too.

True! I always pick this option beforehand because they wouldn't accept no release clause afterwards
Yeah 100% - remove and exclude from negotiations before contract. Sometimes still comes up but can try get around it.
Give them a new contract every year before transfer windows until you can get rid of it
I always remove ALL promises too. Don't remember a player ever having a problem with it.
Ah, Andy Harwood. Always pops up (one of the regen names hardcoded in the game as i think he works on the game). Seems to often be a great player, usually a LB...
Yeah, if they are SI employees, they always keep the same position. Like Kim Christian Hoyenhall as a fantastic keeper
Andy Harwood must be in every single game I start. I know it's name in the game but EVERY game?
Always at nordjeland as well (butchered the spelling).
@@alveio7863kim is killing it on my team!
Also, anyone else get Nikolaj Hansen coming through some of the Danish clubs? He always appears as either a CB or DM and is a solid footballer.
Andy Harwood the sometimes Swedish/English LB that always appears? Usually turns out good.

No one talking about the transition at 24:27 that was actually silky smooth

Zealand normal videos intros : 🙂
Zealand SYS videos intros : 🙃💃 🤪😾

LMAOOO I sent the wrong save, classic (yeah it was a journeyman save)!
19:44 Losing in the Carabao cup final 2-3 to Forest haha. Can't take the spursiness out of the game
The loan song always gets stuck in my head to the point that I regularly get the message. ‘You can only have 5 loans in your match day squad.’
In Belgium it's sooo difficult to handle with the money
"ah time to watch the new Zealand video" *my team somehow catches a stray 1 minute into the video*
LOL the city save intro was hilarious I managed city the first time I ever played FM and it made me think I was good despite just starting the game 🤣
If you can’t get Haaland scoring with City then FM just ain’t for you
Bro chill out who gives af
At this point Zealand is getting closer to saving all the saves.
Finally, a new Loan Song to brighten our mind

Bro knows his history

The KKD sounds like a competition founded by David Duke
Love SYS so much, would be great to see new episodes drop more often (again)! :)
The 4-2-2-2 could still work vs the big teams but needs more support roles. 1st thing I'd do is get one AMC on support and get the DMd playing as DMs.
LOA... whoa with the spectacles dude.

Me seeing a Südtirol save makes me happy. Ive had that issue with no money. I won the champions league with them before i won serie A
If only Zealand used his ability to saves FM25 we won't be stuck with FM24 until next year
Zealand giving shout out to Balkans, big respect

*me with this starting to play in another tab* "hmm, wow, syria, thats a bold start"
My danish feelings was hurt, when you said get rid of Grønbæk
First guy plays in Italy, you can get only 1 (or 2) english players per year, why would he only scout in the UK? 😂
True too, especially with how confusing the italian non-EU rules can be. UK players with a second nationality are such a blessing
return of sys is much needed!

Saving all the saves!

3rd save was 100% a troll lmao
the quote killed me xD
How do I submit a save to be saved?
I dont wanna be caught watching Z sing loans
Is there an Andy Harwood who works for FM? The amount o times I get a newgen who's a world class wonder-kid is ridiculous, usually a LB too!
Buy low, sell high. It's all about making money and progressing.
I found the video I’m watching for lunch. 😄😂
13:03 This is the real deal
Looking forward to your next video!
always a wonderfull to hear an american try to say dutch words/clubs
Wonderkid farm and a bucket of loans.
why the hell is the VVVVVVV-VENLOOOOOOO so fucking Limburg. It could be a carnaval song.

Have a left back in my save also named Andy Harwood
Apparently he is a hardcoded new gen that is often a left back.
I swear Swidersky always end up being really good or really bad in my saves, I never managed to have one where he was just decent
Great player for inferior leagues tho
Your channel is one of the few that always pleases with quality. The information is presented clearly and professionally. Keep it up! 🥧📸☄️
SAVING YOUR SAVES
I'm just waiting for Zealand to go to Turkey and get that hairline fixed
Keep on waiting!
Zealand's forehead is so big - i took a screenshot of it and my whole groceries list fit on it
According to scholars, Moses originally wrote the 10 Commandments on Zealands forehead.
how do i partake in SYS?
How do I sendo my save 🥺🥺🥺🥺
my question is why is the team with such a german name playing in italian football??????
Bro has 40 mil and is complaining about not getting more money from his board lol.
Great
My way is the editor. I know it's questionable way and not for everyone, but when finally the Board decides to sell my wonderkid (no release clause), i move him back to my club. When Board cheats, I cheat too.
They aren’t cheating lol it’s part of football, you are tho.
Cheating is part of football too.
love the honesty
pls teach me
Uwu
First like
And comment
the most concerning part of the first save is that youssoufa moukoko can play defensive mid in it
