Chirk, watching this video: "Thank god we didn't get Mbappe like we tried to, that would have been embarrassing. Let's hope our offer for Haaland will be accepted, I reckon three sheep and some daffodils is pretty fair."
As someone who lives about 10 minutes outside of Chirk and personally know a few of the players at the club, It's nice to know that not even Mbappe could save them... Your pronunciation of the Welsh clubs was pretty spot on too! Great watch :)
Like Rodri say, the most important skill of Haaland is that he makes everyone smile every day. A good atmosphere is important in football, and should be important on FM also.
Hell yeah finally some Wales league lore. A few years ago I managed Llandudno for around 5 season and tbh it's insane how overpowered The New Saints are. In all matches I had against them, I ended up with winning just one game against them in the Cup final. It's hilarious to see that after 3 years or whatever they're still so insane for their league.
Funnily enough I saw them get dethroned by an AI managed club while I was playing a Wrexham save with the Welsh league loaded. Crazy, because they're usually so dominant...

Good fun! Would have been quite interesting to take a look at the club at the end of each of those - where they in a new stadium, what were their finances like, and mostly, of ourse, what type of other players had they managed to sign because of Haaland's efforts, compared to the Mbappe team by the end.
Its wild to see my city club mentioned in a Zealand video, even for a tiny moment. No international success what-so-ever, so no surprise as to why. Borac Banja Luka. (Pronounced: Boratz Banya Luka). Thanks for the cool video Zealand.
There was actually a match years ago when Rhyl played Wrexham and were on for a Welsh quadruple (league, cup, league cup and FAW Premier Cup, which was basically a competition that put the Welsh teams in the Welsh league system against the Welsh teams in the English league system, now scrapped). In that game the home fans came with signs making a pun in which they changed the word "real" to "Rhyl", for example, "We're the Rhyl deal". I vividly remember that even years on because the pun was so bad that I laughed out loud. By the way "Rhyl" is actually pronounced something like "Rill".
I think a cool video idea would be if you take the vanarama south or north and give one team a world class player and see which team will reach the highest level
Video idea: at 15:50 you said an easier route probably you havent heard of from Montenegro and Finland: Make them be the Best team by winning all the trophies they can win
Very cool. It would be fun to do the same but with the best player from each position, to see if there is a position that has more impact than the others. Like is it enough to have the best goalkeeper (or central defender, or midfielder, ...) in the world to win the Welsh league?

That is so true. Used a custom database (Top 10 tiers of England) and played with Tier 10 Penzance. Found a Free Agent who was 23 and had a CA/PA of 16/90. Enticed that player to sign with Penzance by giving him a goal scoring bonus. That player was about 6'2", and had 16 for Pace and Acceleration, and 1 or 2 for everything else. Despite no skills other than speed, he led the league in Goals Scored, and won promotion. I kept that player 5 seasons, each year he led the league in Goals, and my team won 5 consecutive promotions. However, by the time we reached Vanarama South, that dude was just an average player, and I had to find a new striker. I "followed" that player, and he continued to have a successful career with tier 7 & 8 clubs before age cut into his speed. Wish I could remember that players name. This was FM22. Probably the ONLY year this player actually appeared an any FM game. Looked up the player - he was a real person. He was a U-18 TRACK star in England, before playing college soccer in the US. He returned to England for 2020/21, and played a handful of games with an 8th/9th tier team, then never played pro soccer again. But that was enough to get him into the FM22 database.
I wonder if this would actually be the case in reality. I mean the top players in world football are basically capable of single handedly scoring goals against less capable teams. I remember years ago Gareth Bale, playing for Wales in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, scored a goal against Scotland where he took the ball inside his own half, beat three or four Scottish players for pace and smashed it into the roof of the net from about 35m out. And this was a Scotland team with players from the Premier League and Scottish Premier League and Bale single handedly scored an insane goal (to beat them, as the score was 1-1 at that time). In the whole Welsh Premier League there is one completely professional team, The New Saints, who absolutely dominate everything. But Mbappe could probably single handedly score at least one, maybe two goals in a game against them even with practically no help. Against other teams even more so. Then of course people would pay to watch Mbappe play, so Chirk (or whoever) would get loads more fans, and would be able to sign better players for the rest of the team as a result. This is something the game has not simulated very well here. It's safe to say that more than 28 people are going to turn up if you have Mbappe in your team.
What I've learned from this video. New Saints are prolly the BEST team in the world, but are DEFINITELY the GOATs of the Welsh League Edit: also, as a neighboring Norwegian, I see you Finns and MYPA! I see you! EditEdit: Now BOTH at Chirk at the same time for this experiment!

Haaland is a target man. Mbappe is a winger. It's good for lower league teams to just punt the ball forward than to do short passes and dribble.
