That American database would be a lot of fun. The guy who did the Basque player save turned Pentagon is pretty cool too. I've never gone back to a former club in a save as given the AI tends to break up your team quickly it wouldn't feel right. As an American, that save looks amazing😭 they had a ton of semi pro teams that are around where I live. One of the head coaches on the team is my coach😁
Great video as always! 5’10 goalie 😂 number one criteria for a Clayts’ goalie is 6’2 (same for the CB) as well! Amazing saved shown! And mistakenly signing 8 Anderlecht players 🤭🤭 😅😅
Ryan here - weren't able to see it in the video but we only won the UCL because of my goalkeeper who got man of the match and saved 2 penalties in the shootout! I sainted him immediately
I love doing what the Barca save did, creating a farm system where you buy loads of players who most aren't actually good enough for your team but you can sell them on in a couple years for a massive profit, basically making a gateway that every half decent South American or African player must pass through to get into the European leagues
Played a MLS save in FM 22 for ages, absolutely loved it. The rules mean you need to be far more skillful to get a good squad balance. Research the contract types and it becomes quite straightforward
You should've done this series back in FM19 or 20, I ran back-to-back saves starting in the Conference North/South and getting to the Premier League only using players with double-barrelled surnames. Might need to do a new one
One fun idea, which would require a lot of editing, is to break up England into regions like basque and catalan are in Spain. Then all clubs in given regions get must sign from their regions, so clubs in Merseyside must sign players from that region (though might work better to be Lancashire instead to give enough options). Would take some work but would totally change playing in England, maybe allowing a small number of Irish, Scottish or Welsh to some regions in a similar way to the foreigner rules.
I added the Basque club in France to my to-do list in my FM20 save that I am still playing, currently in 2100 at my fifth club doing a academy challenge
I briefly did the MLS on a Pentagon Challenge before getting the Club America job. I found it a little confusing but not as much as the Australian league did.
Mls saves are underrated. Does help if you know the complex rules or have an interest in American sports before starting though. Otherwise I get why it scares people off. I’ve had some of my favourite fm saves in the states. Australia only marginally less complex was good to
(Sorry for my horrible english in advance) I had a FM 21 save that i lost, that it was with sudtirol FC, at that time i saw fm 22/23 clays dof save, so i make a sudtirol fc save as dof with a catch, sudtiril is a club from north italy, and the city its called south tyrol because originaly tyrol was austrian but it was took by italy a lot of time a go. Now in fm 23 , i download France data base to rebuild Cannes as who were at 5th división (now they are 4th), the club that grave birth to viera a zidane, which i Will make a France, ex France colonies and argentina players and staff (because i'm from Argentina) staff and players but as coach and not as dof because i'm recreating Zidane tactics

Played an mls save in fm 22 and I loved it, the draft is such an interesting concept. It's what makes me love the mls, so I'm always a bit annoyed when guys change the format and don't include the draft because for me that's the best part
Hello! Sadly, with the editor, America is one of the toughest nations to edit (not sure why, but it can be very buggy), and getting the draft to populate is near impossible if you want to do a pyramid system, the answer may be in Advanced Rules but AR is a different language to the normal editor and is much more grindy. The draft would be an interesting idea but I don't see it being feasible atm.
A challenge (if not already been done) You can only get a job with teams that match letters in your name (to make it more interesting, it has to be in the same order) I'm aware that it might not be possible to do every single letter; such as "X" "Y" and "Z" That keeper is 5ft 10, way too short for a keeper.
