COMPLEX KETTLEBELL WORKOUT - Kick-ass Kettlebell Series | Day 2

- Day 2 in the Kick-ass Kettlebell Series and it's COMPLEXES!
Each complex will be approx 3 minutes duration with 45 seconds rest between each complex! Simply work through each of the exercises in the complex for the number of reps at your own pace and once you have completed all of the exercises with relevant reps, repeat until the 3 minutes is complete!
Shoulders, chest, back, core, entire lower body working!
Complex training really allows for you to work at your own pace depending on the weight you are using, your experience and co-ordination so it really is you vs you!
All you will need for this kettlebell workout is a kettlebell and your mat! You can absolutely use various weights of kettlebells and also dumbbells if you prefer! I will be using 2 kettlebells, one being 16kg and the other 10kg, however I will put on screen which weight I am using for each complex just for your reference!

Alternating hand swings!
Try to make each transaction as smoothly as possible and manoeuvre your body to gain the biggest range of motion out of each rep!
Depending on the weight you are using, you may go at a faster pace or slower pace than me but it’s all on screen the exercises and reps!
If needs be, bend at arm slightly during RDLs to gain larger range of motion if kettlebell touching floor!

I fully agree. I need my daily does of pump otherwise i feel like crap. It is not about weight anymore. There is so much more to fitness, aesthetics are just a positive by product of it.

Just started following. I belonged to a kettlebell studio several years ago. I really like doing the 5 min warm up. The 10-15min ab workout. And then, one day of the Day 1-5 workout. Or your 30min or 45min workout. Excellent workout. And a lot of fun.

I’m a little late to the game on CG workouts.. but here to say I finished EPIC 1 (sans hiit workouts) and decided to do this kettle series before I move on to Epic 2 or another cg program and WOW.. these are killer! I’m drenched in sweat and feeling great!!💪… cannot imagine how I could get through this without epic 1 under my belt😅

I’m on my third week of the Complex KB workout and each workout I am able to use heavier weights longer and my endurance keeps improving. i normally do not comment, but now i just wanted to say thank you! Your workouts are truly amazing. Since i broke my arm a few years ago i still cant load too much, it still hurts especially on the wrist during pushups or burpees. So bodyweight trainings were never really working for me. When i learned half a year ago from you, that i can still train and get pumped just by training with actual weights, it were like a small wonder haha.
I started with a pair of 3 kg dumbbells, now i am working with loads of different dumbbells, fitness and glutebands and kettlebells, up to 16 kg. You changed my perspective on getting loaded and on getting muscles, especially as a small woman.
I really like about your videos, that you dont advertise how much fat someone could lose by this workout, or how big someones booty will be after doing that workout blablabla. Your workout are not about how you look after doing them, it is about feeling good and strong and having self esteem again. I feel great, even my back doesnt hurt so much anymore.
I didnt do the epic series regulary, rather than looking always for a few videos i would do, but this time for the kettlebell series i am on! i am really looking forward!
PS: i really love your accent. i planned two travels to ireland and northern ireland for 2020, but obviously couldnt go because of corona. but someday i will haha.

Absolutely loved this workout! And that's saying quite a bit because: 1. I don't own a kettlebell, so used 2 dumbbells instead, 2. I'm still very sore from Sun. and Mon. and 3. I usually hate complexes. But this workout absolutely flew by-probably because we didn't have to repeat the complexes and because it was so varied. Thanks so much, Cx!

I passed on yesterday’s workout, but enjoyed today’s exercise. It is my first time using kettlebells, 30 minutes was perfect and I liked the swing finisher. I am waiting to feel the difference between a dumbbell workout. Nice to see everyone and thanks Caroline!

Wow, this workout was no joke. It was like strength training and cardio modes in. Those kettlebell swings really got my heart rate up. Near the end she was going so fast I was like ok, let’s do this and was able to keep up. I did paise the workout once because I wanted to complete the other side and the timer had finished. And once I only did 5 reps instead of the 10 each because I knew I wouldn’t have time to do the complete other side. But I kept moving and Caroline always says “make this your own workout “ so that’s what I did! This was great and I can’t believe how quickly it went by. I thought 3 minutes was going to feel like an eternity, but it went by way too fast, I felt like I was really pushing and going quickly to make sore I fit all my reps of each in. Great format and I’ll definitely be doing this again, especially when I want a quick full body workout and don’t have much time.

Revisiting this week long series, because I love kettlebell workouts. This is still my all time favorite one!
Hi everyone, I just finished Epic 1 a few days ago and im so in love with these programs. (She is Amazing) I am on day 3 of Epic 2 but i was wondering if anyone does more than 1 workout a day being one of her shorter workouts for a more intense day?
I always combine her 30 min workouts with another short workout I find on youtube or I just go for a run/long walk during the day :)
Yes you can if you have the energy for it!
I did a cardio routine or a core workout on some of the lighter days! I find upper arm days tend to be less intense in terms of exertion unlike legs so I supplement at times! But really you don’t need to if you don’t wish for it!
I add one of Caroline's ab workouts or do a 20 min stationary bike, but...the shorter is actually better for me due to my work schedule

That was some full body fun!!🤩 Love complexes! Really enjoyed all the combinations today too. Couldn't do the single arm swings with my dumbbell so I just did regular swings.👍🏻 Complex 1, 5 and 6 were my favorite. Loved doing the walking swings. Complex 8 was the most tiring! I haven't been able to have access to a gym this summer and im working at home with just a kettlebell. this series is one of the only at home workouts that leave me with that same shaky wobbly muscles I get at the gym. fire

It’s so good to be back . I love complexes. I do struggle to get comfortable with the kettlebell at times but once I do then I’m on it! 👍💪
Did tis yesterday with an assortment of single dumbells of 7, 9 and 12.5 kg. It was pretty tough, some pauses were definitely needed, but I really enjoyed this one.
