    First time on the 30 minutes using a 15 lb kettlebell. Just being able to keep up at my age (70) is an accomplishment! Love your workouts!

      I agree Samantha. Many trainers talk too much in fact in my opinion. Caroline is so amazing that after I listen to her introduction, I mute the video and play my own music. I find that her written cues and facial expressions guide me enough. I absolutely love her. She's like a Muscles and Fitness Hers magazine come to life.

    If I could choose just 1 workout to commit to for the rest of my life it would most definitely be this workout! IMO if one were to do JUST THIS workout 3 to 4 times per week, they would see drastic improvements in muscle tone, fat loss, and cardiovascular health. It is the perfect full body workout, and the way it is structured through super-sets guarantees that it will challenge even the fittest of fitness aficionados. The best part is that you don't have to rely on just this workout as Caroline provides a plethora of free workouts on RUclips to choose from, but this is BY FAR my favorite. Keep up the good work Caroline and thank you for your free content. I was a former college football player who let my body go and had given up on getting it back. This workout was the most essential component in me creating a new me that honestly feels FAR better than I felt in my "physical peak" of college football workouts. I will forever be greatful to Caroline Girvan for her free creations that helped free me!

      Still doing it weekly. Some tweaks now
      I do Bulgarian split squats instead of the lunges.
      Instead of the single arm presses I do double armed presses with 10kg dumbbells and then tricep dips on a bench.
      And I always repeat the last 3 exercises so I do about 34 minutes of workout
      I’ve lost 1 stone since I started 🎉
      Thank you Caroline!

    I tried this workout for the first time last Thursday. I stopped at the 11:37 mark. Today, I said "Screw it, how far can I go?" and went the full 30. I wanted to quit twice, at the 16 minute mark and the 24. But I realized I really was just tired, but not yet fatigued. So I kept going. And now my watch is telling me I averaged 161 bpm, burned 471 calories, and will take 4 days to recover (I'm obese, 70 pounds / 32kg overweight). But I plan on doing it again by Saturday. It's easier when multi-tasking; I was watching a video on American history. Thank you for this workout!

    • @TheRedStarman
      @TheRedStarman 2 года назад +25

      This routine is now getting a lot easier. Average heart rate went down to 142 bpm, and I burned only 381 calories, and my expected recovery time is just 29 hours. Alo, I can do it just breathing through my nose. Talk about improvement!

    Thank you so much! I have only done a couple of your workouts, but love them! Really appreciate how you format them with visual cues ahead of next exercise. I only had a 15lb kettlebell, but haven’t lifted in a long time, so I used a 5lb handweight and it worked great. Will work my way up! Have lost 9lbs, wanting to lose another 8lbs of fat, so adding weight training. Thanks again! Blessings!

    So it's Saturday so did a little 30mins Treadmill this morning thinking today would be a short 10-15 min. Caroline all credit to you, you can never predict whats coming next which I think is the key, always new, also motivating, and also you walking the walk. I really like kettelbells but I only have a 12 and you were using a 16. So I took your advise and increase my reps and time on the Alternating Swings. Also concentrated on keeping the abs tight. FAB 30 mins Caroline you really did kill that session. I really love that you do the full workout and dont pause like many others and the fact that you take a break occassionally really shows how you are at your max. Your are an amazing Athlete. Incredibly Motivating 👍👍👍

    So I started this workout in January along with fasting and I’ve lost about 22 pounds. This is a workout I’ve stayed consistent with for 3-4 times a week. I started with a 10 pound kettlebell and increased up to a 25 pound kettlebell. I did however find it hard to do the floor exercises with the heavier kettlebell because I felt like it would fall on my face so instead I switch to doing those standing up. So I repeat the couch arm workouts in that part. I figure im still getting a burn out of it and I’m not just sitting that part out I’m still moving. I will do this until I feel I have more upper body strength to confidently do the floor ones. Eventually I plan to increase the kettlebell weight to the weight she uses. Good luck guys you got this! Stay consistent no matter what. I know it’s super hard but the results are definitely worth it!
