Mine has 6,000 rounds down it now.. absolutely love it...
Awesome!
Thanks. I enjoy your comments and from them have learned a great deal. Purchased a Glock 44 on my 74th birthday in Feb of this year. Came very late to shooting as sport and found that I enjoy going to the range. Not having much experience in comparisons I do though enjoy the Glock.
That’s awesome, love to hear these stories.
I bought this for my son for this B-Day( his first pistol)- of course I took it to the range to test- out of the box it had a few problems- after taking it back home and giving it a proper cleaning and oil- took it again and pistol is flawless- my son loves it!! Great 22LR
Glad he likes it and thanks for watching!
I just shot my G 44 today for the first time, bought it because my local pawn shop guy recommend it then when I got home after purchasing it I thought I made a mistake after reading about some horror stories about it, but I also saw that was towards the beginning of the launch of this specific pistol, most reviews I saw within the last 3 months seem to tell a different tale. That it is a very good pistol. Anyways I shot 50 rounds through it today and not one malfunction it still looks brand new and ran beautifully. Thank you for the video you got yourself a new subscriber!
Thank you for watching and subscribing! I thought mine was going to be horrible but it’s been solid!
@@TiberiousGib yeah I'm glad they are actually really solid! And a lot of fun to shoot! Love the vids keep em coming! :)
WOW! 50 whole rounds!
Great reviews...you should have 100k+ subs...in due time...Keep it up 👌🏽
Thanks brother 🙏 That truly just made my weekend!!!
Gave my son a G44 about 3 weeks ago, so far running flawless after 1000 rounds using only 40 grain ammo from Aguila haven't tried other ammo yet .22 ammo is hard to find and so expensive these days...Love that gun.
I was damn impressed with my g44, thanks for watching
I've had mine 3 weeks now,, have used miss matched ammo, old and new, zero malfunctions,,,620 rounds now and shooting tomorrow
Awesome! I just got two 18 round magazines for the G44, see how they run the next few weeks.
Loved the intro!!! Bought it just because of that!!!! Nice!!!
Awesome 🙌
Thanks for this review! I just got a G44 to teach my wife , this gun is great, we already put 250 rounds and have 1,500 to go. It’s an amazing practice gun!
Awesome
Almost 3k subs !!! Nice.
I’ve been keeping an eye on it all week.
Yeah, I freaked out over that line on the slide too. I thought it was a crack. I like my G44. It has been very reliable and accurate so far.
Mine is still solid but I want the P322
Man I bought one. Live in Oregon and shit is crazy here. I was 7,561 inline for the background check. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I’m finally 2,500. It was a smoking deal brand new 325$ bucks literally bought it on a whim. Then of course as I’m waiting looking around all I see is people hating on them. This video makes me feel a lot better!
The early ones had issues but they seem good to go now, that waiting period is a joke!!!
Amazing review
Why thank you 🙏
Love mine. Great vid brotha
Thanks bud 🙏
I have 2,302 documented rounds through mine using 17 different types of ammo. Only 120 rounds of premium stuff; remainder is bulk pack. Armscor, Aguila, Blazer, Fed, Rem Golden, Rem Thunderbolt, Win 555 & M-22, etc. Had some failures in 1st 1,000 shots. Since then have shot nearly 1,100 more with zero malfunctions.
I’ve had similar results, some early malfunctions but overall very solid.
Loved the intro.
I actually forgot about that intro hahaha
Pick one up today from neighbor slightly used looks to be fired few times in the box with all the trimmings $200 gonna let her eat tomorrow
good Christmas present to my son
Or now watching your video maybe me
Keep up great videos and information
That’s a crazy deal! Hope she runs smooth!
Bought one at my local Bi-Mart. Waiting for the background check before they'll let me take it home. But I'm excited to give it a whirl. I'm not very experienced when it comes to firearms, and this will be the first I've owned. Figured it'd give me a fun and fairly inexpensive way to practice, and get more comfortable with firearms before moving up to a bigger caliber.
That is the perfect way to get started, I did the same thing years ago. Make sure you learn and follow all of the safety rules!
I just bought one..Clean and oiled it and put 100 cci 100 m22 20 golden bullet and 30 automatch..perfect so far..I'm impressed ..I like the magazines
Awesome
Just got my HQL and have this on my 7 day hold. I can't wait to get it as it will be my first handgun. I have a 10/22 rifle, so I have a bunch of ammo already, and tend to shoot better quality rounds with it anyway. The gun shop said this Glock needs to be lubed when brand new, and they recommend better ammo for it. I just want a gun I can afford to take to the range a couple times a month to get proficient with, then step up to a higher caliber. Yes maybe I go to the 19.
Not a bad first choice, I’ve had really good luck with mine. Enjoy it!
I just asked about this on your IG so never mind on that first question! 😂
Just put one on layaway. Can't wait to get it out. And take it to the range.
I hope you like it as much as I do!
Bought a G44 to get used to the famous Glock trigger. Bought a Ghost connecter though, it was rough at the start. Even with the Ghost 3.5 pound connector it was on the heavy side. Now after a few thousand rounds it's real sweet shooting. Makes a lot of fun.
I needed up putting an Apex trigger in it
@@TiberiousGib the Apex trigger doing well in the gun?
I love my glock 44 it is my first ever firearm and I love how small and light it is and it is pretty loud for just a little 22
That’s why every gun should be suppressed 😬
Thank you!!!
Thank you for watching 🙏
This is literally the best way to test a gun. Only research you need to do before buying a gun is to see a 1,000 round video
Agreed
I am seriously tempted to get one.
It’s a really fun pistol and mine has been pretty reliable.
Definitely love my Glock 44, she doesn't like the bulk Federal ammo I have but she runs flawlessly on everything else I've tried. Was a little worried when I first bought her but I kind of like it better than the Glock 17, mostly because I can afford to shoot it and it's so much more comfortable to conceal carry with the weight. Sure most people wouldn't conceal carry a .22 but I live in one of the safest states in the country and I feel pretty confident hand to hand, of course I do carry the 17 in the cities cause there are some gangs. Another great thing about the 44 really the only thing that interested me about a 10 shot 22 is I knew someone would make larger magazines and out comes Promag with an 18 round Glock 44 magazine, to bitch slap the Taurus TX22. Lol
I’m actually doing a review on those pro mags right now
Do you own a TX-22? I've heard it's the best besides the sig
@@305dade8aThe tx 22 is a fantastic pistol. The Glock is OK but not as good as the tx. The sig isn’t even in the running.
I only shot 100 rounds thru mine I had 2 malfunctions but I love it
Kinda expected with 22
Perfection through 3k rounds . Love it.
Awesome 🙌
Good shit I was worried
Mine is still running flawless 🙌
Thx
🙌
I have one of these on order. I couldn't decide whether I wanted to pick this up or just grab a TacSol or AA conversion kit. Basically want it as a training tool since I mostly carry a G19 sized P80 build. Any recommendations for upgrades etc? Or run it? Anyways, great follow up on the G44! I have a whole case of CCI Minimags waiting for mine when it comes in.
If you are using it as a trainer for a G 19 I will try to keep it set up the same way your Glock is. The 18 round promag magazines on a bad idea assuming you get reliable ones.
@@TiberiousGib I run Night Fision sights and an Apex trigger...I guess I'll have to snag some of those for the G44. Yea, looks like those ProMags are hit or miss. May grab 1 or 2 to try out.
How about barrel fouling at 5K rounds. I had a conversation kit that fouled up after like 400 and rounds were key holing. Let me know. Thanks for the video
No issues here, close to 6k now.
I bought my 44 a month ago during the panic buying period. I had 10,000 rounds of 22 ammo (no CCI) from before when I sold all my guns because my wife was a scaredy-cat. I finally convinced her we needed a shotgun and a pistol plus I wanted to use up my 22 stash. I'm 6'6" and 300 pounds of 74 year old worthless retired crap and that's the kind of decisions we make. That's also why we shouldn't run the country, but that's another issue. Unlike our President, I have MASSIVE hands and the only 22 pistol that fit was the Glock. I probably would NOT have bought it if I'd watched the RUclips reviews first because all the hot-shit gun guys think it's a toy, a worthless Glock mistake, prone to break, unable to fire an entire mag without a burp, blah, blah, blah. The fact that I paid about $75 bucks over the "street price" from before the panic set in didn't make me feel any better, either. So...now that I've fired a few thousand rounds with VERY FEW burps, maybe 2 or 3 per 300, I don't feel too stupid after all. I like the gun but maybe when I'm done shooting off my caps I'll trade up to a big-boy 9 so I don't feel embarrassed when I go to the range.
You win the award for longest comment of the week! There was definitely some issues with the early G44’s but those seemed to be all worked out now. Like I said in the video mine has been solid similar to yours. Thanks for watching and I agree on getting the 9mm!
I definitely wouldn't trade the .22 in, my Glock 44 has already paid for itself in the savings from firing .22LR instead of 9mm. Only reason I bought it when I already owned the Glock 17. No need to be embarrassed if you own both, people should be envious when you fire off 1,000 rounds for like $40 giving you much more range time so you can practice on beating Jerry Miculek's records. Lol, I'm not that good or fast, but it's fun to try.
Jim .. ONLY 74? - I'm coming up 77 and I'd say any Glock will get the job done for you mate - including the 'two-two'. - Our NZ farmers use the .22 to slaughter cattle beasts for the freezer so I expect that it will work against burger-fed perps if held tight in large hands eh ..
No wife ...I keep my guns good buy
I like the vid! Where that line or “crack” is on the slide, is that metal or polymer?
polymer part of the slide near the extractor
Tiberious Gib so the slide isn’t entirely made of steel? Forgive my ignorance I haven’t seen a G44 in person yet.
No worries, the top of the slide is polymer and the bottom is steel. Good a picture of the G 44 and zoom in.
@@ItalianCJM8232 Hi mate - take a look & read at my blog on the G44 - There's a good image of the mould lines that some morons are calling "cracks". Link .. flicense.blogspot.com/2020/10/glock-g44-down-under-part-ii.html
My favorite 22 is the TX22.
Aren’t you a Glock fanboy?
I got mine today !!!!
Awesome! Hope you like it
Smith and Wesson 22 compact vs the Glock 44 would be a good show down. 💯💯💯
That it would, I’ll see if I can get my hands on one.
@@TiberiousGib cool.. can't wait to see that
Tiberious Gib u wanna buy one I got one shot it 3 times it's new...
Did you face any accuracy issues?, specifically it shooting high? I was reading that the back sights are adjustable and people mention to put on a neon sight on the front because the standard Glock sights are not it.
I didn’t, pretty much point of aim was point of impact
What's your favorite 22lr pistol?
The Glock 44 is my favorite .22 pistol. Actually, it's the only one I own. I handled SR22, LCP II, M&P22, but not the TX22, and I definitely like the G44 better. Based on my real world experience with this gun, I know that I made a really good decision back in January. I'd like a Browning Buckmark, or a Ruger Mk IV someday for fun. My second choice based only on feel is SR22, followed by LCP II, M&P22, and lastly the TX22 because I have never actually held one, but I know it's a Taurus, and won't live to be passed on. It will likely wear out internally, that's why I think it's so cheap. I also enjoy shooting the Ruger Wrangler. Honestly, I'd like to have one of all the .22 pistols. I like plinking.
@@clutchcargo1239 mine as well. Shot it for the first time today after purchasing a week ago and wow what a pistol!
Gonna be the G44.
Do you know any place to Get good glock 44 accessories? I cant seem to find any Lasers, optics For the glock 44
Laser and lights are standard, Streamlight TLR7 or 8
Where did you get the flashlight from on the glock
It’s from Inforce but I don’t recommend it, get the Streamlight TLR7a
Mines good, can't miss with it . Great for kids and ladies. Good for the fellas too like I said can't miss
Agreed! Mine has been solid!
I’ve put another 1000 though it at nor’easter good stuff cheap stuff even cycled the 60 grain agiulla subsonic I can’t remember a malfunction or a miss for that matter
Well I just bought one. Wish me luck!
My fingers are crossed for you 🤞
Tiberious Gib update. Took it to the range today 350 rounds later only 1 malfunction. Stove pipe. Other then that ran like a dream!
Excellent!
You're a cool guy
Thank you for the kind words, the world needs more of it! 🙏
Mine has jams when i use CCI 710 fps ammo. 1050 fps and up runs like a dream. My .22 vector doesnt like 710 fps either
Tough to run any semi auto with sub 1000 fps ammo
Have ran stingers, all cci ammo federal, aguila. And so on. Can't make a single mag without an issue. Looking for suggestions
Send it back to Glock, sell it, and get a Sig P322 😬
@@TiberiousGib I did got it back same issues. Best offer I have gotten was 150$ I gave 369$
I'm thinking about getting one.
I like the fact that it's like the 19 but cheaper to shot. I'm a new shooter. Do you think it's a good way to go?
It’s. Great way to learn basic pistol fundamentals but in no way should it be used for self defense in my opinion.
@@TiberiousGib thanks
Michael Mueller I’m a new shooter. I love mine. I was lucky enough to find both the g44 and g19 in stock
@@ajcap I got mine last week.
I put 1100 rounds through it. Maybe 10 malfunctions. Couple loading issues in a couple stove pipes. It a super fun gun. 🇺🇸
Michael Mueller nice. I’ve narrowed the ammo down to pretty much just CCI mini mags exclusive. Local gun store always has them in stock and since I buy so many at a time, he’s been lowering the price even with an ammo shortage. I’m thankful I bought the g44, because I can’t shoot the g19 yet. Literally no 9mm ammo around
Glock review wearing a Sig hat! lol
I was wondering if anyone would
notice 😜
I had about 20 malfunctions in 200 rounds with bulk champion 36 grain I’m hoping if I use 40 grain ammo it’ll run better.
I would think so
Use 40 grain CCI ammo. This gun is its own animal and doesn't do well with 36 grain Fed or Win. I have had that ammo fail with every single .22 that I have had. I love my G44. It never fails until cheap ammo comes into the mix which is fine since it is my CC gun.
Mine eats almost everything but thanks
Hey what flashlight is that ?
Inforce APLc, they dont make it anymore
I love the G44 it’s a Glock I’m partial, but the sig and taurus even are more reliable sadly but hey it’s 22 I really don’t give a shit I’d rather have the G44 any day!
Whatever works best for you my friend 🙏
What kind of light is that?
Inforce APL-c, they are hard to find right now because they have been recently discontinued but there are new metal version of that light coming out in a few months.
It sends tumblers after 200 to 300 if the barrel is not brushed. Thunderbolt. Any ideas?
I’ve never had any bullets thumble, is it just dirty?
@@TiberiousGib yes, after I scrub the barrel with a brush it is fine. I just don't understand why Thunderbolt does that in only 200rds.
Glock does supply a brush for a reason. I keep mine pretty well cleaned and lubed. Took a few hundred rounds that had a variety of malfunctions but now it has settled down and is quite reliable even with Rem Thunderbolt.
Funny man... I'm a G44 fan .... Waiting to get aluminum slide... Promag makes a 18 round magazine...it runs find .... Cheap thunderbolt ammo sucked .... CCI meateater, stingers, stangers, run great ... I have the same line... federal punch self defense ammo great carry ammo...
Have you checked out the new Sig 22? I’m looking forward to comparing these two
I'm a Glock guy ... Don't fix what ain't broken ..
What light is on it
Inforce APLc, it has been discontinued but a new version should be out soonish
What light is that?
Inforce, but stay away
@@TiberiousGib stay away? Is there one you would recommend for the 44?
Dude, sig hat?? What the heck, fire starter on your head??
Sig > Glock
woooo
You excited?
Great review of the Glock 44👌
arizonapro2a 👍
Thanks 👍
if you have the money to waste this is the perfect hand gun .
I know others had a lot of issues but mine had been solid! About 6,000 rounds in without any issues, seems like most of those issues were with the early models.
😂 I hope the comments help
They do 🙏
I pitty the fool who has to load all those magazines
Unfortunately it was all me and only 2 ten round Magazines.

That gun is garbage
Some of them, I am no Glock fan boy but mine has been damn good
@@TiberiousGib sure but I'm sure you used only hot rounds and a 10-round only magazine is pathetic
@@victorforte1605 Is bulk Federal 550rds hot ammo? How about Remington Thunderbolts, or Cyclones... Are they hot ammo? Is bulk Winchester White Box hot ammo too? I'm asking for a friend that requires an expert opinion. 🤪🎯🤪 P.S. Garbage is, what garbage says, and sometimes it's pathetic. Are you 22Stinksters sister? I see a resemblance. 😉
Mine shoots everything!!
@Ximos Trilox really? Man thats what has been holding me back...personally i dont care if it sucks or not because it can probably be sold off for retail if i dont like it. But those damn tiny mags though. Should be at least 15 rounds and maybe close to 20
Shame on glock dont innovate anymore stick to your same old design over and over
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess 🤷♂️
Glock junk
I wouldn’t say junk, they make an affordable and reliable pistol
U tripping I’m buying one with a switch
