I bought the 44 for my Mom lol, she’s in her early 70’s and wanted something she would feel comfortable using in an emergency. Now that she’s mastered shooting it she loves it. It’s really funny to watch my Mom shooting pretty proficiently at the range. Great first gun.
i guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Roland Arjun i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I love how indepth you go with your videos, I have learned so much from watching them. I also love how yall post the item #'s so customers don't have to search very hard to find what they are looking for.
Great video, I like your being honest about its short comings and possible flaws of the G44 and not just trying to sell it off like its Glock perfection.
after 9 years i just bought a glock 44 gen 5 bcz is 1 pound with my naked holster and cci hollow point ammo love it thanks glock keep doing a great job making great pistols
Bought a Glock 44 Jan have over 2000 rounds through it....love it ALOT of stovepipes with thunderbolt ammo ...36gr Remington golden bullet , Winchester 36gr a few FTE....CCI STINGERS RAN GREAT.... GREAT PLINKER
Lenny you are the GLOCK GOD! Looking forward to taking advantage of you slide milling for a red dot service! Love your videos my favorite GLOCK information videos! 🔥king of Glocks!
I love shooting .22. its great to take a couple to the range with your larger calibers. no fatigue shooting them and you can extende your time at the range for extremely cheap.
Thank you for such an in-depth review. I purchased the G44, my first glock and won't be my last. I've fired over 1,500 rounds through it and only stove piped maybe half a dozen time total. I am looking forward to ordering the double diamond connector, the stock trigger is a little heavy for the gun. Stay healthy and safe Lenny!
Slide cover for the G44 is thinner than the G19, making it hard to put a G19 cover into a G44. It'll go in there, but with a lot of force necessary, making it hard to remove afterwards!
i have 4000 rounds through my 44 and have only had a handful of feed issues. i own several .22 pistols and this pistol rates among the top for me. i only shoot 40 grain ammo with at least 1235 fps. love this gun and it is so much fun at the range.
The velocity on the ammo boxes are through a rifle test barrel. I think you probably loose 4-500fps out of this short barrel. Non the less, these are still good ammunition choices.
I believe the Glock 44 is probably the most innovative thing Glock has done in years! That said Glock needs to lower the price on the gun, threaded barrel, and the low capacity 10 round magazines! I wouldn’t mind spending $30 for a 15 round mag. I was pissed having to pay that much for a 10 rounder. Over all this gun and accessories are just too expensive. I bought mine to shoot GSSF Matches in the rimfire division. In that role mine has performed well. I broke it in with 300 rounds of mini mags straight from the box . No lube, no cleaning, only a quick take down and inspection before firing. I do this with all my new guns to find wear marks. If you lube first it takes longer for the marks to show up. I had absolutely zero issues with my 44 during the break in period. Prior to delivery of my gun I watched every RUclips video I could find and avoided the mistakes early adopters made. First they used the crappiest ammo they could find. Second they did not load the magazines properly as the mags are ridiculously finicky. Third most did not take the time to adjust the sights for windage or elevation. Mine shot high and left as most of the videos attest. After sight adjustment I was shooting at point of aim @ 15 yrds. I tested my 44 with various ammunition but settled on the cheapest most reliable that I could find that was available locally the first is Federal bulk 500 rounds, 36 gr. Copper Plated Hollow Point the Second Winchester bulk 555 rounds, 36gr. CPHP. Both are available at Walmart. After 4000 rounds I have stopped counting. The gun is not perfect during the first 4K shooting cheap bulk I have experienced a few stove pipes, FF, FE, light primer strikes Etc. As far as reliablity it is as good a my 2 PPQ 22’s, Ruger Sr22, Beretta 92M2-22, Walther P22 5” Target. When shooting matches I will only use CCI Standard or Mini-Mags. So far no issues with CCI
I totally appreciate how you took the pistol apart and explained each piece however, as a new shooter, can you do a basic cleaning of this pistol because I would never be able to reassemble this pistol if I took it totally apart but I want to keep it as clean as possible.
hi lenny, love your channel and how you review GLOCKS. Amazed as well with the mods that you've shown with the different models. Your shop and what you sell are AWESOME!! Just got hold of the Glock 44 for a few months now, shot it already. May i ask if you would or could place a red dot on a Glock 44, with a mount for rear sight dovetail. Thanks
He's the Casey Kasem of the gun world! amazing voice! anyways Lenny I need and extended ambi-slide release for this gun.. also can I mount upgrade steel rear sight or do I need to find one made of polymer like Night Fision brand?
G44 is advertised as the same as G19. Yet, some parts on your website do not list the 44 as compatible. ie. extended slide stop lever, extended magazine. Are these really interchangeable? Thanks, Lenny.
The firing pin spacer sleeve item # 6130 that you show, will not fit into the striker channel of the G44. Please don't mislead people. The item you show # 6130 fits all 9mm, and maybe other calibers but not the G44 .22lr.
@@Patriot-pq1ku not luck for you🤔🤔🤔😬😬🤷♂️lol, mine still working, I use remington, about 4 buckets of 1,400 rounds hollowpoints some American eagle, the one of the red box and some eagle hollowpoints and some other crappie ammo I have on a box mixt and keeps working

Love the content, we have a GLock Enthusiast Face book page here in Australia and I am certain you will be a BIG HIT! I think GLock's are underestimated over HERE..... LETS PROVE THEM WRONG! I’ve not gotten my hands on a Glock 44 yet however, I think this might be a good training gun. You train someone on the Glock 44 and then they can transition to a Glock 19. Bass Pro in Gainesville Florida has a portable firing range behind their store that can only accommodate a.22 caliber round. Instructors can use this gun to get folks ready to get their concealed carry permit.
My 'Smith &Wesson MP' in .22 caliber has an aluminum slide and polymer lower. Only problem I've had is the perpinsety to 'Stove Pipe' rounds now and then. Maybe Glock should reconsider their slide material choice.
@@internetexpert8153 Oh, that's totally true, but there is something about having 24 to 30 (reliable) rounds in a handgun that doesn't have an obnoxious mag hanging out the bottom. I want an excuse to buy one, but can't justify blowing that kind of money on an impractical round.

Not a hater, in fact I love Glock design. But god damn the G44 is a joke, several people had catastrophic failure with it. It's a damn .22, how can you even have a catastrophic failure with it?!😂
Because companies try to adapt an existing platform from 9 or 45 to 22 when in fact these platforms just don't work. 22 is an unreliable round and needs a proprietary platform. Ruger really knows how to make a good 22. I have a Taurus TX22 and it runs everything, in hi cap mags, for 100 bucks less.

It's important to understand that the velocities listed on a box of .22 are almost always rifle velocities, and handguns will have substantially less
They are still hauling. a Stinger out of a short barrel is moving and will go 10-12 inches into a gel block if not farther depending on pistol legnth.

You didn't have to pull the trigger, unlike the bigger brothers. I wondered about the rimfire striker.
