Melancholy Mario Levels 1-3 TAS

Happy New Year everyone. This was one of the very first kaizo hacks that I've seen take some precaution for people like me to come along and break it. There are still a couple breaks, but things like walljumping over a giant wall to run to the finish or corner clip in some place were scarce. There's two more levels to this hack, but I don't know if I want to continue on this TAS.

Could you not have jumped out of the water at 2:44?

I actually did that at first, but I do not believe there is any other way to get in the door without the key. You could use the pow, but you must hit it to get passed the brown block.

I was referring to getting the key faster, after all, you have to swim against the current, so I would assume a jump out of the water.
