    Very nice review and video. Thanks. Does the 2020 SGS have LED headlamp and signals?

    Some really nice colors this year,going to my local Harley Dealer on Saturday to see whet they have already in stock. I know in Canada it does take a bit longer to get the new bikes. I will see what i can test ride,and make videos of lol

    I just put the Monkey bars 14" on my street glide bike. Amazing on the curves and handling. My question is WHY?

    Good review, you're the only one I've seen so far that mentioned the lack of a heel shifter. Also the hill start assist wasn't mentioned in the new package by anyone I've watched so that's also great to know! 🤘

      Unfortunately, Many People these days that do reviews dont even really know anything about the bikes they ride. I'm not saying I know it all but I have Worked for Harley Davidson for 6 years now so I can Provide some real Answers in Reviews (to the best of my ability). Never know what your going to get in a review and it's troublesome. Thats the whole reason I started this channel.

    Hi Jax, you're the first I think with a review of a 2020 model. Even though the bikes haven't changed much I am not too enthousiastic about the 2020 colors. I liked the 2018/2019 colors better. In person it will change probably. Looking forward to more reviews.

    As a long term Harley rider (56 years) I must say that I have purchased my last NEW Harley. They simply do not get all the bugs out of their new machines before they sell them to the public. The end result is that you have to take it back for time in their shop for upgrades and repairs. They still have not fixed the transmission migration issue that has been present for over 3 model years. And then you have the sumping issues for Stage III and Stage IV buyers. They just don't seem to be able to get anything right anymore. I think it is time for me to try something else like Indian or maybe a Goldwing. As for your review here, not the most comprehensive but still it was better than that of the average media review.

    Now adding the exhaust does that void the warranty since it’s not a screaming eagle product??

    • @PezRacer
      @PezRacer 4 года назад

      Bryan Hammond it’s my understanding that slip ons don’t void the warranty.

      PezRacer okay.. I stopped by my local dealer and asked them the same question and they said it will.. has to be a screaming eagle product tuner as well as pipes.. so I’m not sure if they are covering their own butt or not.. just like to get the same answer from everyone..

    I just noticed this on your video man. Is the flap vent feature open all of the time now? And what was the reason for Harley doing it if you know why?

    • @angrymotorman1237
      @angrymotorman1237 4 года назад

      When the vent is open it help with the wind buffeting. On the Electra glide standard it's not an option to close it. But when its open it makes the wind go more over your head than at it.

    • @coop4274
      @coop4274 4 года назад +1

      BigOG TT all 2020 batwing bikes got rid of the button to open and close that vent. It remains open all the time now. Also lost the heel shifter and come with only one key fob now.

    What are some thoughts on someone coming from a 250 dual sport, think that’s doable?

    • @fastjax
      @fastjax  3 года назад

      I think it's Absolutely Doable, The Biggest part to get over about the Bigger bikes is in your head I've noticed. (That was the case with me and some others anyway) Once you get over the weight in your head you'll find a lot of them are better balanced and provide a confident and very balanced ride. hope this helps

      Unfortunately, Due to the Volume of comments I receive. Some get lost or are never seen. This one was just cycled up I assume. They are just standard Rinehart 4.5 slip ons, They do make a performance version now called the DBX 4.5. So if you want these specifically just make sure they are not DBX, They DBX just has a more Aggressive Baffle. Thanks for the Support.

    Lol, bike is out for like 2 days and YEAH LETS VOID THAT WARRANTY IMMEDIATELY.
    XD
    Does your dealer cover aftermarket powertrain sorta stuff like this?
    Also, just a request, if you get a River Rock and Black Fat Boy, Can you do a review on it? I wanna see that color on the bike in more than just photos. I'm considering dropping my search for a legend blue deniem and getting the river rock grey one instead.

    • @fastjax
      @fastjax  4 года назад +1

      Yes in fact, Bars and slip ons should not void your warranty. Coming from the motorcompany itself, as long as you dont use an aftermarket tuner on your exhaust/slip ons your good from what they told me. Slips-ons should never void your warranty, if your dealer is telling you that, find a new dealer ;)

      @@fastjax FYI John Maxwell says in his warranty video that slip on exhausts void your power train warranty. It seems dealerships interpret their own warranty policy or "version", which is doing customers a disservice.

      Jeff Tilghman----> I'm 5'11'' tall and I sat on customers 2019 Street glide that had 14" inch Paul Yafe handlebars on it, and my arms and hands were straight in line with my shoulders. This felt VERY comfortable. In fact, the most comfortable that I've ever felt sitting on any Harley. The stock handlebars on my 2020 FLHT standard, which are the same handlebars that are installed on the 2020 Street glide too, make me lean down and put my wrist at an uncomfortable angle.

      I avoided them for years. I didn't care for the way they looked. After 550mi day on my Springer I was done with the low bars. I installed 14in and was blown away. The bike was instantly more comfortable and handled so much better. But to each their own.
