How come you are not doing this test on the ever popular LS1? A 5.7 l? It would be great if you could do one on that test so we can see how much power the 5.7 makes with the nice Cam and a huge exhaust. Like a kooks setup. There are thousands of us who own 5.7 LS1s we would love to see this test on our engine
Would love to see the FAST 102 vs Sniper EFI Duel Plenum 102/92mm on a 408 stroker. Been looking at the Sniper intake lately but there is not much about it.
I have a 2002 5.3 I’m installing one and 34 inch headers, a 92 mm fast intake with the truck north cam I will be running the stock heads from the LM7 what else do you think I could do to get a little more low in torque
Question: what size injectors should I run with the LSXR102 intake and throttle body? They are going on a stock LS1 in a 99 Trans Am WS6, going to be boosted later

Richard I need some advice, basically I’m new to this and right now I have the time to do things I’ve wanted to I’ve begun collecting parts for my 5.3 vortec, but I’m trying to get my hands on a 6.0 motor itself to work on separately since my 5.3 is my daily and getting me around reliably, I bought a aftermarket ls3 throttle body 102mm, fast 102 intake, my problem is I’m not sure I got the best cam, I found one practical new for cheap on marketplace, it’s a Texas speed 212/218 .550/.550 112 LSA. Along w some springs and pushrods. What would be the best cam for either setup? I can sell this one and buy another if I need to.
Blaine Break, it’s probably not worth it with a stock or mild cam. The factory intake manifold only becomes a restriction once you start making big power.
im confused i just watched another video of yours where you test like 18 intakes and the fast didnt do squat compared to a stock ls3 intake and supposedly truck intakes make more torque and power.so if i have a ls3 style intake with a cam on my l96 6.0 buying a fast 102 intake or even a 10 tb dont do anything,right ? so do i just keep what i have ? i need more torque and power would be nice.
As far as I can tell, Fast uses Glass fibre Nylon 6 or Glass fibre Nylon 6,6. Lots of ford and gm factory intakes are PA66GF, i cant really find the percent GF in the mix. Some factory ford intakes are PA66GF35, which is a high glass content. Simply calling it "polymer" means little. It could be made of cellulose or DNA. These intakes are likely made from Polyamide.

since everyone is always concerned about peak horsepower, yes shorter runners should be used on the 6.0 in this test.

I would love to see the difference between victor Jr intake with fast efi 2.0 vs fast lsxr 102mm. Can you show us the hp difference between the two?

That's a good Street cam that shouldn't be too bad for a daily. 112 LSA will be fine with a decent tuner
Sooo the upgraded manifold wouldn’t do much if you just had a cam and other bolt ons 🤔 or would it? I’m stuck between is it worth it or not.

This is on a cathedral head. Which the fast gains way more on these vs the ls3 version
