Round 7 did a great job of showing what actual PERFORMING is all about. Yeah, AS a singing competition. But they can all sing. All the kids went through years upon years of musical education before stepping onto the stage. Having a good enough voice alone won't do the trick. The audience is very attentive to everything a performer does. They need to be as perfect as possible, because everything counts. Your appearance, your moves, your energy, your aura, your mood. A single slip up can ruin the whole performance, and there's almost no way of hiding it. Hundreds of eyes locked onto you alone, your face broadcasted on a gigantic screen up close. You must have full control of yourself. In his interview Luka said he was hoping to go against a worthy opponent in the finals, and he got his wish granted. Till is 2nd on the popularity chart and as talented as Luka himself. And he did not disappoint. This time around, the score isn't shown in numbers, but in two bars, green and purple. And throughout the video we can see that they're bouncing at approximately the same level which stayed the same until the end. Luka won by a very small margin. So it's evident that Till was very popular too. He had his own signature style and amassed a heavy fan following. But. That's where the importance of the art of performing comes in. Luka doesn't just sing when he comes onto the stage. He transforms. He stops being 'human' and becomes 'entertainment'. He completely and utterly focuses on pleasing the audience. He is very consistent in maintaining a particular persona throughout the whole performance. The image he portrays, his movements, the tone of his voice, all of these captivate the audience, even we viewers can't take our eyes off of him. His ethereal, suave, charming aura grips our attention and doesn't let go. He's like a siren. And he is extremely aware of himself and his surroundings, controlling his facial expressions at all times and only letting himself loose when he knows the audience can't see it. He never lets anyone catch him slipping. But Luka knows even all that is not enough. He is a veteran in the industry, and knows all to well how fickle the audience is. It's kind of like real life in that regard. People are consumers. They are extremely judgemental of celebrities and get bored very quickly. No matter how popular a musician/group is, they will inevitably fall off, it's only a matter of time. That's just how people are. Give us younger, newer, fresher! When the old stuff stops giving them that dopamine rush, they move on to something new, no matter how good the previous thing was. In real life what it means for celebrities is career decline, but in Alien Stage it's literal death. And when it comes to survival, anything is fair game. And Luka does utilise any means possible. He examines and analyzes his opponents extremely carefully to find the weak spots and strikes like a snake. Carefully, subtly, but deadly. He manipulates people into feeling what he wants them to feel. He resurfaces trauma, he drives to rage fits, panic attacks, meltdowns. He triggers and manipulates, but does it so delicately and masterfully that the audience doesn't suspect anything even for a moment. His own emotions are always in check, always in full control, until the very end. Luka is the perfect performer. But Till is different. As a musician, he's good. He can sing, he can compose, has his own unique style, a bright, distinct personality. When he's passionate and driven, he's unstoppable. But this explosiveness that makes him great as a musician is also detrimental to his status as a performer. Till is an extremely emotional person, and has little control over his emotions. Outside circumstances have too much influence on his mental state. When he's on stage, he keeps being 'human', he can't discard his feelings and inner turmoil, can't properly concentrate on the performance and the audience. It's way too easy to take him off balance. He needs outside support to channel his feelings and emotions correctly or he ends up self destructing. His fiery personality, which in and of itself is what makes him unique and draws people in, is the reason for his downfall as a performer. He can't captivate the audience's attention from beginning to end, he can't stay consistent, he can't detach from his emotions. And he actually doesn't even value the audience. He doesn't sing to entertain, he sings to express his feelings. In R2 he was singing for Mizi, but in R6 she wasn't there, so he couldn't even muster up the mental fortitude to keep singing halfway through, he gave up. Here in R7 he was singing just to survive until the moment he noticed Mizi, and the difference is stark. His voice got stronger, more hopeful and determined, his rating shot up. But in the end it's all thanks to Mizi. If she didn't come, he would just succumb to his trauma and get completely outshined by Luka. Till's problem is that he pours his emotions into his music at all times. It's always so obvious what he's feeling, and while it's a good thing when he's upbeat, it's a serious disadvantage when he's not. And with how sensitive Till is, it's way too easy to manipulate his emotional state and ruin his performance in mere moments. A weakness like this is completely unacceptable for a performer. Till is like a niche indie musician, Luka is like a worldwide superstar. Till is always real, he is incapable of being fake. Luka can be fake, and so perfectly fake that it feels real. That's why Luka always wins.
here’s another thing I noticed, in the first half of the song, where they’re both playing their instruments, Till’s guitar stand out more than luka’s violin, and it seems that the violin is just background for the guitar, however, in the second half, Luka’s violin takes the lead, which I think shows who the power and control belongs to in the moment (like how till, after being emotionally attacked by luka, became weak and exhausted, and luka took over the entire song) p.s. someone pls pls see this bc I rlly want someone too ❤️

I just realized something: The reason Luka was able to stay on top was because he, unlike all the other kids at Anact Garden, is alone. He's got no attachment other than Hyuna (like how Mizi and Sua are together, or how Ivan is infatuated with Till, and probably how many other contestant has their own loved ones) and she's not even on the stage, this is probably how he's able to secure his spot, emotional warfare and playing with grief, he's got nothing to lose after all. Until now maybe, now that Hyuna's here.
Luka's an experiment baby!! He was practically experimented to be *perfect* (its canon btw!! If you look closely, in his chest there are scars, and the whole reason why he's smaller than most children in the anakt garden and his purple fingertips are the drawbacks of the multiple experimentation the aliens did to him)
He also probably turned off Till's microphone when he got close to him bc after that the light in Till's microphone turned red while Luka's was still green. Then we can see how Luka gets 1st place. Also, Luka got worried when he saw Mizi because he noticed that Till's mic was on again !!
@@Fryingchurros correction, that wasn't just a microphone, and Luka didn't turn it off, it was actually an earpiece connected to the beat of their hearts (canon by lore in the anakt garden children book), red meaning in danger (heart beating faster, etc) and green meaning normal (relief, confidence (in luka's earpiece) and etc!!)
yk the bittersweet thing about this is that till was suffering so much and he went through so much to the point where his body couldn’t keep up, he probably just wanted everything to end anyways and atleast he got to see mizi before he died. that was the most genuine smile we’ve seen from him and i think that’s beautiful
That's what I'm saying. It was clear-Till was tired and on the verge of giving up, especially when Luka imitated Ivan. Till was shaken, maybe by guilt, regret-probably both. But it was enough to shake him, and he knew right then that he was about to lose. Then he saw Mizi. He didn’t sing anymore; he reached for her one last time, because she is his only ray of hope, as she’s always been. The memory that played in his mind was of Mizi. It hurts me to think that they’re trapped in this game, feeling like no one cares for them-as we saw in Ivan’s case. It’s clear they care for each other. It’s so sad, but I’m happy to see Luka and Hyuna reunited. I can’t wait to know more about their lore.
Never ask a Till fan what happened on October 25, 2024. Not only am I bawling my eyes out I am also timbering in my shivers. I love my glorious king Till, nothing screams more depression than round 7 for a Till fan. Im gonna go blink gone now
When I saw how She brightly smiles with him-That memory was her's not Till's memory hurts so bad💔 because Till remembers her as someone he looks up to, a person so bright and friendly but for some reason she seems so far from touch when in fact she thinks Till is someone dear. She could've been gone for good yk instead she came back but still didn't make it to the end well maybe she did came to the end of her life cause she's back in the Alien's stage🥹
Something that I love about Alien Stage is that it has no dialogue, it's just the songs and visuals. Despite that the story is amazingly written and easy to understand.
The fact Till was brought down by the memory of Ivan, making it seem like he was gonna give up again. But when he saw Mizi he got motivated to continue (but still lost in the end). He still is blinded by the moon that he can’t see the stars beyond it.
in a way I feel like he’s not inherently blinded, she’s just someone he loves and has shown affection towards. although he’s probably not aware of how much Ivan cared for him, i feel as if everyone is “blind” with their love in alien stage; from sua and ivan sacrificing themselves, to till seeing mizi and immediately seeing her as a ray of light. it’s tragic till didn’t see ivan as romantic; however it is very meaningful as they all had each other as their purpose for living or sacrificing themselves. because in the end, till cared about the two, loved them- just in two different ways. romantic for mizi, and platonic for ivan. just because he doesn’t reciprocate Ivan’s feelings romantically doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about him. they had a mutual friendship and so i wish people in alienstage wouldn’t specifically go off and dictate it as “oh, he still loves mizi!!” as if that’s not a known thing 😭
I find it absolutely insane that during the choruses, most of Till's lines are about repeating the same message: "in a blink gone". He foreshadows his own doom and repeats it, sets it to a beat, drills it like a mantra into your head. Meanwhile Luka is throwing out the other lines that balance the "blink gones", all while bedazzling himself, putting on a show, and talking about (in the lyrics) enjoying the moment and forgetting everything else.
Actually they switch lines with each other First chorus: Till says blink gone, While Luka is the second voice Second chorus: Luka says blink gone, While Till is the second voice The last part is them mixed
what makes TILL's death even more tragic is the fact that he was at the verge of dying, wanting everything to end immediately bc of MIZI's disappearance & his guilt of IVAN's death, he had no hope or desire to live but then when he saw MIZI, he finally found a reason to live and was ready to fight back but it was too late 😭 still he gave his best for this performance knowing IVAN's sacrifice , proud of my boi😭

Luka's victory felt so heavy, you could FEEL the weight of what just happened in every note. And Till... Till gave EVERYTHING in his last performance. I'm literally still processing what I just watched. The composers and writers really said "let's destroy our fans emotions today" and they succeeded!

No, he didn't give his "everything", and that's the problem. "A musical genius", "a rebel" - and so what?? How did it help him? He rebelled more successfully in round 2 when he killed an alien - why couldn't he do something as crazy this time? Mizi was able to beat the sh*t out of Luka during her round - why couldn't Till do the same? Why hasn't vivinos made Till do something heroic, meaningful like saving Mizi for example? It's because vivinos doesn't care about Till's character, that's why. She completely wasted his potential and botched him real hard.
i loved how all the aliens cheered after sua, ivan and till came back alive, and how the cast held hands and left anakt garden together! thank you vivinos for delivering us such a happy ending!

Everyone talks about Ivan, Luka and Till but what I liked most about the video is realizing that Mizi did not escape without Till, although she could do, just like he didn't when he had the chance as a child!! I don't expect Mizi to love Till romantically, BUT I love seeing that he is an important person for her no matter what kind of love it is (family, friendship, or whatever)
this is exactly what i think i think she tried so hard to save him because he was the only one left out of all their friends from the garden the only memory of them of them being children and not fighting for their lives

I come back here every day and I just wanna say. I’ve been here since suki suki daisuki. Since round 1. I love how I watched the characters GROW UP, mentally and physically. It’s so immersive. Which is exactly what she just tried to do, even holding her hand out the same way. That shot in round 6 and how it mirrors the shot here was what I was referring to. I don't think it's wrong, especially in this situation, to want someone to help you. The idea of a damsel in distress is a reductive one to start with. *Everyone* is a "damsel in distress" at some point in their life. Wanting to be saved is not a moral failure, and is, in fact, perfectly natural in a situation like this. It doesn't reduce or diminish his character and I find it reductive to act like it does. I think being worried about her, being angry at himself for not being able to help her, and wanting her to come back and wanting to be helped are all feelings that can and in my opinion, for Till, DO exist at the same time. He wanted to save her, and he also wanted to be saved.

에일리언 스테이지 해피엔딩 추리를 해보자면 틸 이반 수아는 죽지 않았음 (일단 내 뇌피셜은 아님 나도 들은거) 먼저 루카 이반 현아는 반란군임. 그래서 각자의 역할이 있음 일단 루카는 지난 시즌 우승자 인데 굳이 나올 필요가 없는데 나옴 이 말은 즉슨 어떤 목적이 있다는거. 그래서 루카는 삶의 의지를 잃은 상대를 트라우마로 자극을 해서 화나게 만듦. 트라우마로 자극을 하는 이유가 5라운드 때 수아 때문에 삶의 의지를 잃은 미지를 자극해서 화나게 했기에 미지는 루카를 때렸음.= 반항을 함 반항을 했으니까 일단 죽이진 않고 진정제를 놓고 데려감. 라운드5를 자세히보묜 이 때 반란군인 현아가 미지를 데려가면서 현아와 루카가 눈빛 교환을 함 그러고 미지를 탈출시킴. (대충 트라우마를 자극해서 진정제를 놓개 하는게 루카의 역할) 그리고 이반은 많은 실험을 당했고, 라운드3에서 보면 틸과 탈출 하려고 했 듯이 탈출구를 알고 있어서 현아를 먼저 탈출 시킴. 라운드6에서 이반의 상대는 틸이었는데 원래 틸도 트라우마로 자극을 했었어야 했지만 미지는 죽은게 아니라 사라진것이기 때문에 트라우마로 자극할 수가 없음. 그렇기에 자신이 틸의 트라우마로 남으려고 틸에게 키스를 하고 목을 조른 것 (목을 조를 때 그렇게 세게 힘을 주지 않았음. 그래서 틸의 표정이 태평했던 것.) 그러고 이반은 진정제를 맞고 쓰러짐. 0:47 그 시각 미지를 구출해낸 현아와 미지는 이들을 구하려고 뭘 하는 것 처럼 보임 1:58 루카는 미지에게 했던 것 처럼 틸을 트라우마로 화나게 만드려고 함 1:19 하지만 작전을 모르는 미지는 틸을 구하려고 나감. = 작전이 흐트러짐 3:00 작전대로 흘러가지 않아 표정을 찡그림 3:10 그래서 결국엔 틸이 목에 총을 맞음.=진정제가 아니기에 빨리 치료를 해야함. 3:55 작전이 망해서 서로를 멍 하니 쳐다봄. 그 시각 이반은 실험을 당하고 있는 수아를 구해주러 가고 있을 것임. 이반도 실험을 많이 당해봐서 실험실 위치를 알것임. 그리고 수아가 죽지 않은 이유는 일러스트에서 눈을 붕대로 감은 일러스트가 있는데 그게 수아임. 분명 멀쩡했던 눈이 갑자기 그렇게 됨=실험을 당함 그렇기에 이반은 수아를 구하러 갈 것임. + 그 뒤에는 어떻게 되냐 이건 내 뇌피셜인데 마지막에 스페셜 게스트로 미지와 현아가 있는 것을 보면 스페셜 라운드가 있을 거 같음 근데 또 미지와 현아가 대결 하려다가 현아가 미지보고 틸을 데리고 얼른 가라고 할 거 같음 미지와 틸의 탈출을 듀이와 아이작이 도와주고 그대로 현아와 루카가 스페셜 라운드를 할 거 같음. 근데 현아는 부상을 당해서 제대로 노래를 부르지 못하고 총에 맞거나 아니면 듀이와 아이작이 도와줄거 같음.

No wonder Luka’s survived several competitions like this one. He’s a pro at exploiting the others’ weaknesses and a good performer at the same time. Talent to perform alone is not enough to win.
I dont remeber where I read this, but I think is kinda right. When Luka got close to Till's ear and whispered something, Till pressed a button and the light on microphone by his hear turned read. Thats when Till started to like, go down. On the other side, Luka's light kept being green. After the victory being defined, and Till having already recognized Mizi, he kinda pressed the button again and it turned green. This means that probably Luka sabotaged Till by telling him something like "oh your microphone is off, turn it on!", and Till doing it and ending up turning it off.
"Blink, gone" really summarises everything up till this point. *In a blink of an eye,* Till's life is cut short with Mizi, finally, looking at him. Just him. *In a blink of an eye,* Mizi loses the last remnant of her past: Sua; her long pink hair, she had since childhood; and finally Till, as she stands alone amongst the crowd, with nothing connecting her to the person she used to be. Unrecognisable, the last person to even recognise her-having died then and there *In a blink of an eye,* everything Hyuna has built crumbles before her, set again onto the prison she thought she had escaped from. And *in a blink of an eye,* Luka's cocky facade crumbles as he is confronted by the past, he thought had escaped him. All their lives inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, just entertainment-just a _blink!_ and it's gone. Edit 1: Also want to add that throughout the song, there's a motif about relishing the present and leaving no regrets. How we should all live in the moment because it'll be just a blink then gone. In the beginning, it's *Luka* who sings these lyrics about _"not missing the moment"_ and _"leaving no regrets",_ his tone and movements, provocative and cocky with a *false smile* throughout. However, by the end it's *Till* who sings about them, with a sincere smile on his face unlike Luka. Mizi finally looking at him, and not just in his way. Straight at him, as he dies without regret, looking straight back at her. Luka on the other hand? In the face of Hyuna. *His fake smile disappears,* as he's taken aback, his face shock full of emotion. Real emotion, for once full of life-full of regret. Making us question, who truly is at loss. Edit 2: I just realised one of the reasons why Till lost was because until Mizi, he wasn't in "the moment". Hence why Ivan appears on the screen during the sequences where it sings _"forget everything and just enjoy"_ and _"don't miss the moment"_ while multiple repeated _"blink on[s]"_ play representing how Ivan-whose persistence that annoyed Till seemed forever, until it was simply _blink_ and gone! Till in some sick way lost because of Ivan's success in Round 6. Ivan underestimated the affect his 'mark' would leave on Till, hoping that Mizi would be enough to keep Till going, which could've been the case *if it weren't for the kiss.* Ivan's last and first act of selfishness, which was to take space in Till's mind, filled Till with guilt as he reminisces about the past-full of regret over what happened to Ivan. It's why Luka does the choke thing! He's feeding off Till's regrets just like he did with Mizi. It's also why at the end, despite having technically lost, _Till is the true winner,_ because at the end he let go of his regret (Ivan) and focused on the moment (Mizi). While Luka is confronted by his past in Hyuna. In fact, you could say that everyone besides Till *lost.* Both Luka and Hyuna unwillingly confront the past in each other. While, Mizi was so blinded by the *past* (Till) and any remnants of her old life, that in that _moment,_ sacrificed the *future* by compromising her and Hyuna's mission. Till won because he was in the moment with Mizi. Mizi lost because she was in the moment with Till. _"Neither yesterday or tomorrow exist for me"_

@@Sweetrush23 see, Ivan and Sua were wearing all white at the time they died, willing to give it all to the person they loved, but not Till, Till put up a fight and tried to live until the last second but eventually gives up after so much pain and agony, that changes when he sees Mizi again, but then he gets shot... and lives only long enough to be in her arms before he passes too :( good thing they all managed to die "happily" in a way at least...

I absolutely love the fact that even thought Till was clearly affected by Luka impersonating Ivan, he kept singing with everything he got right till the very end. I’m so proud of him
He was clearly on the verge of giving up, losing hope in the final minutes. He fought to the end, but when he saw Mizi, I think that’s when he realized he wasn’t going to win. Instead of continuing to sing, he just stopped and reached for her one last time.
The fact Luka during the WHOLE MV was SUPER different from the one we've seen in Round 5 is SUCH a good detail, I honestly thought he was a whole different person in this MV. Really goes to show how his character took the character impersonation trait LITERALLY. First he acted reserved and gentle like Sua, now there's the little Ivan smug and THE EYES (FR THO THE EYES IS GIVING IVAN THE WHOLE MV HHHH)
I do love that he's not completely gone though. I think in the end then Smugness is his own. Ivan was never smug to Till nor when he preformed. But the softness of his eyes and how he smiled, placed his hands and the how he sang were def Ivan. In the end Luka can't help but know he already won beofre it even began so he plays the part but eventually his real personality shows cause at this point he doesn't care who he is, he already knows he's won.
I love how Luka mainly sings the parts about enjoying yourself and relishing the moment like Till mainly sings the "Blink, gone" until Mizi shows up. It really reinforced the feeling Till felt when losing everything he knew in these twisted shows, especially Ivan. It was one blink of an eye and he was gone forever. But Luka knows how to work the crowd, entertaining them as he pleases. Gosh, it killed me when he started to sing again. Trying his hardest to impress her. Then I'm kicked again while 6-feet down (like Ivan and now Till haha 😭) when that soft little instrument chimes in Till's memories. You can tell she isn't feeling the same way as him, she's not in love, but Mizi cares for Till so compassionately. I think I wanted to cry when the chimes started to hit, something about their sound felt so nostalgic. It was loving, it was tender, but it was sad. It was like a lost memory that I knew I lost but I couldn't remember what. It was the scene of it fading away in my mind just as Till's mind started shutting off. What hurts more is that it could've been a memory of Ivan, but his portrayal is through a deep red and glitching effect like a nightmare. What about the stars, what about the laughter, what about the moment you felt alive? It was all Mizi and it was till the end, because everything death is more than a loss of life when it comes to Alien Stage- it's a loss of what could've been.
The way Till can recognise Mizi in a crowd full of people. The way his memories of her/with her are soft, a genuine happiness and admiration even in a dangerous situation. The way he reached out to her in his final moments, trying to touch her hand when he drew his final breath. The way Till only remembers Ivan as a painful memory. The way Till barely remembers the memory of the meteor shower, while it was a vivid, important one for Ivan. The way Vivinos keep shattering my heart with each update.

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABT THE LINE DISTRIBUTION??? Luka's lines are more calm, i.e. "forget everything and just enjoy". He's confident and uncaring in this conversation. His lines are more taunting, but could also been seen as manipulating his audience. Plus, him having all the longer lines shows that he's leading the song. Till's lines are shorter, talk about fading out, plus they're more powerful. It shows that he's stressed, and foreshadows his death. It's like he's desperately trying to make a statement but no one is listening, repeating the same thing over and over again hoping that someone hear's him, understands him and his situation everything was in "a blink, gone". So when he sees Mizi, he knows that someone is listening, someone understands and he starts to take control, gaining more confidence away from that confusion AND THEN HE DIES AHAJWHHUH (I did my lit mocks so I'm required to analyse structure)
I'm writing out the song rn and I realized at (1:10) Luka's solo is actually just copying Till's. When Till realizes, he plays that big guitar riff, like you said, desperately trying to make a statement. Luka follows it up with the previous line again, repeating it as if he were mocking him.
Luka being able to play the violin is so on brand it’s hilarious, matches his aloof, classy, and arrogant personality perfectly. It’s an instrument that requires extreme precision and planning too.
I don't think I can ever explain what the memory at 3:18 made me feel and continue to feel even after having watched this video HOURS ago. I cannot stop thinking of how the xylophone is the drop of Mizi's tears and how this is Till remembering a memory (how I took it) something about it makes my mind nags with the question of what other memories passed through in those few moments
I can't wait for the next part! I was really hoping Mizi and Till would be able to make it out and have a chance at a future, but man this series is full of heartbreak 💔
The audience is full of aliens. Till saw a single pink haired human girl and most likely thought it was Mizi. Since social interactions outside the garden is probably not encouraged among humans and that they are bred and held in captivity, they'd just associate a familiar feature with those that they know.
His voice is filled with desperation to win because Luka is too popular, and Luka feels relaxed and calm because he knows he’s the favored. I feel bad for Till. Luka can be too arrogant, but it IS a survival competition…

the way till had a tiny glimpse of hope while in the midst of disaster after seeing mizi, only for it all to be for nothing, it was beautiful, i also loved how luka used his manipulation tactic on till too, and it all fell right into his hands. this was BEAUTIFUL.
Its the way Till didnt have any room or time to process the love Ivan had for him because he was then immediately forced into survival mode. In such a short time, the only thing he kept of Ivan was the trauma of seeing him die, which was taken advantage of before he could even come to terms with. In the end, Mizi was his light, and Ivan his dark sorrow.
Look how much more animated Till is here than in round 6, where he seemed to have given up. He went from accepting his fate to desperately trying not to waste the chance Ivan gave him.

And I think the theme of tillmizi relationship had a great potential (Till sacrificing himself for her, e.g.) but vivimeng buried it along with Till's potential character development. It remained the least developed and that's why the least impactful relationship (at least for most of alnst audience), which is just a shame.

I like Luka and Till’s dynamic, Luka is craving for Hyuna’s love and attention while Till doesn’t even realize someone else is craving for his love and attention too.
My favorite part was when Ivan and sua came down from heaven, held hands, and the whole cast said we are ALIEN STAGE! and then the crowd was cheering and they all went to go get ice cream after! Such a heartwarming ending!! 💗

Round 7 did a great job of showing what actual PERFORMING is all about.
Yeah, AS a singing competition. But they can all sing. All the kids went through years upon years of musical education before stepping onto the stage. Having a good enough voice alone won't do the trick.
The audience is very attentive to everything a performer does. They need to be as perfect as possible, because everything counts. Your appearance, your moves, your energy, your aura, your mood. A single slip up can ruin the whole performance, and there's almost no way of hiding it. Hundreds of eyes locked onto you alone, your face broadcasted on a gigantic screen up close. You must have full control of yourself.
In his interview Luka said he was hoping to go against a worthy opponent in the finals, and he got his wish granted. Till is 2nd on the popularity chart and as talented as Luka himself. And he did not disappoint. This time around, the score isn't shown in numbers, but in two bars, green and purple. And throughout the video we can see that they're bouncing at approximately the same level which stayed the same until the end. Luka won by a very small margin. So it's evident that Till was very popular too. He had his own signature style and amassed a heavy fan following.
But.
That's where the importance of the art of performing comes in.
Luka doesn't just sing when he comes onto the stage. He transforms. He stops being 'human' and becomes 'entertainment'. He completely and utterly focuses on pleasing the audience. He is very consistent in maintaining a particular persona throughout the whole performance. The image he portrays, his movements, the tone of his voice, all of these captivate the audience, even we viewers can't take our eyes off of him. His ethereal, suave, charming aura grips our attention and doesn't let go. He's like a siren. And he is extremely aware of himself and his surroundings, controlling his facial expressions at all times and only letting himself loose when he knows the audience can't see it. He never lets anyone catch him slipping.
But Luka knows even all that is not enough. He is a veteran in the industry, and knows all to well how fickle the audience is. It's kind of like real life in that regard. People are consumers. They are extremely judgemental of celebrities and get bored very quickly. No matter how popular a musician/group is, they will inevitably fall off, it's only a matter of time. That's just how people are. Give us younger, newer, fresher! When the old stuff stops giving them that dopamine rush, they move on to something new, no matter how good the previous thing was. In real life what it means for celebrities is career decline, but in Alien Stage it's literal death. And when it comes to survival, anything is fair game.
And Luka does utilise any means possible. He examines and analyzes his opponents extremely carefully to find the weak spots and strikes like a snake. Carefully, subtly, but deadly. He manipulates people into feeling what he wants them to feel. He resurfaces trauma, he drives to rage fits, panic attacks, meltdowns. He triggers and manipulates, but does it so delicately and masterfully that the audience doesn't suspect anything even for a moment. His own emotions are always in check, always in full control, until the very end. Luka is the perfect performer.
But Till is different. As a musician, he's good. He can sing, he can compose, has his own unique style, a bright, distinct personality. When he's passionate and driven, he's unstoppable. But this explosiveness that makes him great as a musician is also detrimental to his status as a performer. Till is an extremely emotional person, and has little control over his emotions. Outside circumstances have too much influence on his mental state. When he's on stage, he keeps being 'human', he can't discard his feelings and inner turmoil, can't properly concentrate on the performance and the audience. It's way too easy to take him off balance. He needs outside support to channel his feelings and emotions correctly or he ends up self destructing. His fiery personality, which in and of itself is what makes him unique and draws people in, is the reason for his downfall as a performer. He can't captivate the audience's attention from beginning to end, he can't stay consistent, he can't detach from his emotions. And he actually doesn't even value the audience. He doesn't sing to entertain, he sings to express his feelings. In R2 he was singing for Mizi, but in R6 she wasn't there, so he couldn't even muster up the mental fortitude to keep singing halfway through, he gave up. Here in R7 he was singing just to survive until the moment he noticed Mizi, and the difference is stark. His voice got stronger, more hopeful and determined, his rating shot up. But in the end it's all thanks to Mizi. If she didn't come, he would just succumb to his trauma and get completely outshined by Luka.
Till's problem is that he pours his emotions into his music at all times. It's always so obvious what he's feeling, and while it's a good thing when he's upbeat, it's a serious disadvantage when he's not. And with how sensitive Till is, it's way too easy to manipulate his emotional state and ruin his performance in mere moments. A weakness like this is completely unacceptable for a performer.
Till is like a niche indie musician, Luka is like a worldwide superstar.
Till is always real, he is incapable of being fake. Luka can be fake, and so perfectly fake that it feels real.
That's why Luka always wins.

here’s another thing I noticed, in the first half of the song, where they’re both playing their instruments, Till’s guitar stand out more than luka’s violin, and it seems that the violin is just background for the guitar, however, in the second half, Luka’s violin takes the lead, which I think shows who the power and control belongs to in the moment (like how till, after being emotionally attacked by luka, became weak and exhausted, and luka took over the entire song) p.s. someone pls pls see this bc I rlly want someone too ❤️

I just realized something: The reason Luka was able to stay on top was because he, unlike all the other kids at Anact Garden, is alone. He's got no attachment other than Hyuna (like how Mizi and Sua are together, or how Ivan is infatuated with Till, and probably how many other contestant has their own loved ones) and she's not even on the stage, this is probably how he's able to secure his spot, emotional warfare and playing with grief, he's got nothing to lose after all. Until now maybe, now that Hyuna's here.
Luka's an experiment baby!! He was practically experimented to be *perfect* (its canon btw!! If you look closely, in his chest there are scars, and the whole reason why he's smaller than most children in the anakt garden and his purple fingertips are the drawbacks of the multiple experimentation the aliens did to him)
He also probably turned off Till's microphone when he got close to him bc after that the light in Till's microphone turned red while Luka's was still green. Then we can see how Luka gets 1st place.

yk the bittersweet thing about this is that till was suffering so much and he went through so much to the point where his body couldn’t keep up, he probably just wanted everything to end anyways and atleast he got to see mizi before he died. that was the most genuine smile we’ve seen from him and i think that’s beautiful
That's what I'm saying. It was clear-Till was tired and on the verge of giving up, especially when Luka imitated Ivan. Till was shaken, maybe by guilt, regret-probably both. But it was enough to shake him, and he knew right then that he was about to lose. Then he saw Mizi. He didn’t sing anymore; he reached for her one last time, because she is his only ray of hope, as she’s always been. The memory that played in his mind was of Mizi. It hurts me to think that they’re trapped in this game, feeling like no one cares for them-as we saw in Ivan’s case.
It’s clear they care for each other. It’s so sad, but I’m happy to see Luka and Hyuna reunited. I can’t wait to know more about their lore.

in a way I feel like he’s not inherently blinded, she’s just someone he loves and has shown affection towards. although he’s probably not aware of how much Ivan cared for him, i feel as if everyone is “blind” with their love in alien stage; from sua and ivan sacrificing themselves, to till seeing mizi and immediately seeing her as a ray of light. it’s tragic till didn’t see ivan as romantic; however it is very meaningful as they all had each other as their purpose for living or sacrificing themselves.
because in the end, till cared about the two, loved them- just in two different ways. romantic for mizi, and platonic for ivan. just because he doesn’t reciprocate Ivan’s feelings romantically doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about him. they had a mutual friendship and so i wish people in alienstage wouldn’t specifically go off and dictate it as “oh, he still loves mizi!!” as if that’s not a known thing 😭
I find it absolutely insane that during the choruses, most of Till's lines are about repeating the same message: "in a blink gone". I don't think it's wrong, especially in this situation, to want someone to help you. The idea of a damsel in distress is a reductive one to start with. *Everyone* is a "damsel in distress" at some point in their life. Wanting to be saved is not a moral failure, and is, in fact, perfectly natural in a situation like this. It doesn't reduce or diminish his character and I find it reductive to act like it does.
I think being worried about her, being angry at himself for not being able to help her, and wanting her to come back and wanting to be helped are all feelings that can and in my opinion, for Till, DO exist at the same time. He wanted to save her, and he also wanted to be saved.

먼저 루카 이반 현아는 반란군임.
그래서 각자의 역할이 있음
일단 루카는 지난 시즌 우승자 인데 굳이 나올 필요가 없는데 나옴 이 말은 즉슨 어떤 목적이 있다는거. 그래서 루카는 삶의 의지를 잃은 상대를 트라우마로 자극을 해서 화나게 만듦.
트라우마로 자극을 하는 이유가 5라운드 때 수아 때문에 삶의 의지를 잃은 미지를 자극해서 화나게 했기에 미지는 루카를 때렸음.= 반항을 함
반항을 했으니까 일단 죽이진 않고 진정제를 놓고 데려감. 라운드5를 자세히보묜 이 때 반란군인 현아가 미지를 데려가면서 현아와 루카가 눈빛 교환을 함 그러고 미지를 탈출시킴.
(대충 트라우마를 자극해서 진정제를 놓개 하는게 루카의 역할)
그리고 이반은 많은 실험을 당했고, 라운드3에서 보면 틸과 탈출 하려고 했 듯이 탈출구를 알고 있어서 현아를 먼저 탈출 시킴.
라운드6에서 이반의 상대는 틸이었는데 원래 틸도 트라우마로 자극을 했었어야 했지만 미지는 죽은게 아니라 사라진것이기 때문에 트라우마로 자극할 수가 없음. 그렇기에 자신이 틸의 트라우마로 남으려고 틸에게 키스를 하고 목을 조른 것 (목을 조를 때 그렇게 세게 힘을 주지 않았음. 그래서 틸의 표정이 태평했던 것.) 그러고 이반은 진정제를 맞고 쓰러짐.

I dont remeber where I read this, but I think is kinda right. When Luka got close to Till's ear and whispered something, Till pressed a button and the light on microphone by his hear turned read. Thats when Till started to like, go down. On the other side, Luka's light kept being green. After the victory being defined, and Till having already recognized Mizi, he kinda pressed the button again and it turned green. This means that probably Luka sabotaged Till by telling him something like "oh your microphone is off, turn it on!", and Till doing it and ending up turning it off.

*In a blink of an eye,* Till's life is cut short with Mizi, finally, looking at him. Just him.
*In a blink of an eye,* Mizi loses the last remnant of her past: Sua; her long pink hair, she had since childhood; and finally Till, as she stands alone amongst the crowd, with nothing connecting her to the person she used to be. Unrecognisable, the last person to even recognise her-having died then and there
*In a blink of an eye,* everything Hyuna has built crumbles before her, set again onto the prison she thought she had escaped from.
And *in a blink of an eye,* Luka's cocky facade crumbles as he is confronted by the past, he thought had escaped him.
All their lives inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, just entertainment-just a _blink!_ and it's gone.
Edit 1: Also want to add that throughout the song, there's a motif about relishing the present and leaving no regrets. How we should all live in the moment because it'll be just a blink then gone.
In the beginning, it's *Luka* who sings these lyrics about _"not missing the moment"_ and _"leaving no regrets",_ his tone and movements, provocative and cocky with a *false smile* throughout. However, by the end it's *Till* who sings about them, with a sincere smile on his face unlike Luka.
Mizi finally looking at him, and not just in his way. Straight at him, as he dies without regret, looking straight back at her.
Luka on the other hand? In the face of Hyuna. *His fake smile disappears,* as he's taken aback, his face shock full of emotion. Real emotion, for once full of life-full of regret. Making us question, who truly is at loss.
Edit 2: I just realised one of the reasons why Till lost was because until Mizi, he wasn't in "the moment". Hence why Ivan appears on the screen during the sequences where it sings _"forget everything and just enjoy"_ and _"don't miss the moment"_ while multiple repeated _"blink on[s]"_ play representing how Ivan-whose persistence that annoyed Till seemed forever, until it was simply _blink_ and gone!
Till in some sick way lost because of Ivan's success in Round 6.
Ivan underestimated the affect his 'mark' would leave on Till, hoping that Mizi would be enough to keep Till going, which could've been the case *if it weren't for the kiss.* Ivan's last and first act of selfishness, which was to take space in Till's mind, filled Till with guilt as he reminisces about the past-full of regret over what happened to Ivan.
It's why Luka does the choke thing! He's feeding off Till's regrets just like he did with Mizi.
It's also why at the end, despite having technically lost, _Till is the true winner,_ because at the end he let go of his regret (Ivan) and focused on the moment (Mizi). While Luka is confronted by his past in Hyuna. In fact, you could say that everyone besides Till *lost.* Both Luka and Hyuna unwillingly confront the past in each other. While, Mizi was so blinded by the *past* (Till) and any remnants of her old life, that in that _moment,_ sacrificed the *future* by compromising her and Hyuna's mission.
Till won because he was in the moment with Mizi.
Mizi lost because she was in the moment with Till.

The fact Luka during the WHOLE MV was SUPER different from the one we've seen in Round 5 is SUCH a good detail, I honestly thought he was a whole different person in this MV. Really goes to show how his character took the character impersonation trait LITERALLY. I love how Luka mainly sings the parts about enjoying yourself and relishing the moment like Till mainly sings the "Blink, gone" until Mizi shows up. It really reinforced the feeling Till felt when losing everything he knew in these twisted shows, especially Ivan. It was one blink of an eye and he was gone forever. But Luka knows how to work the crowd, entertaining them as he pleases.
Gosh, it killed me when he started to sing again. Trying his hardest to impress her. Then I'm kicked again while 6-feet down (like Ivan and now Till haha 😭) when that soft little instrument chimes in Till's memories. You can tell she isn't feeling the same way as him, she's not in love, but Mizi cares for Till so compassionately.
I think I wanted to cry when the chimes started to hit, something about their sound felt so nostalgic. It was loving, it was tender, but it was sad. It was like a lost memory that I knew I lost but I couldn't remember what. It was the scene of it fading away in my mind just as Till's mind started shutting off.
What hurts more is that it could've been a memory of Ivan, but his portrayal is through a deep red and glitching effect like a nightmare. What about the stars, what about the laughter, what about the moment you felt alive? It was all Mizi and it was till the end, because everything death is more than a loss of life when it comes to Alien Stage- it's a loss of what could've been.

The way Till barely remembers the memory of the meteor shower, while it was a vivid, important one for Ivan. The way Vivinos keep shattering my heart with each update.

Luka's lines are more calm, i.e. "forget everything and just enjoy". He's confident and uncaring in this conversation. His lines are more taunting, but could also been seen as manipulating his audience. Plus, him having all the longer lines shows that he's leading the song.
Till's lines are shorter, talk about fading out, plus they're more powerful. It shows that he's stressed, and foreshadows his death. It's like he's desperately trying to make a statement but no one is listening, repeating the same thing over and over again hoping that someone hear's him, understands him and his situation everything was in "a blink, gone". So when he sees Mizi, he knows that someone is listening, someone understands and he starts to take control, gaining more confidence away from that confusion

It remained the least developed and that's why the least impactful relationship (at least for most of alnst audience), which is just a shame.

But also I think it's possible that there will be a comic focusing on Till since they did so with Sua and Ivan, so there's a chance that Till's inner thoughts would be explored more (and particularly regarding his feelings for Mizi), I hope they'll do that
