Yes, you'll get more performance out of the Oro because of the larger burrs. Generally, larger burrs can cut more evenly and faster across a larger surface area while stripping less flavor. Less heat & friction during grinding = more flavor in your cup.
@@vengal6251 That depends on the coffee you're using, its roast level, and other variables. Ideally you should be using a scale to ensure you're getting the same amount of coffee in your portafilter each time. If not, get a grind-by-weight grinder like the Libra or the W Atom series.
Hi there, wondering what your personal preference is between the Libra and the XL? Is there a notable difference in grind quality and taste between these two grinders? Thanks!
Excellent video, really helpful to understand exactly why there are so many grinders in their range.
Excellent! Let us know if you need any help picking one out. Don't be afraid to call us or chat us up!
Clear and concise, great review introducing me to Eureka.
Cheers!
Hi, Great video.
Are there any taste difference between the specialita to the Oro single dose?
Yes, you'll get more performance out of the Oro because of the larger burrs. Generally, larger burrs can cut more evenly and faster across a larger surface area while stripping less flavor. Less heat & friction during grinding = more flavor in your cup.
Does the Silencio have the same time-to-weight accuracy as the Specialita, or is there more than just the interface that differs?
No, the Specialita is more accurate because of the timed digital dosing. The Silenzio has an analog dial or manual mode.
@ oh okey thank you! Do you know how much the dose dose vary for the same setting when trying to pull 15g for example? For both machines?

A significant grind quality difference between the two. Mainly because of the larger burr set on the XL.
which one would you prefare for turkish grind ( very fine ) ?
@@hamwarshwany i wouldn’t use any of them for a Turkish grind.

how is the retention on the libra? How accurate is the weighing? how silent is it compared to the silent models of eureka?
The Libra is the same grinder as the Specialita put with the GBW feature. Retention is about .5g and it's just as quiet as the other models.
Fur fuk sake, how I needed this video! Most of simialar are outdated!
