- Hey Loves! I'm back with another video! Sharing 6 Reasons WHY YOU DO NOT LOVE YOUR #4CNATURALHAIR ! I am speaking from experience. Tell me if you can relate! Who is ready for some #4CHairTips !
Loving your #4c #Naturalhair takes time! I have been natural for about 8years! Here is what I learned!

I really only see people loving and praising 4C hair when it’s long .
And Thick...especially thick hair gets a lot of love
Well be the change in that and praise your hair at whatever stage it’s at....because it’s yours and no one else has hair exactly like you!
True.
michalovesanime so true, when it’s long & thick or when it’s short and thick people love it
LeaziaGrazia because thick most of the time equals healthy
“It’s kinky, it’s fluffy, it’s dense, it’s .... its AMAZING!” 😄❤️😘
We gotta put that on a shirt!
I'm on the journey now sis, I did the big chop and trying to be patient... We'll see lols
I love my hair God took his time making theses little coils n curls feels like cotton
Amen sis !
I followed Naptural85 for years and was always disappointed that my curls were never defined or manageable and would constantly break off because those videos were not for my hair type.I am soo happy there are 4c RUclipsrs like you now, I think finally after 10 years my hair might grow because I am learning my hair type 🤞🏾
YESSSS! When you know your hair type, NOTHING CAN STOP YOU!
I'm 4c, but I still learn a lot from her. I don't expect my hair results to look like hers. I just learn to be gentle and kind to my hair #NoStrandLeftBehind
@@politereminder6284 when I went natural over 10 yrs ago, you would Google and search for 4c help and the only RUclipsr would come up was Naptural85 not sure way Kimmaytube another OG didn't. There was no representation of 4c hair so you didn't know if you were doing the tutorial wrong or if something was wrong with your hair. Because of 4c RUclipsr channels like this I now know when I do Naptural85 tutorials not to do everything exactly like her in the videos not only because it would look different but somethings would and have severely knotted my 4c low porosity fine hair. Hair type is important
@@brokegirlmagic8744 Isn't it wonderful to have so many natural hair RUclipsrs now? I am so grateful for, ( and slightly addicted to), hair videos. 😉
I can understand how that must've been challenging when you were still learning your hair 10 years ago. I was fortunate, having never treated my hair, so there was no need for me to ever "go natural" . I was already fairly well acquainted with my Virgin hair and it's tendencies, so my expectations were different.
So glad now that we have 4c people like _Nappyfu_ , _nappyheadedjojoba_ , _Jumoke_ , _Eugenia Kelcy_ and this lady as well to share with the community..
@@politereminder6284 Gurlllll!!!!!! Very grateful for all the 4c RUclipsrs. The little gems they be dropping changed my hair's life. And being able to see what healthy 4c hair looks like and that it grows long like any other hair type fills my little short coils with pride 😊
It’s all trial and error. I’m 69 and have worn Afros in every decade of my life, pressed and relaxed but I’ve just learned the best products and techniques for my hair. Thanks for the video.
Someone told me my hair is stagnant because it 'doesn't grow' it hurt so much and almost killed my vibe till I remembered how long my hair stretches under heat but since I don't expose my hair to heat I stopped listening to people's ideologies😂🥰
Exactly, they didn't know what they were talking about, sis. All hair grows!!! Keep it clean, moisturized, take care if ur ends and it will grow! Her hair was probably not the same type as urs and couldn't say anything else, so she said something STUPID.
Yesss to deep conditioner!!! I don’t really use conditioners at all. It’s all about the deeeeep!
Deep conditioners all day every day !
"Putting in the work and putting in the data". My friends don't understand when I tell them my hair requires a PhD. I should show them this video.
lmaoooo!
1. Your hair is BOMB!
2. I approve this message😄.
Awwww thank you sooo much !
@@LiveNaturallyLove You're welcome! Great video!
Your skin is poppin!! I need to know your skin care routine. Beautiful
Im working on it :)
I hate my hair every wash day, but when I get this thing in a high puff I feel like I’m god 👸🏿
YESSS SIS !!!!
Those money shots in the beginning and end were mesmerizing! 😍
My mom took those! Im so proud of her :)
I thoroughly enjoyed this video and I’m not even finished watching! You are delightful! 😊😊
Yes she is🥰
Ms.Catalina ❤️❤️❤️❤️
THE CONTENT, THE HONESTY, A-MAZ-ZING!! Siiiiiisssss YOU OUTDID YOURSELF WITH THIS VIDEO 👏🏾🔥🙌🏾 I couldn’t find not one LIE told. It took me years to LOVE my hair and sometimes I still struggle. I’m working on it. And like you said it’s a JOURNEY. I’m excited for the Next Video 👀
AHHHHHHHH THANK YOU LOVE !!!!!!!! Thank you sooo much !!!
Old school pink rollers. Yes old school!!!. Our people need to treat our natural hair.. This is our Crown and Glory. People wake up.
i just really need to thank you girl. ive been natural for almost 6 years and after taking out my latest protective style was so frustrated with my hair that I started crying and almost ordered a tex/relaxer. you made me realize I'm just not used to seeing or handling my hair in its natural state and there's no rush to figure it out. gonna rewatch everytime i need a reminder
OMG Im so happy this was helpful love :) Thank you so much for watching! We are all her for you sis !
itsmajelia Sis I was just about to relax my hair, I’ve been natural since 2012, big chipped twice and still can handle my natural hair. I was searching for a video of relaxed hair and found this video. I think I will give my hair another chance. Thanks Luv.
Hi Liv
I m so honored that you have picked up my question (I m PanX91 on IG).
Love shall always be our first goal. But when our hair are not healthy (breakage, thin edges...) And style does not look good because of that, it is not always easy.
We also have to be patient and trust the process...
PS: sorry for the faults, I m french :)
Hey SIS!!!!! Thank you for asking! It was such a great question!
Lol @ 4c hair can shape shift..Yassss!!!
LOL! I'm telling you!
My spirit agreed with you almost instantly. When you said, “shape-shift”, I knew we were kindred. You just got yourself a new-sub.
Welcome love to the family :)
Yes all of these are facts, especially diversity!!! Our hair can really do anything all it takes it TLC & good technique!
SHAPE SHIFT!!! :)
Thank you. I was driving crazy for not being able to do make my hair look like everyone else's. I went back to how my mom used to wash my hair when I was a kid, as well as using the same products (good old fashion hair grease). My hair look better now than it ever had.
Thank you for saying out loud what most of us dare not say.
Thanks
New love for my hair just bloomed 🌸 🌺 🌸
YAYYYY!!!!
The realist natural hair video I’ve seen in awhile. Luv
Thank you love!!!!!!
We need more women like you in this world/platform. I’ve been loc’d for a year now, but I do have 4c hair so this video makes me so happy to watch. Seeing your styles and hair definitely makes me miss my loose natural hair 😭😭 I enjoy the simplicity of locs, BUT some days I wish that I gave my hair a fighting chance 😂. Postpartum shedding did me dirty though, so I ended up cutting all my hair off and then starting locs
I always wanted locs! Plus if you ever feel like you want to go back its more than possible. Thank you so much for your kind words!
I'm gonna have to watch this video everytime I'm having a bad day regarding my hair. It made me cry because everything you said is true. Currently, I have a hate relationship with my hair but I hope to love it one day
I’m so happy this was helpful! 🤎 take time to learn and love your hair. It’s new and will take some getting used to but you’ll get the hang of it!
I'm going to need an updated sponge roller tutorial from you sis! This was beautiful and love the message.
I GOT YOU SIS!
Through this whole journey I've seen my hair as an ACTUAL person. What she likes, what she doesn't like, she even got a name. This is a whole relationship 😂😂. Lenny and I can't have an argument, she threatens to break up and fall out😂
Hilarious 🤣🤣
I love how you delivered your information. Long videos I usually skip over. You caught my attention early and I watched the entire video. I have been natural for 5 years and I learned your advice about 2 years in. Your beautiful and so is your hair.
Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the video!
A hair journal has helped me so much. Also, if something doesn't work in the way it is marketed to work, I will try to use it in another way. If it still doesn't work I get rid of it otherwise it was not helpful to get to a style that I enjoyed the look of. I thought I didn't like my hair when I really just should have donate, gave away the product. Technique is very important to me too.
YES! Mine just happened to be on my computer :)
2015 I big chopped! I hadn’t seen my natural her since I was a child. I loved every stage of my hair! My t.w.a., in between..don’t get me started on the ease of just having a happy Afro . I feel more confident and sexy when I am sporting my big fluffy Afro. I’m a high porosity 4C . You’re Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your energy and smile! Wow! ❤️❤️
Girl, you are speaking TRUTH!!! Same way I felt once I big chopped last year this time. Haven't seen my natural hair since I was 16, now I am 40. I LOOOVVVVEEE my fluffy 4C fro!! I've embraced it every step of the way and still loving it! And I thought I was alone in feeling sexier with it! I feel like I have more power!! 😀
Thank you for this video. You made a lot of great valid points. Many of us don't know how to properly care for our hair and we look to others for a routine that wont work for us. And your hair is beautiful 💛💛💛
THANK YOUUUU SOOOO MUCH !!!!!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video :)
Girl you just gave me so much hair porn in the beginning. Loved it
I left that comment in the beginning. If only you could see my reactions. When you said "Bantu Knots" I literally jumped, "GIRL! YOU ALREADY KNOW!"
As a 9 year bra strap length 4b/4c natural...everything you are saying is so true. After a while I narrowed down to a simple spray bottle (my mix) n a thick butter to seal. The more I tried all these products, combs, and w.e my hair broke. Sis, don't like anyone touching her. Wash day takes...2 hours tops...WASH IN SECTIONS! I lean my head over into the tube to rinse my prepoo, shampoo, and sit under my heated cap connected to my blow dryer (15Min) to deep condition THEN finally step into the shower.
YESSSS! Looks like you did the research and know exactly what your hair likes! Sometimes to basics is really all you need. Water and Shea butter can do soooo much for your hair! Thanks for sharing your routine.
Ummm...sis can we get a tutorial on this beautiful style with sponge rollers?!?💗👀😊
I GOT YOU SIS !!!
When I hear that “epi dats et” in the middle of your video👀🇭🇹; this video was great because I’m still struggling with the love I have for my hair
LOL ! It is a struggle but you'll get it eventually.
I really appreciate your positive spirit. Your joyful attitude is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being you.
Thank you for this positivity ❤
This was so informative and inspiring. I absolutely love your positivity ❤
YAYYYY!! Thank you sooo much !
I subscribed immediately after the ”épi that’s it” 😂 🇭🇹
YAYY!!!
Lol the transparency...I love this video. I needed this!
LOVE YOU AND YOUR HAIR!! Thank you from a fellow 4c!
Best video I watched all week! Thank you for all the positivity.
You give me low density hope! My hair is thinner than yours, I think it’s due to anemia because the hair at the base of my head is 3a and the rest is 4b/c.
kay ever try henna treatments ?
kay
Geritol helps low iron
I've been following you for years and years! I'm glad about how far you've come. I just hit the notification bell. Keep doing your thing girl.
YAY!! LONG TIME SUBBIE! I hope all is well! Thank you for supporting me :)
You are so positive and I love that!
Awww thank you sooo much !
She made me smile as soon as the video started! Super infectious SiS! Keep beaming that light!!!
OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
This is hair love 101... been following people on the Tube and my hair has been saying "no sis" to most of the techniques, now I'm going back to basics and listening to my hair... This video is definitely going to be one that I'll keep coming back to.💕
Yes, listen to your hair! It tell you what it wants!!!!
I been 4c and 4b hair for and my journey and is a journey and I love my natural hair journey now then to beginning of my natural hair since I cut my locs off a couple month ago girl my hair is grow!!!💜😍

Ahhhhh this means so much! Thank you queen :)
Girl you and me both on bantu knots! Lol I'm convinced it only works on people with longer hair.
LOL Im over bantu knots! It's basically impossible !
I was already loving you and then I heard th "epi, das eet" and was like oh okay I need to subscribe. I always have to show my people some love
LMAOO :) All my friends are Haitian! We say that to eachother all the time :)
Very Pretty! This is so encouraging!
This was soooooo spot on! I feeel so validated whew!
lol GIRL!
OMG! The swinging of that hair in the intro...Love it! Ive been natural for 5 yrs big chopped 3 times so I started to love my hair once I found the right tools, products, and technique that prevents my hair from tangling before I begin styling on wash days. It took a long while, but I'm finally here. TFS Liv! I think most naturals can relate. You look beautiful BTW.
Ikr that was so freaking cute, even when she showed her flexi rod set
@@LedePat Right
Thank you queen ! I love you! Yes, Once we figure it out it becomes so much easier! Thank you so much. Please share this video to anyone who may need it :)

YAYYYY!!!!
Beautiful girl and beautiful video! CNBC brought me here 😇🙏🏿♥️
Girl. This video is so refreshing- and true. My hair is similar to yours and I put a lot of time into my hair wondering why I don’t get the results I want but it’s bc I need to develop my own technique. This video was needed! New subbie!!
I'm so happy you enjoyed it! Welcome to the family !
You are so fabulous!!! 💛💛💛
thank youuuuuuu
You have amazingly resumed everything I’ve learned throughout my personal journey. Thank you for this!
Thank you for watching !!!
This is such a positive and sweet video.
Terran Dailey thank you love ❤️
I loved this video and love your vibe! Don't stop making videos 💕
Thank you so much ! Sometimes I wanna quit but I really loved recording this video!
Ngl I can be really lazy with my 4C hair but in 2021 I’m actively trying to change that. Doing research on my own hair is a great point. I was trying to follow everyone else’s hair care and got no where. Thanks for sharing!
Sooo happy you found this helpful love!
It's definitely a journey! Thanks for the video!
thank you for watching!
Omg I'm so happy!!! I really appreciate that you stick to the basics. The sponge rollers used to keep my hair 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thanks to you! Eventhough I found my look to be better short, thanks to you I've found ways to be happier and confident! Great work as always! 💜
kara niakim omg 😆 thank you soooo much love ❤️ ! I’m so happy I have been helpful !
Omg! I loved the hair flips in the beginning 💓!
HAHAHA THANKS! My mom did it for me :)
love your hair, so beautiful!~
This is soo pretty! I've learned so much from you over the years thank you so much! Can we pleaseee get a tutorial on this?
Awww thank you so much ! Yes ! I got you! :)
LiveNaturallyLove Blessed thank you so much 🙌🏿
Yes.a tutorial please...I am curious on this .....thanks so much
Yaassss sis!!! I really needed to hear this😊I started my natural hair journey in 2017 and up until last year, I started to get split ends that I am still cutting out of my hair til this very day😂, but I'm working on taking care of my 4c hair. It's really inspiring to see a fellow 4c sister love talking about her hair and being positive in every situation❤️ I am going to take all this great advice and put it into practice😘. Thank you so much.
I am so happy you found this helpful! Thank you sooo much love!!
You just reminded me of the best two strand twist I ever had...looked just like this! I didn't write down what I did and can't get it back...lol I love this video...my hair likes a 4 day wash...but I am natural and that is so tedious to do. My hair doesn't like coconut oil at all...but loves olive oil...and esp if it's heated. Like it loves oil and to be saturated! Love this video...so very true! Thank you!
Girl, I'm telling you taking note of everything makes you an expert on your hair!
This was such a great video- very informative with a positron vibe and kept me engaged while your unveiled your hair style from beginning to end. Well done! 👏🏾 👏🏾 💜
Thank you soo much love !!!!
I think what you said about learning being a keep part of loving your hair is so real. The truth is sometimes I feel frustrated that after years and years of having my natural hair that I still don't know everything their is to know about it. Sometimes I feel that even the quest for knowledge is absurd, like do I need degrees in chemistry or a license to do hair to care for my natural hair???? The truth is that for me at-least as long as I have had my hair I have constantly been learning lessons about my hair. I find that my hair itself is the teacher, and I am the student that is constantly discovering things. So, embracing that life long learning comes with my hair is something that I am coming to understand and make peace with. For me it wasn't one or two years and bam I am an expert. Over the years my hair has taught me so much. It took many years for me to learn the proper shampoo, the frequency of shampooing etc, how to detangle it, and I am still getting new surprises and new information all the time. At first my attitude was when will I be done, now I know that I will never stop learning and that is Okay.
Girl I am still learning how to take care of my hair! It is a journey and will always be but I am ready for it :)
Wow your skin is beautiful too.
I truly enjoyed your commentary!! 😂😂 your happiness made me smile through the whole video.
lol :) Thanks love !!!!!!!
You're such a radiant energy! ❤️💖
Aww thank you !!!!
Such a feel good video!! Nicely done 🤗
Thank you sooo much !!!
I also do shampoo and DC.. It makes so much more sense to ME. But these tips. Gold.. I'm in the process of trying different styling products and trying new styles. In sum... LOVE YOU AS YOU ARE!! Being patient with yourself as you learn. :)
YESSSS ! It just makes the most sense for me too :) So happy you enjoyed the video.
Your personality got me. I’m new to your channel and just hit subscribe immediately
Awww thank you !!!!!
This was great ! Once I learned good wash day techniques from 4C youtubers that changed the game for me. It went from frustration to happiness. Went from considering getting a texturizer to I WOULD NEVER ! Lol I’m def forwarding this to my new 4C naturals
YESSS! Love your 4c hair!
You are speaking my language, It's like the heavens opens up when you find products that work, I'm 4c and love my hair, but there was a time I didn't
AMEN SIS !
This intro is everything!
ahhhh thanks :) My mom helped me :)
I have babied my hair for 5 years. I trim once a year and Yesterday I went to the salon to get a trim and the stylist cut my almost tailbone length hair to armpit length. I’m so sad and I think I have acute stress disorder cause I couldn’t sleep all night.
To say I’m sad is an understatement 😭 she almost made me believe I damaged my hair even though the blow drying process was so painful. My scalp is currently sore and hurts.
Oh my goodness, I'm am so sorry to hear this. This is exactly why I, or my daughter will not step foot
In a salon.
Sorry hun. I’m getting vex on your behalf
Thanks guys. Ranting here made me feel better. 🙏🏾
We are here for you Sis! The most amazing thing about hair is that it will grow back. You can always start over. I feel you ❤️ I’ve been there ! We got you and you got this
I'm sorry that happened to you. A hairstylist cut my bra length hair to shoulder length when I asked for a trim so I understand how violated and hurt you feel. I have learned to never let a hairstylist I dont know trim my hair. Also, I'm trying to learn how to trim myself. Please don't let just anyone touch your beautiful hair anymore 👸🏾
The title had me watching with the side eye at first but I see you sis. I love everything you said! I wish I could show this video to my younger self when I did my 1st big chop.
If people don’t like their hair , they just don’t. Bye with the side eye
The tile sounded like it was bashing 4c hair to me, hence the side eye. But if you read the rest of my comment you'll notice that the video content changed my mind.
Glad you're back my fav hair twin. Please do a tutorial on your hair please much love
Hey Hair Twin! I got you boo :)
Girl 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 you speakin’ da truth! Let that 4c come through ➰😂!
YASSS!!!!!!
So nice to see you love 💜
Thank you for always watching :)
Such amazing tips and great energy! Thanks for the video 💖💖
Thank you so much for watching !
Best video on type 4 hair
Thank you so much!
Looks beautiful
Your positive attitude is everything!! Yay for 4 c hair 😅
Thank you so much !!!!
Hereeee for this intro alone Liv!!!! Imma go watch the video now lol
lmaoooo :)
Preach sis! U watch, take what might work for u and try it. And same here, I did Bantu once at the beginning 3 yrs ago. I might now, def nt changing things up with a wash and go, that stuff never works. But my hair is down my back now and fuller. It might look bomb! Thanks for the idea!🤗
PS who are these RUclipsrs people shout out sometimes? ie nap85 or whomever. Maybe it's good I'm not on RUclips too much, or I might be missing out🤷🏽♀️
Thank you sis ! Please give it a try! All the people I mentioned are OG's in the natural hair community.
VERY GOOD INFORMATION LOVE IT! now I'm getting ready to go LOVE my 4c kinky curly hair lol
YAY! THANK YOU LOVE! Ready Set Go :)
I love the end result. I love you girl 🥰
THANK YOU SO MUCH LOVE!
