For the price, the Extar is absolutely unbeatable in the world of PCCs / PDWs. Affordable, reliable, takes Glock mags, pleasant to shoot, and good looking.
Love, Love Love mine! It's now, my go to truck/car/ ATV gun. Over 1000 rounds through it, no issues. I bought an SB Tactical brace, a TRL1 light, and a Riton Red dot.
I actually really like mine. It just flat out shoots and everyone I hand it to loves it! I would change the charging handle is my only complaint. Caught my fingers on the optic a few times
Love my Gen 1. Been running a suppressor on it and I think it’s been cleaned once or twice and I shoot often. Pros: price, takes Glock mags, AR controls, reliable, and it eats garbage ammo.
I want one of these but I want the pistol brace ATF rulings to fully settle. I'm aware of the recent ruling, but also aware that the ATF plans to appeal. I decided to just Form 1 SBR my AR9 in the meantime so I don't have to worry about it.
I love mine, but I had to file down the pic rail to anchor the Holosun AMES. Note to Extar. The pic rail is the weak link. The EP9 runs, but the pic rail needs some attention.
@TiberiousGib It's definitely not right. I tried 3 different red dots and none of them would sit in the rail slots flush. The rail valley aren't cut deep enough.
Im speaking from the Gen1 so it may not apply but You can’t really +1 this gun if i had to find a con. Has trouble seating a full mag on a closed bolt. Makes tac reloads nonexistent unless you download all your mags by 1. It’s easy to work around but you shouldn’t have to.
@@TiberiousGib It's arguable. And also a gamble. If you look at MAC, he had an 8in mpx and had to buy an aftermarket barrel for it because he was minute of man at close range. This was another grand+ on top of the $3k gun. This was pretty common with them and, rather than fix it, Sig did what it usually does and discontinued the 8in model. My Virtus in 300blk is noticeably less accurate than my $400 psa 300 pistol with the same ammo. Sig is just kinda overpriced crap, and you pay for what is essentially an engineering sample that you hope will work well or eventually reach a generation where it does. The mcx is technically on its 4th gen with the spear.
Fight who? Did anyone prevent you from enlisting in the Marines to actually fight? Y'all just come on RUclips gun channels and project silly gun fantasies. It's for plinking, 98% of all gun owners will only "fight" at the gun range against paper targets. Let's not turn our passion for firearms into fantasies of real life action. It shoots real nice btw.
Love mine and beat the crap out of it no malfunctions and have shot all different types of ammo through it. Probably about 800 rounds and still haven't cleaned it.

Well said
And inexpensive.
Yep, hard to believe you can get so much quality for $450. Plus a sling, nice case, etc. Pretty awesome

I’ve heard nothing but good things
I ordered one with the SBA3 brace installed. Waiting... patiently... 😂😂
@@juanrojas6805 You get it yet? Just ordered one today with the SBA3 brace!
Purchased this exact package, but included the SB pistol brace. Love this package and will become my daily riding companion.
Dope
Just ordered the same with the SBe3 brace! I haven't seen one review with the new brace on RUclips.

The carrying case is also pretty good! The word is getting out and I am sure something will pop up here.

Fair point

I have had mine since they came out and I love it. have had 0 problems with mine, no issues with the mags. it is now my truck gun/ backpack gun.
I’ve heard several stories like that
Just got mine for my bugout gun and my side arm also takes Glock mags pretty good combo considering weight and its purpose.
True
i really like the opening! clap and grab, simple and neat.
Thank you
Great review! I'd say the trigger is definitely better than mil-spec. It's not a match trigger but I'm satisfied. Great reset, too.
I say it’s good, not sure if it’s better than
Mil-spec
I enjoyed your analysis of the gun. 👍👍
Thanks
Can’t wait to test out the suppressor for it but it’s gonna be a minute before I have one cause the atf sucks
ATF is big suck!

I say who cares, we should be free to own what ever we want
Can't get Magpul mbus 3 flip ups sights to go on it or primary arms prizm to fit on rail for my daughter
Call Primary Arms???

I tried a few optics and a few lights, nonissues. I wonder if the one you have is slightly off

I've been reading that they are out of spec.
Wait, what was the "con?" You not only didn't mention it, you didn't put it on the screen either. The suspense is killing me!
I didn’t really have one lol

Why buy this over the Gen. 1 model or do you buy the 45 cal. Model?
I carry and shoot 9mm so I prefer the 9mm version
Did you purchase this weapon, sir?
Are you the ATF?
Do anyone know how the recoil compares with the stribog sp9a3?
I’m
Not sure, sorry
I think it is a very cool gun. It is not in our market, but would have added one to my collection if possible.
Great for the money.
Indeed
The mpx being lighter recoiling means nothing if it's not accurate.
I would ASSUME the MPX is more accurate

Anybody know of a site that has any in stock? 😮💨😮💨 I’m struggling to find one.
You can only get them on the Extar website
Get a email notification. Once their in stock you have about 45 min to make it happen
was on the email waiting list. Got my notification a few days later and ordered. Took about a week before it shipped.
