- In this videos I lower my daily driven Honda Fit using the RS-R Down springs which lowers your car .8- 1.0" Super easy install, anyone can do it!!
Honda Jazz, GE6, GE7, GE8.
This is great! I have a 2010 and love it. I doubt I will ever lower it, but I love the car so much it is fun to see how they are built, and how folks modify them.
I literally just met the white fit owner yesterday. Cool dude.
I was happy to see the update after 3 months to see how the Fit settled on it's new springs. I wanna do this to my '10 but I had a bad experience with my old '00 Accord coupé on Eibach springs and I wanna keep my car pristine. But I know that as soon as I paint mine and put a set of Enkei RPF-1's I'm gonna want to lower it even if it rubs from time to time. Thanks for sharing!
Love it, I own a 09 Fit sport also. Same color, but I love it. I've owned mine since 2015, and it had 54k. I'm only at 114k now. Drives great easy to repair also

That gap looks like super downs were used...not the sus downs...rsr has 2 drop springs for this model fit..I chose the sus downs...feels almost stock with 205/50 R 16...Way beter then tein springs for comfort...Zero rub front and back..the back also has 10mm spacers..front no spacers....the rear wheels tuck in more then front as by design.I researched the hell out of springs for the fit..and if you want a noticable drop...but not excessive while retaining ride comfort get the rsr sus downs(NOT SUPER DOWNS)...concensous looks to be these ride the best...P.S..the drop is even front to back unlike some other lowering spring brands.
I had no idea you had another channel with cars. Pretty cool. Makes me want to separate my Jeep stuff from my MR2 channel too. Looking forward to seeing the RX7 finished 🤘
Thanks, I started putting up Rx7 stuff and it tanked my 4x4 channel, so i took them off an separated them, algorithm got me

Don't do Koni orange. Go with KYB that is made for CRZ. They are a direct fit with stiffer dampening and shorter. Perfect for GE8 with lowering springs upgrade.
@Samuelamnuelgreeneggshamuel Wish I knew this before hand! The Koni Oranges definitely can't keep up with the rear drop

I love lowered fits. My girlfriend had a first gen fit that we put coilovers on with nice wheels. It looked so good, until someone rear ended her last year and totaled it 😕 She has a 2021 fit now that I'm trying to convince her to lower lol

Looks like your buddy mostly has Mugen stuff on his Fit along with JDM tail lights and side mirrors and I think a Fit RS wing. Anyway it looks great and thanks for the video!
You are correct. Factory offered Mugen kit, JDM LED taillights, and JDM mirror caps/blinkers. The carbon fiber wing was sourced through JDP Engineering out of California.

sway bars next? rear strut tower brace perhaps? I know the rear beam isn't ideal, but my mk4 GTI had 1 and it benefitted from the above bars/braces.

Interesting to see the brake drums. Mine has brake discs in the back.
Those Fits are so reliable, but sadly, Honda just discontinued them from the assembly lines already.
The fourth gen looks dorky, so hopefully they will do a McRib is Back thing for the 5th gen. lol.

@@reysuayan121 didn’t use anything other than the RS-R springs. The drop is so minimal that the camber is very close to stock and still maintains a comfortable ride.
