That trucker isnt doing 1000 a day when he is waiting 3 days for a load! What a joke, i need my dog n kid to give rides to… does he work, only 4 yrs exp…. Yeah how many dif jobs in that 4 yrs..
1000 miles a day hahaha, this ain't the 1980s buddy, get your butt in a sling. Your fault or not lose everything you got go to jail it ain't worth it
Local doesn't require paper logs
@@cheyennemaxwell4697 I'm local and it's required because I go outside the radius but I am still local home every night
Milk haulers in California get a agricultural excemption they can run 16 hrs with 4 hrs off 8 weeks straight then do a reset tomatoes too. Hey Asian Mai I haul asphalt out of the Tracy California area
Even if wasn't joking, the fact that he is willing to work more instead of collecting unemployment deserves some respect. 😂
Truth
Everybody wants to be an outlaw til it's time to do outlaw sh*t
Great song
Ran 23hrs just so I can have two days off before the delivery was due 🫡. Ran off redbull & 5hr energy
When you bank 3 grand overnight and peeps crying they broke.
You are so right
Or
Until the police get after you
Then they cry and snitch
Sounds like he’s ready to do outlaw shit! 🤷🏾♂️
Anyone who says outlaw trucking is dead is a damn fool those jobs are out there just gotta know people who know people
Nope! Pretty much dead!
@One Bad Apple far from dead. Get outta Joe's basement. Plenty of places that still run like that
@@onebadapple83 you’re wrong man
@@onebadapple83 people aren’t just gonna come out and tell you that’s what they do that’s why you think it’s dead
@@johnnychavezz8566 What’s your version of “outlaw”? My experience: Been brought up on “habitual traffic offender” twice in two different states! Had multiple drivers licenses from different states! Got caught in Montana at 125 mph+ and got four tickets and put out of service! Seasonal run two trips a week Northern Wisconsin to Miami although I did return empty! That lasted two to three months every year. How about the California soft fruit season: Another two months of four and five day Minnesota to California round trips! NOBODY is trucking like this anymore as a single driver and I know every trick there is!!!
Outlaws don't let anyone know they're outlaws...remember that!!
I swear I was just thinking the same!
He's kind guy who can't stay in his own lane because he's so freaking tired
i sure do wish we could run like we used too oh the good ole days
You can if you know the right people. We do it daily.
And I do it in a 359 still loving it
Still can just got to be slick with it. My eld fails every 4 days and I haven't worked before failure rinse and repeat
Yes u r all correct BUT the good ol days also includes cooking on the grill on the back of flat bed while drinking sum beers with sum titties being flopped out hear n there and the occasional fight breaks out all while being layed over for the weekend some where n the great U.S. of A 🇺🇸 and THEN bullshitting on radio ALL the time as well!! OH THE GOOD OLE DAYS!🇺🇸USA🇺🇸
@@jackmeoff2274 Oh me too lol
A thousand miles a day is insane…
Why does everyone want to snitch? There’s thousands of people out there in every city running paper logs still. Nothing works out being a tatle tale
It's criminal with these elds after 30 years I'm just about ready to retire from something I use to have fun at and loved to do.
The thing is that everybody doesn't want to snitch. They all want someone _else_ to snitch for them. That way, they can act all sympathetic when he gets rung up without having to outright lie if questions start getting asked.
Move to south Texas and work for the oil fields we don’t use logs at all
Bro, y’all do some straight up crazy stuff out there.
Here you go he can’t he wanna deliver cows with lights on n cb talking shit on road n damn what happened I just hit somebody oh yeah talking to your bitch on phone damn ass
🤣 Texas is the Russia of America
We? From you statement i would guess you have never run in the oil field, you have only heard the truck stop tales... YES you do need to keep logs in the Texas oil fields. With operation schedules, oil field HOS exceptions and Texas intrastate HOS it's LIKE not keeping logs. In the oil fields you're usually waiting but it's rarely for your HOS to reset.
Oil field has log book. Going into sleeper stops your driving clock, once you leave TX the TX oil field law stops. Oil field is lifestyle that everyone can't work/live it's harder than OTR
One problem I have with elds is when to be told to sleep. I think it would me more safe to drive till you get tired so when you do pull over you would go to sleep. I pull over many times running eld and couldnt go to sleep until about 5 to 6 hrs in my 10 so that leaves me little time to rest. It really needs to be a change
That is true. when I started over the road stuff, I didn't want to sleep cause I was wired from driving. So sitting in the sleeper waiting for 10 to go by so I could go again, Then was to tired to drive but I had to keep going to keep my schedule
@@tomoconnor7528 Ikr be feeling like straight shyt the whole shift 😂🤣🤣
Horrible feeling all cause of an offset on hrs
The ELD and HOS don't tell you when to sleep, just when you can't drive. For me, early morning appointments are far worse because I tend to sleep mostly in the early morning.
It only would work if the drivers do pull over when they're really exhausted and tired. We all know they won't do that so
@@watsonestelan5677 yeah all it takes is one dumb ahhz to mess it up for everybody like it is now
Dude is 24 yrs old but looks like he's 50, Uber drivers is what you're 😂for hoss.
Looks 30s to me
yeah, that’s what METH will do to ya. Look at the way, he clenches his jaw and grinds his teeth.
Parody or not: I 100% sympathize. Everyone has different limits and intelligent adults know their own. I find myself sitting bored waiting to be able to clock in. I find myself wishing I could keep going. I get more stress from pushing to maximize my 11 than anything. But on the flip side, I've short shifted myself a few times as well due to health or fatigue issues.
People complain about nanny state laws because they drag everyone down to the lowest possible level.
I stopped doing that shit after I thought long about the financial liabilities you’ll face if anything goes wrong. Wasn’t really a safety issue for me, I almost never ran more than 11 hours in a day. I just shuffled hours around when I had a pickup or delivery in the middle of a 10 or something like that.
Good way to balance work with sleep/rest
BRING BACK PAPER LOGS 😢. I DON'T NEED 34 HR DUMB SET
Really its the dispatchers that creates problems by not having your load ready, plenty of money to make if u r actually givin 600 miles a day to run and not sitting around… find a smaller company about 75 trucks that cares👍
Right
Literally any Chicago area based company that's not owned by an American citizen that uses Motive (Keeptrucking) logs, in fact, they make you run illegal
Very true you have some of those as contract providers with FedEx Ground
Correct
So true the Europeans will run you hard here in Chicago
4 years experience, he wouldn't know the 1st thing about outlaw trucking, and like someone else stated there are companies you just need to know someone
🤫
20 years ago everyone drove like that.
U attract what u put out there. After driving 9 years I got a high paying fuel trans job. 401k full benefits, All legal no bs. Cuz it’s what I want & deserve. If you ask for bullshit you’ll get bullshit
And a 401k sir....is bullshit.
@@FitFuggingTruckingTrucker matching 401k is free money..🤦🏻♂️
He isn’t joking, he is damn serious
His company going under probably has something to do with his at fault accident ie…… logbook violation as a contributing factor
It doesn't sound like it. He said they can't get loads with high enough rates due to the market.
@@MikeDCWeld shippers and brokers are not paying top rates to carriers with jacked up CSA scores,
You see where I’m going with this right?
Paper logs all companies should be running them
As someone that runs paper logs all I have to say is that, if you use common sense it works if not you become part of the reason for the Eld mandate
well put
Bingo!!! Gotta know your limits
I run paper logs. I have a 1999. The oBD2 acted up running ELD. So I use the Exception . But you can't really lie for what he does, he will be caught.
This is exactly why the microscope is on is lmao😂😂
He is the reason the rest of us have so many rules in the industry now...
Believe it or not we made more money, freight got delivered on time and had less wrecks!!!!! Now we are on elogs, still can't make it on time and trucks crashing and flipping over like crazy. I used to do more loads with one truck than a company having two. Paper logs kept the fleet small, elogs made the fleet larger but still have drivers switching trailers because one drive doesn't have the hours....
Not all paper logs drivers are bad drivers. Rookie!
Yes they are.
@@eddiemcfadden4386 your just wet behind the ears
@@eddiemcfadden4386 no they are not
@bigggincognitohammy6791 I've been driving 20 yrs and most of them are the reason elds exist. You have your opinion I have mines.
@@eddiemcfadden4386 so you are saying all paper log drivers are bad?? What about the elogs driver that hurry up and push it when they should have stopped an hour ago. But yet they are sleepy and keep driving??
I knew a guy that knew a guy that ran for a company, they are out of business now, but they would edit everything including printing multiple BOLs edited to show DOT if they got inspected so it looks like they only drove a legal amount. It definitely happens still with ELDs around and unless they do something like trucks require 24/7 GPS or you get fined, people will continue to go around the rules. Please don’t drive tired and kill someone.
I have been in only two accidents. 😂
Only one of them was my fault. Good job!
Hell, everyone used to do this and less wrecks and better drivers out there too
Run intrastate generated frieght. In Minnesota you can run 24/7 if the goods are manufactured and delivered in Minnesota. I'm sure other states have that exemption, too. Or, buy an old tractor that's ELD exempt.
You can make money running elogs. It's not the log books that are causing the problems. It's brokers and big companies willing to cut rates to the bone. Stand up for your rights as drives! Quit being steering wheel holders and start driving the damn trucks!
If he’s sitting for 3 days for another run then he just needs another job 😂.
Then maybe he should ask around to see if anybody is hiring.
He shouldn't have said the quiet part out loud. But there are companies out there, usually the east European Chicago companies. I worked for one, and yep, their ELD was "flexible".
my dad retired back in 1996 when his company went to electronic logs. 26 years was enough. the e-log had him stopping in places that weren't safe for an LNG tanker, where if he was on paper he could have fudged it a bit to get to a good spot.
It's funny... Everyone thinks they want to haul cattle until they do!😂😂
A liability in a Tshirt….
If you only knew, there is just as much fudging going on as was with paper logs, and probably quicker to edit too!
That’s a real trucker, do you remember how we used to drive, we used to drive like that heck yeah
Love this Man!!
It's just the sign of the times. Back in the day you could run 2 logbooks and run overweight and have triple digit trucks and get the job done and if you got caught the fine wasn't so bad ( now some states will pretty much throw you in jail and bankrupt you with fines ). But also because of population growth the roads are to over crowded with four wheeler Karens if you drive over 80 they want to put you on social media or call your company.
The struggle is real they are out there running
This is what trucking was like, y’all don’t know the hustle we put in before to make a living. This is how my family worked for decades to make a living. All my respect to all the hard working Americans still out there.
Yeah but it shouldn't be that way. You should work to make a living, not live just to work.
@@scottcpan68 I agree
WOW 4 whole years !!! and only 2 accidents . A small company that runs paper logs can't hire you Insurance won't cover you .
I was thinking the same thing. We run paper and would never touch him.
You’re very smart, Alex!
When you working for .37 cents a mile: that's why you need to do TWICE the work !...
I believe you are spot on! This sounds like parody & I never thought about law enforcement doing a sting operation with something like this nonsense.
“The first Manslaughter was my fault, but the second manslaughter was the other driver”😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
GOOD FOR THIS OUT LAW trucking industry was built on OUT LAW WAYS LONG LIVE THE OUT LAW TRUCKER 👍 🙏 👌
"I have 4 years experience"
Sit the phuck down, Junior.
I love his points
Regulations are for ruch people not for truck drivers
This man completely right.
I agree with him
My dad is a retired truck driver. I remember back in the day. He had 3 log books. One for him, one for dot and one to turn in to the company. I guess you can't do that now a days.
I and another driver did a long round trip across the country. Same exact route. He finished days ahead of me. My supervisor told me that he was going to have to talk to me about my continued employment. I cleaned out the truck thinking i was fired. Turned out the company owner found out about the faster driver running illegally and fired him instead. He stood to lose millions if there was an accident
Chicago trucking companies enter chat* 😂😂
Regarding 3:35: There is NO law that states a cop has to say he or she is a cop. People that believe there is such a "law" are stupid.
Yes he should be reported. I don't understand how he thinks that everybody else supposed to be law by truck drivers and he can just run rampant. He should be reported investigated and if hes done anything he said that hes doing his license should be taken away. Immediately.
Alex, there are drivers out there like this. This guy is dead serious.
North Ga to Savannah in 80-85 MPH trucks are always available.... SEEK and YE SHALL FIND... Just need to know your limits and how to avoid heavy traffic. Also, the owners of fast trucks just don't turn anybody loose behind the wheel. I had no problems going to Miami and straight back when I was younger in the late 80's/early 90's. 1759 mile round trip with an average of 22 hours twice a week. EXTREMELY tired upon returning and a two day rest. Call me lucky for most steer tires have a 75mph max speed.
DOT is taking notes as well as state troopers 😆 smile!
Can't make money running legally. Especially with the rates.
no its real we used to run like that everyday and was way safer than it is today
Yep!! We didn’t need to haul ass through the truck stops either!! We could sit down at a restaurant and enjoy a decent meal without shoveling it down our face!!
Way back when I was a young man I ran hard outlaw. If I could do it again I wouldn’t. Dangerous to be an outlaw. Especially in this day and time.
back when you could run all night and not really see anyone
Real talk👍👍👍
If he really wants to run 3 log books he should get his own Authruty
Follow the rules and lock up the outlaws.
Howabout, instead of running illegally for peanuts with a company thats going under, why not get hired by a company that pays better and isnt solely based on the spot-market? If you dont have any endorsements (or only one or two), why not get (more of) them?
I feel em he grew up around large cars like me hearing stories & as you gain experience you start riding like that given the opportunity just handle your business. There’s work but you don’t find those jobs on indeed.
The people hating on him are toxic. The dude is just trying to make a living.
Been doing for mNy years... Had Accidents. Dude was running outlaw since the 90's and I got depressed when I went to eld. But it is what it is.
You don't need paper logs to cheat, I see people cheating on eld all the time, using p.c. mode and or just turning off the eld
The Fastlane getting in trouble and or killing someone
The reason ELD was invented 👌 guys like him
How would someone stay awake to drive 1k miles a day. Meth?
Just drive. Stop when you want to take a break for a few minutes. It isn't hard once you're body gets accustomed to it. Don't get me wrong, your body cannot hold up to that day in and day out even on dope. At some point you have to shut it down and recoup. At my age I'd rather run steady and make decent money than run hard like that and make descent money.
1000 a day is fairly easy to do. Did it many years , no drugs. Just get out and truck.
Plenty of cattle companies in Ohio on paper, I know a mom and pop flat bed company that get edit elogs from the office. I sold my 1999 379 and went to not for hire 40ft cattle trailer and dually. No log at all, but im to old to run hard anymore
Oil fields truckers are exempt but its not otr
He points out why some should be allowed to work at their discretion as many hours but the government screwed us all out. During covid i worked in emergency exemption and it was hell for me 1000000%
When applying, look for keywords like "1099", "based in Illinois", "Volvos", in the job description
"Over 4 years " 😂😂😂😂. I remember the old coloring books.
I wasn't very far into the clip when I was suspectin' that the fella might be doin' a bit heh, heh...I HOPE he's doin' a bit! If it is for real he's gotta be one of the least self-aware people out there in the wild hahaha. When he talked about his driving record and then just kinda threw in that he's had two accidents, but his record is GOOOD! Hahahaaa!
Cops DO NOT have to tell you if they are a cop. That shit is not real.
Although there is some paper log advantage, you cant run balls to the wall and expect to explain that to a DOT. Honestly the flexibility in paper is only a little more
Man in case you haven't heard, those days are long gone.
At least he's being honest about it lol
Uber drivers get they full hours of driving after 6 hours of shutting the app off. Why truckers can’t do the same ?
Truck driving is WAY more riskier. A lot of weight, huge vehicle and a lot to pay attention to. Your brain should be very alert. The stress alone can wear you out.
4 years. Wow,
That guy is having fun 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He gone be on D.O.T. Radar nation wide
Started OTR during Covid. I was running 5k a week. Others were running 6k+. We made good money. My family was taken care of. Now we’re struggling. These damn ELD’s and other regulations are milking us. Let us run how we know we can run. I’m not gonna risk my like. If I’m tired then I’m gonna pull over. I want to see my kids grow up. But I also find want them to grow up homeless.
This illegal driver is a huge problem for the trucking community....
He needs his CDL revoked!!
I have a cleen drivin record. Only been in 5 accidents in them 3 weeks. Only recorded accidents now.
Even if he’s joking someone somewhere is struggling for miles that only more time on the logs will fix.
Viral is the way to go and he did it 👍👍👍👍👍 he just playing around lmfao!!!
4 years van and refer thats cute. Go get em tiger!
Please definitely report him
Be careful what you ask for cause you just might get it. Rule # 1. Never volunteer information especially filming it online. I have 16 years 48 state Reefer hauling back in the mid 80s to 2002 paper logs and being pushed to get there, Fresh out the military physically fit and that was 6 mi a day running average. You might be able to run a few at 1,000 mi a day but you won't be able to sustain that pace long term as your looking not so fit in your vid. Your biggest problem is getting all your receipts to match your log books, fuel stubs and turn pikes and groceries, load and drop papers. Dot comes and audits your company and your boss says he didn't know you were doing it. Been there and done that. Everytime you cross a scale there is electronic evidence of where that truck was. 1 truck 1 driver can only run so many miles a week no matter how many log books you run and try to justify.
And if your doing any of the current street stimulants to stay alert I would prefer not having to share the roads with you because unless it is medical grade you don't have a clue as to what your putting into your body. To many vehicles sharing the roads these days and most don't seem to have a clue and CAMERAS recording everything.
The ones I worked in the 90's wouldn't hire him because he can't keep his mouth shut. The idea was to not get caught. This is not a low profile.
Call some companies on the wind city and if their have a international accent you good bro trust me 😂
He needs to put his seat belt on. Before he goes through the shield... And that's no joke.
I got your company 😎 we do it every day 🤙🏻
Stay Safe and Get That Money
Social media should mind its own
I did e-log for few years and that 36 hr restart (Canada) and 10 hr breaks equals less money and wasted time on road away from the Family,, prior them I was 100 percent focused and doing the job at hand ,,,OTR is all so boring now with many out there that have concern for others ,,,
