A multi-function Murphy bed design would be a practical modification. In the down position it's a typical bed. Folded up to the wall, there's a drop down table. It would make a more versatile & efficient use of the space. Many people work online so a multi use space maybe more desirable to traveling renters. The table could serve as a desk work area or a comfortable dining table. A Murphy bed provides extra floor space to invite a guest. Some might feel awkward with a bed in the room like a hotel. Changing the space to feature a table would be more like an office suite. The renter could share a meal with a guest or conduct a meeting.
The Designer & her team might not have been familiar with Murphy beds. I grew up in NYC where attached pop up day beds & Murphy beds are quite common. However, when I moved to upstate NY most ppl had no concept of such furnishings. I live in Putnam County in NY now. Also, the day beds R unattached for children, not adults. These are being done in New Zealand and Australia. Been discussing this with an architect friend. Glad to know its being done as a residential space. Wondering how she did the plumbing works and if it is off grid.
This was very difficult to watch because the interviewer had to pull teeth to get answers. The builder was very nonchalant & didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered. I applaud the interviewer! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👑. The company needs to find an enthusiastic spokesperson.
After reading so many fawning comments I was beginning to think perhaps I was just overly critical. Host was doing a brilliant job but I was a bit confused about the demeanour of the designer (I presume). Almost felt like she had just come from a good hit of weed and couldn't be bothered to take the whole interview seriously. Perhaps she's just a very happy pampered person. Good for her! Dunno if it'll be as good for her partners since she says they are a village of specialised people. Still... host managed to pull of a very informative interview. Kudos.
People can be so narrow minded. Let's take a different perspective, MAYBE (maybe) the designer might not be comfortable with speaking publicly OR speaking on camera. Maybe she's anxious and nervous. Maybe THIS is a new experience for her and MAYBE she's taking a huge step to move out of her comfortable safe space of speaking with people that she knows into presenting to a LARGE body of a population that she understands will potentially judge her (as has been shown) in a negative way. I own a small business, I am an introvert and I have public speaking anxiety ALL of which I've received assistance to help me with and am still growing away from. Maybe her job, profession doesn't require her to engage with unfamiliar people. We need to learn to stop projecting our OWN expectations on to people and give people grace in their own space. This maybe have been a HUGE step for her and if it was, I for one am glad that she took that leap😊. Ight..bye✌🏾😉

I stayed in this property (but the adjacent homes across from the containers) and they looked very nice. Location is great too.
Talented, smart and beautiful ladies. Gorgeous design and architecture!
Outside is a nice clean design. I love the straight lines. Light flooring makes the place looks larger than it is. Not bad for a shot stay.
Love this !! The outside cladding ads so much interest and takes away the container look.
❤️❤️❤️ This would cut down the housing/rental market…. I’m doing this!!!
THIS NEED TO BE DONE MORE IN THE U.S.A..TO CUT DOWN ON HIGH RENT AND HELP HOMELESS PEOPLE
IF THEY WANT TWO
Let me know when you’re ready to sell or rent
I can’t stop staring at her dress/caftan! 😍
Very nice. Most creative use of containers I've seen yet. Very smart.
She didn't want to share much uh
After reading so many fawning comments I was beginning to think perhaps I was just overly critical. Host was doing a brilliant job but I was a bit confused about the demeanour of the designer (I presume). Almost felt like she had just come from a good hit of weed and couldn't be bothered to take the whole interview seriously. Perhaps she's just a very happy pampered person. Good for her! Dunno if it'll be as good for her partners since she says they are a village of specialised people. Still... host managed to pull of a very informative interview. Kudos.
She talked in circles.. Very irritating..
Love the outside exterior.
That was not parquet flooring.
Bit small for me, but to stay for a short stay, no problem. X
Very informative! Just what im looking to do !
That’s very impressive 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great job, They need to use this concept in America for the homeless.
