She made VERY smart design choices! Very smart. Simple and elegant and modern. She’s a star. I’m saving this in my Ghana file. The only thing she didn’t mention how or if they tested and treated the container before installing the insulation & drywall. That metal needs to be chemically treated if it isn’t it leeches toxins over time. Also, you still have to treat the container exterior to prevent rust. But very smart and talented designer. Bravo!

A multi-function Murphy bed design would be a practical modification. In the down position it's a typical bed. Folded up to the wall, there's a drop down table. It would make a more versatile & efficient use of the space. Many people work online so a multi use space maybe more desirable to traveling renters. The table could serve as a desk work area or a comfortable dining table. A Murphy bed provides extra floor space to invite a guest. Some might feel awkward with a bed in the room like a hotel. Changing the space to feature a table would be more like an office suite. The renter could share a meal with a guest or conduct a meeting.

The Designer & her team might not have been familiar with Murphy beds. I grew up in NYC where attached pop up day beds & Murphy beds are quite common. However, when I moved to upstate NY most ppl had no concept of such furnishings. I live in Putnam County in NY now. Also, the day beds R unattached for children, not adults. All my furnishings R still purchased in NYC b/c designers very, very space conscious & everything must be multi-functional. Many suburban houses have lots of "wasted" space, but I use my space very well surprising many who see my home. I do not waste anything including space. ✌🏾

This structure is beautiful and simple. I would suggest stacking a third trailer on top, and not dividing the units. Each guest would have the run of the full unit. This would be functional for greater numbers of people. You would end up with three full units, not sub-divided. You would attract more high-end clients this way especially families with children. Beautiful, nonetheless.

This is soo beautiful and economical. I think later they can equally develop the 8, that is 4 on 4 for small families with maybe modern shared kitchen on the down flow to avoid any forms of accidents. congratulations to the team that came up with this perfect and economical home plan

She did a great job, these are perfect for AirBnB. Everyone has their own opinion on what should they have done or added. I have a couple of air bnb’s and I wish I had this size. They don’t have to much space for customers to destroy and will make lots of cash off these even in Ghana. So all you architects go build yours and post it. That woman accomplished her dream

I stayed here in Jan 2022, upper unit on the roadside. Only issue i had, the stairs. Im scared of heights, lol. But I LOVED my stay. Simple, roomy and comfortable. I fell in love with the osb cabinets right off the bat, the louvres were perfect for air. Being from the Caribbean, I felt quite at home.

After reading so many fawning comments I was beginning to think perhaps I was just overly critical. Host was doing a brilliant job but I was a bit confused about the demeanour of the designer (I presume). Almost felt like she had just come from a good hit of weed and couldn't be bothered to take the whole interview seriously. Perhaps she's just a very happy pampered person. Good for her! Dunno if it'll be as good for her partners since she says they are a village of specialised people. Still... host managed to pull of a very informative interview. Kudos.

People can be so narrow minded. Let's take a different perspective, MAYBE (maybe) the designer might not be comfortable with speaking publicly OR speaking on camera. Maybe she's anxious and nervous. Maybe THIS is a new experience for her and MAYBE she's taking a huge step to move out of her comfortable safe space of speaking with people that she knows into presenting to a LARGE body of a population that she understands will potentially judge her (as has been shown) in a negative way.
I own a small business, I am an introvert and I have public speaking anxiety ALL of which I've received assistance to help me with and am still growing away from. Maybe her job, profession doesn't require her to engage with unfamiliar people. We need to learn to stop projecting our OWN expectations on to people and give people grace in their own space. This maybe have been a HUGE step for her and if it was, I for one am glad that she took that leap😊. Ight..bye✌🏾😉
