52v only 30ah? Range will not be good, performance will not be great. They are relying on pretty looks to sell the scooter. Also compared to the scooter size the deck looks short. Lots to like but the value for money is questionable. Dualtron's new Luxury Plus version of the Victor looks much more attractive tbh, and it doesn't need much to make it waterproof
Nop kaboo from now on

I don't usually don't get incredibly hyped with a scooter, but man, this one looks incredible! This is the perfect example of a by-product of the culmination of R&D with countless user feedback input. Congratulations, Apollo Scooters, and thank you, ESG 😁
Thanks so much for the kind words! We are extremely excited also to be honest. Full review will be out shortly. -Vosk

I've been following Apollo since the beginning and I am always excited to see what they release. So yes I'm a fan. I must say that this scooter has set the bar for others to follow. My hat is off to them for making a great looking scooter with many cool features. With that said, the price is well, obnoxiously high. In my opinion it should retail for around $2400 and that's still high for what it is. After all it is just a scooter. Hear me out. A frame, two wheels, two motors, two brakes, a battery and a controller. It is not a $2000 upgrade over the Phantom. Most e-bikes are under $3500. The Sur-ron X is $4400. Or you can buy a 2023 Kawasaki KLX230 dual sport motorcycle for $4400. Before people start bashing away on their keyboards stop to seriously consider the parts and tech involved in building the new Pro... Like I said, I'm a fan of Apollo and love what the company has been doing but I need to call a spade a spade. Sorry Apollo I'm not buying this one, the value is just not there...
Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate it. -Vosk
This scooter looks incredible!! Super futuristic. I thought about signing for the beta testing. I only commute 2 miles each way, but I do a lot of riding on the weekends. I live on a military installation, so there’s is plenty of space to ride without anyone bothering me, the only issue is that is so cold and windy here all the time. Can’t wait for the summer. Amazing video like always!
That’s awesome! Keep us updated. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Please look up Arwibon Q13 Pro .. It's 2K in price. I bought it and love it. It is an amazing bang for the buck. It's a 60 volt 50 amp battery with 2 3500 watt motors totaling 7K! It's like a 4000 dollar scooter for half the price. And it's tanky. If you guys are in LA, I don't mind showing it to you guys in person :)
So much heart and soul invested into it, congrats.
Bravo Eloi, Chris & Mac... Take a bow, cannot wait to see Paul's in depth review in the coming days. I am so 'Hyped' to jump on my City Pro tomorrow for a ride in Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words. -Vosk
I have wanted this from day first day you guys talked about it. Already Pre-Ordered.
Nice! -Paul
Can’t wait for the full review, that scooter is dope!!
Thanks! We're digging deep into this one. I'm meeting with Apollo's CTO 1:1 tomorrow to go over the app. It's really hard to capture how friggin futuristic this thing looks in real life. I kept expecting people to stare at me as I rode by. It's like riding a UFO. The profile of this scooter with the center stand up is amazing. -Paul
Beautifull scooter, ultimate packaging, and nice features. Good Job Apollo.
Ohhh shit!!! This Apollo Pro looks phenomenal!! I'm gonna start saving now!
Wow. This scooter better win some design awards.
For sure! It better. -Vosk
It will
What an amazing looking scooter. Love the high IP, dual drums and regen for low maintenance, lighting great with turn signals but looks like it could be brighter. Way Too pricey for most and not legal in Europe based on all the restrictions so pointless for most!….but I still want one 😀
Ha ha! I love it.... Sounds like something Jeremy Clarkson would say :-) -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide haha you know who clarkson is Paul! 😀
Why is it not legal in Europe
I have been $aving $ince they previewed prototypes 1-4!!! It’s such a good spec and the customer support is at your fingertips!!! The stakes are so much higher now!! Go Apollo gooooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉Thanks for the review guys!

OMG, I am throffing at the mouth in anticipation for this piece of engineering wizardry! Eloi you are a genius
You know, I kinda talked mad crap when the initial product release video came out. But I’m starting to turn. I really want this now. Still wish the top speed was 50+ buy hey.
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
Lots me with the speed too for something that's going to be that costly.
This one looks awesome! Quite possibly has everything I've been wanting in my next scooter. I signed up for the beta tester... probably won't get in, but hey can't hurt to try!
Give it a try! Sounds like you will get on the list. Good Luck to you. -Vosk
That is one huge and smooth looking scooter. Apollo is a really unique company. Thank you for this.
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching. -Vosk
Apollo has been ripping off many customers, many chargebacks, it's been known for awhile!!!!
As a GT2 owner, this looks like some great competition. Glad to see another well designed scooter on the market, not a mash of parts put together.
Awesome! Thanks for the great feedback!. -Vosk
Two of the cutest guys on the internet. Oh, and the scooters are nice too☺️☺️

Great video as always! I just preordered one! Can’t wait! What happened to that chuck guy? Is he still part of your channel? Anyway love the channel and your reviews! Thanks!

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide can’t wait for the review to come out! It’s a little pricey, but luckily they offer financing! And a good warranty! I have been emailing them. Sounds like it’s been going through a lot of quality control testing also by third parties that’s good to hear.

The most eagerly awaited scooter of the year has been postponed until next year. I was so looking forward to an early Christmas present but sadly I have to wait now until the end of January. 😭😭😭
Sorry about that! Delays happen often
Let’s gooooo 🎉 👏🏼
Thanks for the enthusiasm! and for watching and commenting. -Paul
Hey! How big would you say the deck is compared to the Apollo phantom?? I love the phantoms huge deck, but this one looks a little smaller?
Roughly the same size! This has larger tires so it makes it look smaller. -Vosk
Looks dope! Are the indicator buttons one on each side, or both on the left like on the Phantom V2?
The buttons are one on each side. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide boo. That’s a dealbreaker for me sadly. Thanks
Very cool.
Full review coming tomorrow! -Vosk
The IOT SIM is something that all scooters (especially expensive scooters) should offer, which would allow GPS and possibly even a decent motion sensor SMS alarm system. Something I've been suggesting for years.
The deck looks quite slippery? I'd imagine that the final model will have some sort of anti-slip material.
I like the fact that you can choose to use re-gen brakes only.
The water resistance level is a big plus (if it lives up to the rating). More scooter companies need to realize that people want to ride their scooters in all-weather conditions.
I'm really not a fan of expensive $2k+ scooters, but at least this has some advanced features.
Thanks for the exciting preview!
Thanks for your insight! The deck material is thick rubber. It feels pretty good. -Paul
I am 100% sure that this scooter will live up to the water resistance rating that they claim.
I had the Apollo City Pro and was struck by a vehicle while riding one day. It started storming pretty bad not long after the accident happened and I was busy getting checked out by the ambulance so I couldn't do anything to shield the scooter from the rain. The scooter had been extremely damaged during the crash with the left handlebar being snapped off stem being bent and battery campartment being torn open so I was fairly sure the rain was going to get in somewhere to cause more damage but surprisingly it still works with no issues.
It hailed pissed and poured and was windy as ever with the ambulance rocking in the wind and the scooter survived it all.
So with that being said I'm confident that when they say the scooter is IP66 resistant they aren't lying.
Now what they need to do is apply the warranty to scooters that are IP66 water resistance or higher and still get water damage. Sadly even these IP66 resistant scooters aren't covered under warranty if they take any water damage which kind of defeats the purpose of having a water resistant scooter. I want to ride in all weather and my scooter still be protected under warranty so it's pointless to have such a high water resistance rating but not have coverage for water damage.
Finally 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This one looks cool. If I can try it & it feels just as good. Might sell my scooter now & pick this one up! 😊
Go for it! Sounds like a plan. -Vosk
Pretty impressive design! So many features to glitch out though, I’ll wait for V2 😂
They will actually have a BETA program for first few hundred units so the kinks should be worked out by second batch! -Vosk
wow pretty cool scooter!!! i like it a lot! i think apollo trying to hit segway's gt models and the some of that cheese also lol! I love that is ip66 and also love the tires and fenders looks slick and well build! i wish they bring this brand in my country also!
Hopefully soon! What country are you in?
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Europe-Greece.
Awesome that you got a preview. I got in the beta but still deciding whether to drop the money on it as it may not have all the features. I'm sure it's not recommended but I want to commute with my kid on side roads with it so I'm hoping the stem angle doesn't stop us both fitting on there - he's still small for now.
It will have all the features as it will be the final production model.
Good luck with the beta program! -Vosk
@@mattScorpion22 I hope so, but I've heard it could not have the wireless phone charger for example.
I like the apollos. That run flat tire sounds cool hopefully they will be the new standard.
We hope so too! It's showing up on more and more scooters including the Apollo City. -Paul

Very nice scooter, what do you recommend? Should I wait for Apollo pro or buy the gt2 which is on sale now? Thx for answering my question.
Both are excellent! We love the Apollo Pro! Full review is dropping tonight. -Vosk
Excellent review guys!
If I can ask have you put the regen braking to the test on the one hand I love the concept but on the other I've heard that regen brakes can be very unreliable or even dangerous unless they are top quality.

Wow my girlfriend is going to kill me... and btw people saying it's expensive have to understand high IP rating makes the price goes up, just look at a EOS Canon 1Dx for exemple...
Yes they are using ALL proprietary parts and this will be the most advanced scooter in the world upon release. -Vosk
It looks nice.
Thanks so much! -Vosk
Seems like this is going to compete nicely with the Segway GT2. Speaking of Segway, when are you guys going to review the P series?!? You’ve got tons of reviews on the new Apollo models and I’m dying to know how the compare with the new Segway.
No plans yet but hopefully in the future. -Vosk
from previous Apollo videos Controller max draw is 90 amps. We know the battery voltage is 52v so no more than 4500 watts (divided by 750 for horse power so 6 hp). Apollo’s motors were sourced for torque so it should be pretty fun. Not a racing scooter necessarily but the build means less than normal issues. I mean WHAT company sources their components like Apollo? Clearly other companies products, other scooters, everything else is barely innovative but this is unique. Apollo offers scooters that don’t look like a rehash from China.
Apollo is ahead of the curve for sure! -Vosk
Does it have a nice stem height, that would be good for tall riders?
It’s about 40 inches which is good for taller riders! -Vosk
This looks really cool. Out of my budget sadly though. How long does the company let you have the scooter for review before you have to return it?
We keep it for future videos! -Vosk
Wow that looks dope af. I’d debate between this and a GT2
Yes, I can't think of anything else to directly compare this scooter with. The development of the Pro started long before the GT2 was announced, so they just happen to have landed on similar targets in terms of price, performance and style. -Paul
I would like to see Apollo quote both nominal and max power for it’s motors similar to how Segway rates the GT2 at 1500W nominal/3000W peak. That gives us a better understanding of how the two compare.
Specs coming in our full review! -Vosk

The controller is 35amp per motor so wire is suited for 90amp from battery but out from controller looking at 70amp possible by design. so 70 x 52 about 3600 max ? but a 52v battery charged past 52 v to about 58 so peak could be 4060 watts or 5.4 hp

Owning the Segway GT2 it be cool to have a video comparing the 2. But I will say the GT2 does look way cooler with its front end.
Nice suggestion! We might do that. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Not sure you guys were planning on doing a comparison of the GT2 VS Pro. But Segway is about to activate regen in the GT2 with the next firmware update. It be interesting to see how it would compare once they do that.
Question: I'm a maintenance man at a big complex mostly all sidewalks. What would be a strong, reliable budget friendly scooter I could use to get around At work. Thanks for your help in advance!

What is your budget ? Speed desire and battery range desired?
For that id just buy like a highboy ks4 pro or something only around 500$
Oh , me with Segway P100S and those disk brakes are horrible to maintain.
Those drums on Apollo are much much more reliable, as it were on my previous G30.

Can it charge your phone? Can its speaker play music from your phone?

Apollo is doing what EUCS have been doing, electric brakes. Less maintenance with brakes is always a positive.

Oh dear, now should I get the Apollo Pro or Segway GT2?
Both are excellent but the Apollo pro is better looking in our opinion and weighs 20-30lbs less compared to the Segway. -Vosk

Yes you can! Drum brakes for emergencies only. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thank you!
Reminds me of the cybertruck, but too slow for $4k
Tech Crunch called it the Cybertruck of scooters. This scooter is going to compete against the Segway GT2, which has the same top speed and the same price. I haven't done the final testing yet, but I think the GT2 is going to be quicker 0 to 30 mph, but I definitely like the suspension on the Apollo Pro better. -Paul

What is a range with that big fella . 1560Wh battery is a way too small for that kind of e-scooter , 2300Wh could be great . For example Dualtron Spider II got battery 1800Wh and it is half weight and much smaller e-scooter with real range ( 180lbs rider ) 45-50mile .

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide aww shit, game on.
im sorry, i love the way it looks and it seems really refined but its price is ridiculous.
the only thing that could justify the price is the reliability of it.
many things point towards it being reliable but we have seen reliable scooters turning out to be full of problems before.
if thing winds having issues, its price should be considered ridiculous.
i mean its almost the same price as king gt lolol
It's more than the King GT. I think you're onto something with the reliability angle. That's where they spent a lot of the engineering dollars. Unfortunately, it will be a while before we see if it pays off on the road. -Paul

I’m confused why some of these high end pricey scooters don’t even reach the same speed as my base wolf warrior x
Many people care less about top speed and more about looks , features , suspension, etc. -Vosk
It depends on where you invest the money! Manufacturers all pay the same price for motors, aluminum, and battery! Apollo decided to put the money into safety and quality rather than Volts and watts! That being said, it still has crazy performance.
