Having the ability to travel just as fast as the rest of traffic in 90% of roadways (excluding highways obviously) for a fraction of the cost of buying a car is a simple commuting solution!
Love you guys! So informative and very amazing the way you explain everything. You guys are my go to tech dudes for anything ebike or electric related. Keep up the amazing work!
Hey there, just came across your video on "escooters" and I must say, your content is impressive! It's great to see someone showcasing the latest trends in the electric mobility space. As an ebike user myself, I recently stumbled upon a new crowdfunding project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike, which seems truly innovative. The fact that it can be charged indoors is a game-changer! And the combination of outdoor exploration and indoor fitness is simply outstanding. I'm amazed by the powerful motor, front suspension, and puncture-resistant tires, making it suitable for any terrain. Can't wait to support this project and get my hands on a freebeat Morph e-Bike!
THE REASON YOU WEREN'T ABLE TO ADJUST THE RIDE HEIGHT ON LOCATION WAS BECAUSE YOU NEEDED TO COMPRESS THE SHOCK. THAT'S WHY THE BOLTS WERE DIFFICULT TO TURN, BECAUSE THEY WERE PRE-LOADED FROM THE FORCE OF THE SHOCK ASSEMBLY... USE A SPRING COMPRESSOR AND UN-LOAD THOSE BOLTS AND YOU'LL HAVE A FAR EASIER TIME! GOOD LUCK!
INMOTION released a video after our review showing it done in 30 seconds. We just needed a mallet. I do wish a rod the same circumference size of the pin was provided. That would have been the best to efficiently punch it out without having to worry about possibly damaging the thread. It can be done with the allen tools provided but you have to be careful to punch it out along the edges.
@@Andrew-vt4jt I haven't seen the video (link?), but I would imagine taking the weight off the suspension by placing the main body on a lift/block/downed tree/etc would make it a lot easier as there will be less tension on the bolt from suspension preload.

That means you can get a workout while charging the bike. It also has a brushless 750W motor, 80mm front suspension, and puncture-resistant fat tires. Great video and thorough review! Scooter looks great, they appear to have a great app…BUT one would spend a lot of money on a hyper scooter like this, yet the cable control on the front are always horrendous. In the R&D makers need to look into this imo.
I do like a cleaned up look of wires ran through the steering pole. However, if you have ever needed to change a brake line on a scooter with wires ran through it, it is a painful thing to do.
an easy way to fix this is a Velcro strap. i understand it wouldn't look the best, but to be fair, this scooter seems to be more about power than looks.
@@Andrew-vt4jt Carbon bike frames figured it out. You run a plastic tube inside the frame, then run the brake line through that. EZ. Nothing stopping you from doing the same in a bundled loom with wires or whatever.
Thanks Jimmy and Andrew! That is an amazing scooter. I no longer care to ride hyper scooters as they no longer fit my use cases. However, I would love to have this one to play around with. Please upgrade your helmets. At those speeds what Andrew is wearing won't do much. Sadly I have seen some serious injuries at much lower speeds with the Predator and TSG pass helmets. Predator is designing a DOT Helmet just for this reason. Have you seen injuries with the Predator helmet? I've only seen them with the TSG helmet which I do find to be very poorly constructed.
@Andrew-vt4jt I am pretty sure it was a Predator but it was a while ago. I don't think there is much difference between a Predator and TSG especially compared to a real motorcycle worthy helmet.

@freshlycharged how about this slogan as part of some sloganeering: "Where we review personal electric vehicles, toys for men not boys without the noise and killjoys." ....
Pretty cool, but it’s a beast for sure. I’d rather go 40 on an EUC that weighs half as much and has a much smaller footprint. Still, I know it has its market and it seems well made.
@@kriskale they review ones on this channel. It’d be a factor of what you’re looking to spend and what you want it to do. You can get a decent one for $800-$1,000 (20-ish mph) new all the way up through and above $4,000. An example of one that’ll go 40 would be something like an InMotion V12 or Begode T4, somewhere around the $2,000 neighborhood.
Jimmy why, why, why the mantis style (like the insect not the scooter brand) front fork suspension? Why is this design so common on stand up scooters? I’m not a fan of the look and I’m skeptical about performance and feel where speed is concerned…same goes for mushy over sprung suspension systems many scooters have. The faster you go the more feel and control you want to have. Rion is still the best looking scooter out there in my humble opinion.
That's why I dislike twist throttles, too easy to accidentally grab it and throttle the scooter. I know someone who actually broke their wrist on their eBike that way. She forgot it was on and accidentally grabbed the twist throttle. Thumb or pull throttles are actually better.
I prefer the twist throttle. Basically using your whole hand to throttle results in finer positive control and therefore is much safer imo. To avoid accidental throttling, turn the unit off if you are not in motion! You could argue the same problem exists for motorcycles, all of which have twist throttles for a reason.
RS & SS have been used in the automotive industry since the 1960's. Rally Sport & Super Sport 👏 that Inmotion is an upgraded Rally version to the Kaabo Mantis w/ Minimotors & LG battery 🤯
Bro I been riding motorcycles at the age of 9 your comment about a steering damper is totally false a damper does not hide bad workmanship or design it's more of a safety part. When u are going fast on two wheels ur handle bar can get tank slap it might not happen today or tomorrow but u will wish u had one on the bars. Idk why anyone would say that. It happens on 500lb motorcycles with millions in r&d. Ur riding a e scooter that has a 10 inch tire and weight 100lb. Going 70mph if ur going 20 mph ok theres no need but 50mph on. Scooter yeah no way u definitely need a damper plus no name tires don't know why compound the tires are this all comes into count
I am reposting AtomicB's excellent post concerning repairs: "Keep in mind the likelihood that this will end up collecting dust in your basement due to the myriad of issues you will encounter keeping it on the road. Flats alone will numb your head after the first year. Not just the high number of flats you will get but the mind numbing drill you will encounter changing one. Even if, like me, you are mechanically inclined, have a custom workshop on your basement and have owned many models for many years, you will suffer. If you are not like me, good luck finding a certified mechanic that will not charge you an arm and a leg just to look at it."
Turning the rebound dial clockwise closes the rebound circuit which makes the rebound slower. Opening up the dial counter clockwise makes the rebound faster.
I had bought 2 of these while watching this video for myself and my husband so we can go joyriding on weekends together, but these thing are crazy expensive. I will gift it to him on fathers day even though he's not a father yet.
Awesome review guys! I'm so looking forward to this thing showing up at my door! From their own website: "Inmotion’s most powerful beast to date, the RS (Racing Sport), is the answer to the most exigent riders…Riders seeking performance, reliability, design, connectivity…Riders that only settle for the best." BTW, how is the regen braking? I've heard it's excellent with the Raptor controllers on their uni's, is it the same?
I had such scooters as Nami Burn, Kaabo GT PRO, they were very nimble, but when I switched to GT2, the acceleration is unmatched! we have a group ElectroTallinn if you are interested, take a look
There are basically no adults left in 'Murica, at this point... The terms "permanent adolescence" and "arrested development" best describe the situation. Not a good thing, It won't turn out well, rest assured.
the stem lock looks a little dinky. I just got the vsett 10+ i like the stem lock but i feel like that little screw is gonna strip out eventually. Awesome looking scooter though. 43 feels insane on my scooter. 60 would be nuts
Only thing I would change is the color, sick and tired of yellow scooters , Vsett , blade, etc.. too much banana, why not some nice metallic colors? Even the raw aluminum looks awesome. What about anti theft features, does it have any?
Have you tried unloading the suspension before trying to adjust the height? It seems pretty obvious that you'd need to take the weight of the scooter wheels to remove the bolts and adjust the height. If so, there's nothing wrong with "the execution", the problem is with the operator. Ps Steering dampers can hide handling issues but that's not the reason they're deployed or used in most circumstances. They enable more radical steering geometry by subduing side effects like "tank slapping" or steering oscillation
@@ssoffshore5111 More radical steering is a trait often sought as a performance advantage. It can come with trade-offs, but so do all modifications. I suppose you're right, if you focus on the negative trade off without considering the positive return. So fair point.
You forgot to elaborate on the hub motor cooler fans installed on this scooter. I first saw the "PIRATE" design and was selling these ( 3D printed) for the " BEAST " scooters with before and after heat temp differences 3 years ago.
@@Andrew-vt4jt His channel is called PIRATE, and he shows mods and repairs for the cheaper brand scooters like the Boyueda, Laotie, and Janabike brands, etc...
@lionelhowell4972 he also stated that these coolers don't really do much of a difference in cooling the motors... so not really needed if wanted... more of an asthetic look if anything. But it does look kool 😎
@@Metropotter - I'm not sure why you think you won't feel a fall going 35mph, then getting thrown off your scooter. I'm not sure how suspension will help you "not feel" the collision with the pavement. But ok...if it helps you than who am I to argue?
I would never do those high speeds on any scooter with that size wheel on it. It is really insane! Even wearing full gear. These scooters will bring so much injuries to hospitals and the healthcare cost will keep climbing. What they charge today for just broken bones, per day, is mind blowing. All these young guys and adult will cruise with these so fast, its only the beginning to what's to come.
You guys just sold me on my first e scooter, never had any sort of electric ride before but this is gonna be the one. A bit bummed about that kickstand but ill either buy another or fabricate one. Thanks for the in depth review!
@@ryanbest4217there are options in the $1500 dollar region which offers 40mph speeds which is where the escooters are legally allowed to ride on. The $4k price tag of the Inmotion RS should only be considered is recreational uses are considered
Interesting that they went from small commuter scooters low speed low power alongside to thier great EUCs. Hope they fill out the lineup with mid range scooters. 35-40 mph, 30ish mile range, make it as light as possible preferably 50-60 lbs and tubeless tires
As a motorcycle rider I own a safety leather clothes RST brand that stands for Racing Series for Tracks so my best guess is that RS for this scoot stands for Racing Series which makes sense to me provided that it goes quite fast(for a scooter) and it has the sort of thing such as “race car mode” on the suspension….like I said my guess is that RS stands for Racing Series 🤔
Seems to be well priced for something in this performance level, cheaper than other hyperscooters with similar performance that I've seen. So, yeah, I've put in a pre-order with a scooter shop in my country - they think it will get here in September sometime.
Thanks for the updates and the review. After reading this great review and the issues that hinder the scooter, I will not consider purchasing UNTIL they fix the issues as mentioned because honestly, those are important issues that MUST be fixed. ( Great review, btw......I just subscribed to your channel)
Most of the time you will be riding in areas with a 25 to 35 mph speed limit. You want that extra power and speed to be able to get away from a car or truck if they swerve into your lane or come up fast behind you. Extra power and speed is a safety aspects more than anything. That is why I cringe when I see small displacement sports bikes on the highway. They don't have the power to get out of sketchy situations like a swerving car or drunk driver or someone with road rage. Power can save your life.
Currently have a bronco xtreme 11 which I love. It's been alot of fun. Was going to order the new bronco vnom xtreme 11, which is a mic between the xtreme 11 and the vnom with 50ah battery. Last minute I decided to get a talaria stinger r with upgrades to 72v. I've seen rhe bikes throughout seaytle. Now I'll have both. Although this scooter looks bad ass. I prefer a twist throttle for response. All the thumb throttles on the super scooters we have reviewed have a dead zone. I do like trigger throttles but prefer a twist slightly over them. You will be able to switch it out with one you like.
Love the slogan. 35m here and buying mad toys yo. If it's got wheels, I'll probably like it; if it's got external power source, I will definitely like it!
I have the NAMI, i get small wobbles at 50+ so sorta scared to go over 50+ at times, is there a better damper over the stock one that came with the scooter i should consider? great review on the inmotion btw. love everything that you guys do, if i was buying new i would totally consider this scooter1
I like your reviews they've been pretty much spot on even when you guys have problems with Mechanicals or human errors I think you do a very good job. Question. What do you do with the scooters that you review?
It can be a little intense if it's a windy day. Luckily, it wasn't too windy that day I was testing the scooter. I'm an adrenaline junkie so 60 mph on a scooter isn't too crazy for me. I snowboard at an average speed of 45 mph and have a top speed of 65 mph. It always surprises me that I can go that fast with just a board and gravity. I stopped riding motorcycles because I go way too fast on them.
i actually want to get this but i went to nami for the mean time, ill get this maybe in december for my year end bonus, i need to see more reviews on this

So you’ve been riding motorcycles for 1 year and you’re an expert?
Proper geometry doesn't need a damper I have a 2000 ninja zx-12r it was designed to do 200mph and guess what no damper
Horns on these is underrated. Back when i had my Wolf, the horn helped save my life a few times
I am reposting AtomicB's excellent post concerning repairs:
"Keep in mind the likelihood that this will end up collecting dust in your basement due to the myriad of issues you will encounter keeping it on the road.
What preventions do they have for a speed wobble? Cause those small tires will easily catch one
I got speed wobble on a fat tire e-bike going 32 mph. That's scary as well.
You are in for a treat!
@@Andrew-vt4jt Did you test the regen braking?
Almost all feature i wanted except it doesnt offer removable battries.swaping on the go is only my priority for PEv😊
Just a thought the daultron storm has a 31.5 removable battery and it weighs like 35 ponds it would be crazy heavy to carry around a 40 amp/h
@@jamesotjen6725just in case it catch a fire, just throw the battrie instead of throwing all unit😊
I had such scooters as Nami Burn, Kaabo GT PRO, they were very nimble, but when I switched to GT2, the acceleration is unmatched! we have a group ElectroTallinn if you are interested, take a look
Are you saying the Segway gt2 acceleration is quicker than Nami burn e 2?
I would rather have a thumb throttle then a twist.
The snake wanted to enter the chat!!! 😂😂😂😂 Great video!!!
"Toys for adults, not children."
There are basically no adults left in 'Murica, at this point... The terms "permanent adolescence" and "arrested development" best describe the situation. Not a good thing, It won't turn out well, rest assured.
Awesome review, guys!
Thanks for the support! ❤
the stem lock looks a little dinky. I just got the vsett 10+ i like the stem lock but i feel like that little screw is gonna strip out eventually. Awesome looking scooter though. 43 feels insane on my scooter. 60 would be nuts
It will eventually what vsett people do is use industrial strenght velcro and wrap it around the locking hinged. very easy to remove after every ride.
Great review, love those transitions. I think Inmotion borrowed the RS moniker from the Audi line-up of their RS high performance vehicles...
And they got it from Chevy.
@@ssoffshore5111 dunno if I’d want my wheelbarrow named after Chevy😂
I agree with the first part, although not as much with the second. I think you kind of contradicted yourself on the steering dampers.
@@ssoffshore5111 More radical steering is a trait often sought as a performance advantage. It can come with trade-offs, but so do all modifications. I suppose you're right, if you focus on the negative trade off without considering the positive return. So fair point.
Wow that beast looks dangerous!
You forgot to elaborate on the hub motor cooler fans installed on this scooter. I first saw the "PIRATE" design and was selling these ( 3D printed) for the " BEAST " scooters with before and after heat temp differences 3 years ago.
They never told me that. Pretty sweet feature. I'd love to check out what you were making in the past.
Finally ! A really fast scooter with water resistance ! Its not hard to do yet so many just dont care and charge way to much.
Hey guys, your helmets aren't rated for over 25 mph. Ride safe
😮
Scooters with anything less than a 14" wheel is a death trap going over 35 MPH. Better hope they don't hit a pothole.
@@JohnBowl14690the scooter has suspension so you don't feel it
@@Metropotter - I'm not sure why you think you won't feel a fall going 35mph, then getting thrown off your scooter. I'm not sure how suspension will help you "not feel" the collision with the pavement. But ok...if it helps you than who am I to argue?
Re: modify/replace the kickstand for a twin leg/triangular(one leg extends on both sides) when dropped down or engaged for better stability
Boomer 😂
@@meatkurtin9747 You should take this warning seriously if you hope to live to be a boomer.
You guys just sold me on my first e scooter, never had any sort of electric ride before but this is gonna be the one. A bit bummed about that kickstand but ill either buy another or fabricate one. Thanks for the in depth review!
At $4,000 dollars we better off buying a car.😏
I'd still get it though,
No gas, more ease of movement (off road/sidewalk), speed, and feeling the breeze.
Worth it to me if you have the budget 😊
I thought that until I got my first one... now I have 3 😅 2 for cruising and one for abusing
@@ryanbest4217there are options in the $1500 dollar region which offers 40mph speeds which is where the escooters are legally allowed to ride on. The $4k price tag of the Inmotion RS should only be considered is recreational uses are considered
yeah, just livin in town, back and forth to work.. ive come to realize i dont need a car lol.
2:10 Woah easy with the hard R.
you should send me one and il send you back a cheeseburger
😂
Interesting that they went from small commuter scooters low speed low power alongside to thier great EUCs. Hope they fill out the lineup with mid range scooters. 35-40 mph, 30ish mile range, make it as light as possible preferably 50-60 lbs and tubeless tires
That's mid-range to you?! Make it 35-40, but kph!
Didn't watch video, just wanted to say that this is a lawyers dream and why we live in a litigious society. Very, very bad idea.
It's the 21 century lawyers have been surrounded by dream cases for 75 years lol
I love that onewheel shirt that Andrew is wearing! Please share where you got it.
RS = REALLY SEXY
No
That’s a stupid thing to call it.
Not calling it that :/
Ew
Don’t know why there’s so many negativity, but I agree that is a lame thing to call it lol
Good review Jimmy and Andrew, I’d see you guys review MUkUTA 10+.
I just bought one a couple weeks ago. Blown away by its performance.
I saw this scooter at the show, very nice scooter.
Thanks for the sub!
What issues?
@@michaelbmw1931 Re-watch the video and watch to the end and wait for it. 🤣😂
They are mentioned.
Maybe with the car references RS stands for Rally Sport ? .. or Royal Society
You guys should get your hands on the solar eclipse 72v ebike or the new talaria stinger r xm4. Your channel will only grow more covering different pevs.
I think this is one of the best looking scooters I have ever seen.
With no side mirrors how do you safely change lanes with this?
Arguably the most important piece of info the price , what is the price?
Prices are constantly changing. Big discount right now though on their Kickstarter. Current price on the INMOTION RS: bit.ly/3ounfaZ
To answer your question it's about $3500

I love how you speak about the safety!
I'm not Asian and I can't read most instructions.
I have enjoyed you and Andrew test bike and scooters.
Awhile ago you guys reviewed a fat tire full suspension bike.
Would you send me a link to that video. It was around$1500.00.
Thanks Guys

Wow, this video on "escooters" is really informative and well-made! I appreciate how the creator discusses the different types of e-scooters and their features. As an e-bike user, I'm always on the lookout for innovative products, and I recently stumbled upon a crowdfunding project for the freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike. This project seems truly groundbreaking with its indoor recharge feature, allowing me to charge the bike while using it indoors. The brushless 750W motor and 80Nm torque also caught my attention, promising exhilarating speed and power. I'm excited to see this project come to life and would love to support it. Thanks for sharing this amazing video!
That blasted twist throttle. Why not a thumb or finger throttle 😥
I prefer a twist throttle for response. All the thumb throttles on the super scooters we have reviewed have a dead zone. I do like trigger throttles but prefer a twist slightly over them. You will be able to switch it out with one you like.
just got mine, taking it out on the freeway tomorrow!
Nice scooter love the performance and looks..you guys should do a range test one day..
I went to do a range test yesterday but couldn't find my audio cable.
Would you guys choose this over the new gtr? What one do you guys prefer
Love the slogan. 35m here and buying mad toys yo. If it's got wheels, I'll probably like it; if it's got external power source, I will definitely like it!
👍🏻 Thanks guys!
we don't like grabbing onto the rear light. idk, maybe grab it somewhere else then? did that cross the mind?
I have the NAMI, i get small wobbles at 50+ so sorta scared to go over 50+ at times, is there a better damper over the stock one that came with the scooter i should consider? great review on the inmotion btw. love everything that you guys do, if i was buying new i would totally consider this scooter1
You don't get any wobbles on a wolf warrior lol
Hey Jimmy it mean "Road Sailing" for its smooth road going nature.
I like your reviews they've been pretty much spot on even when you guys have problems with Mechanicals or human errors I think you do a very good job. Question. What do you do with the scooters that you review?
Dang the blade flip in the begging is killer bro !! 🤣🤣🤣
The wind at 60+ mph must be wild.
I stopped riding motorcycles because I go way too fast on them.
this scooter will ship on july if you pre ordered @ 3499, probably youll get it around september, its really a nice scooter tbh
I'm hoping I see mine before September, but excited for it either way!
The inmotion Kickstarter says shipping will be in July and should be on shore by August.
i actually want to get this but i went to nami for the mean time, ill get this maybe in december for my year end bonus, i need to see more reviews on this
Are the tires solid flat free design or pneumatic always go flat at the wrong times ? You should point this out during your reviews!
11:28 this is why I always turn on the slipstart function :D
come in handy when your car breaks down. I always kept mine in the Trunk fully charged. And I had a cheaper one. I drove in from one side of town to the other. I got to my town and then the battery died surprisingly it made it all the way. Then I called the cab to drive the rest of the way which save me money. Correction from one end of the county to the other
Nice scooter and great review. However, I believe the Bronco Xtreme 11 (new and improved) is a much better value at $2600 direct through Bronco.
Great review thank you for sharing
Looks really cool
u should do speed test in both directions and then average the 2 set of data
Looking forward to watching this one.
We hope you enjoyed it!
@@Andrew-vt4jt absolutely, just ordered the Segway Max G2. Figured that's a good starter scooter but might look at something like the RS down the road. Big fan of anything electric, so I appreciate your reviews!
Subbed boys, this one interested me! Thanks, content is excellent...
I'm in Florida it gets deep when it rains I never see anyone test the waterproofing of these scooters.
