Hi mate, apparently there will be a display of some form showing basic information. Wether or not is is removable I do not know but I did hear Eloi, Mac or Chris mention it in a past vlog maybe in their 'Scoot Scoot Friday's' series
@@davidfromdownunder oh I'm pretty sure they mentioned the display in this video too, but i was wondering about the phone holder side of things, like for example does quadlock provide a thing you can stick on the back of your phone instead of having to buy a whole new case, a little like the pop socket things some people use
I was thinking the same thing. Clamp didn't require any special case, but now it looks like we may need to fork out a little extra for a case. Maybe Apollo should include a voucher/code for Quadlock case specifically for your phone?
Or an option between clamp and quadlock when ordering the scooter. I’m a bit skeptic on being hostage of the quadlock system. Granted it has its benefits, but I prefer to keep my ITSkins case instead.
@@Louk.V I have the 'ALL LOCK' by a Spanish company called 'Lamicall' it's a similar lock system to quadlock yet you can attach one end of the locking system to ANY phone Holder whilst the main lock itself could be incorporated into the Apollo stem. It would save people from being 'locked into the quadlock Eco System.
I'm a bit concerned about the turn signal and brake light color being interchangeable. I'm all for customization but Isn't that a safety hazard? Should it be locked to Amber for turning and Red for braking?
Hey Apollo scooters are the best you guys rule I have a fantasy my headboard from fluid free rides and I never wrote it yet I had a flat tire I fixed it but now I'm gonna have to get the V3 kit cause I think it's a V-1 with mechanical breaks but I appreciate everything you guys do at Apollo I can't wait for this new school to come out thanks for everything
Looks great! though i would like to have seen a U lock attachment or specific place where you could one when you lock up your scoter. Also will there be insurance you guys will be offering in case of theft damage?
Yes color orange coil spring looks really nice even with the City Pro and hydraulic suspension is way to go. Would be nice to see the Apollo Pro name embedded to the deck rubber grip tape just like Apollo Phantom.
Can you expose thdeck screw so its more servicerable and also just incase water gets in its easy to access and drain it ? Can you also show how the acessability to switch from standing to sitting mechanism ? Do we also have the capability to visually show that the scooter is charging as in light changes colour when its charging ?
From the video, this looks promising. I’m 6’5 260 lbs with a size 14 shoe. can the stem be adjustable for height? How about deck size for larger /taller people. Also, if a headlight is not stock, can wiring be provided for another solution? Just a thought. Thanks for the video!
And to be honest I really like the handles on the V5, round looks cheap in my opinion. The handles on my Phantom V2 (V3 now😊) are amazing, they look good and feel good. For me whats on a city looks cheap and it sucks to go hunting for new handles on a pricey premium scooter.
Grips are cheap, especially if they are just MTB grips. You can find any style/colour you want. Everyone wants something different for grips so that's impossible to please everyone Didn't the V4 have body coloured throttle? I'm not as keen on the all black up top, but that's pretty minor.
Love it! Can’t wait to have a scooter that is more tolerant to Vancouver light rain days 😊. On another note the Phantom V3 is amazing! Great quality control
I came here curious how the phone locks on to the scooter. You showed and described how I just need to get a quad lock phone case. That's great. But now I'm curious how on earth it fast charges with the phone case and that quarter inch gap in between. Does it really fast charge?
You guys have ticked all the boxes to choose this scooter over the GT2, the only item for me is a boost or hyper mode to give that fast off the line speed given the price point. 0-30 7.9s Vs 3.9s, can this be done as a software update mode? even if it's for a short duration.
With the new light controller are thr handle bar leds also controllable colour wise when the signal light is changed in the app? This would be good to match the deck lights.
I must say, the Apollo Pro seems like the perfect e-scooter, and address all the important features I'd like (turn signals, lights, app-control, anti-theft, dual motor power etc). The polish, and design is a plus too, very 'Tron' like. The only other aspect is the repair/customer service process if things go wrong, which is more to do with the company, and I hear good things about Apollo in that regard. I'm not an Apollo rider, but with this Apollo Pro... I might be. Very interested.
Will there be anything added to protect some of the scooter components in the case of a crash? I'd be afraid one small crash and a lot of the lighting could get messed up. Not a deal breaker but just curious.
Hey Apollo, would love to see the handle bar blinkers more robust or even a couple coming with the V6 model. Also for my needs, off road tires as an add on so they can come with when you purchase. I have lot of acreage with some trails and a town near by. One scooter to do it all.

The vibration from an electric scooter is much less than the vibration from a motorcycle so less dampening is required. 3. No, our warranty policy only covers the scooter itself. We hope this clears things up :)
1- We will be offering 2 universal Quadlock sticker with every pro 2-No, The damage to the lens only happens with vibration of the motor on a motorcycle, you don't need it for the scooter. Same thing with a mountain bike, it's a lot harder on the phone than the scooter, and you don't need it. We did a lot of test with Quadlock, this solution will not damage your phone. 3-No
Amazing scooter, and I already reserved one and hope I will get it soon, I just have one question, In Quebec, there is a speed limit of about 30 KM/H so will the scooter be limited to 30 KM/H? or scooters will not follow the speed limit rule?
G'day Eloi, I believe I may of mentioned it before in an email to you but how about a soft closing stem? Is there room to house some form of gas hydraulic or spring built within the stem of the inner tube of the upper stem? Last thing your customer's (me being one of them) will want is that upper control box with built in speaker being damaged when the stem comes crashing down onto the deck, no doubt an expensive exercise to fix? Then there's the further damage if one forgets to remove their smartphone prior to when it hits the deck. Furthermore the soft close would further enhance the luxury of the Pro to stand out even further from the crowd. Would this not be a first in the industry? Quad Lock is good and makes the phone look clean on the cockpit but if you get a new phone you're going to have to buy a new case. Also, wouldn't it look better if the fender tips were curved slightly?
Hi Art, Each Apollo Pro will come with a Quadlock Universal Adaptor that is specifically designed for PEVs. Users will be able to fasten this adaptor with their current phone case :)
Put a “in charging” indicator on the screen or rate of charging etc… right now you can only tell from the power brick -ie . if the red light is on or green light is on
there needs to be a place to put AirTag if you could make a dedicated space, also a place to place a lock on any of your scooters.. that can't be unscrewed easily.
Its looking good! You are almost to the finish line!...I got a question i know you cant show the quadlock design yet but for those that want to look forward did the connector still going to be the same as any other quadlock case sold on their website?
Update.... I jumped the gun a bit on my previous comment as I see the free safety locking latch will prevent the stem from falling onto the deck just as this feature is built into my City Pro. Although.... perhaps in a future design having a button integrated into the upper stem to active a 'soft close' feature when lowering the stem once it comes free from the current safety lock would be as you said Eloi 'The EXTRA Cherry on top' Deactivating the soft close as you raise the stem so as to the user not forcing against the hydraulic pressure. Maybe worth exploring with your R&D team Eloi?
V5 grips / or the one on the Ghost are great for riding long distances (I ride about 20 miles a day). Not sure about the plan to revert to standard cylinder grips in V6 >:-(
Hi Jed, Yes, you will get a notification on the Apollo App if your scooter is being tampered with. The scooter will also have an alarm that goes off when the scooter is moved from its locked position.
I would like to see a clip on the stem to hand a light bag - like briefcases or a light bag of groceries. I think one of the other models have. For those days i don’t have a backpack
Hi FullSendG, Our previous Apollo Pro (2020) was a one-time release. We've since moved to our Apollo 2.0 Design Phase which includes the Air 2022, City 2022, Apollo Pro 2023, and Explore 2023 :)
I mean the quad lock on the scooter not the scooter it self. If i am placing my phone on the scooter i would prefer the quad lock had some kinda cover on top of my phone so that i can use it in the rain
@@fungwilton7125 - A cheap and efficient solution is to slip your phone into a ziplock bag like many cooks do in pro kitchens. Full dust, grease, and liquid resistance for a few pennies! Even a condom could protect your phone (including spam calls). 😉 💥
Salut Éloi - In your V4 video update, you mentioned that the rear motor wiring was not IP 66 yet, and that you were working on a solution to fish the wiring to the front motor. What gives? Did you just forget to mention it in your V5 video or is it pushed back to V6? 👀 👍👍👍 for approaching the Finals, contrary to the Habs! 😊
Concerned about the seeming lack of suspension travel on the rear, especially compared to how great the front is. GREAT choice on the going with quad lock for the phone. I’ve been using that on my motorcycle, mountain bike, car and sailboat for last couple years. The connection is rock solid and quick to use. The case is fairly sleek for the utility and has protected my phone from the occasional leap from my hands while walking around. I do use their anti-vibration mount on my motorcycle to protect my phone from that kind of damage. It probably also makes the display a bit easier to read at speed.
Hi Anthony, Prior to the video, our engineers had taken apart the rear suspension and it was not re-adjusted before filming- this is why it looks more rigid. The rear suspension is an adjustable TPU rubber suspension with over 50mm of travel, so users will be able to adjust it to their preference :)
Please take a look at ESG review, it will explain our decision about the rear suspension! As you an imagine, I am thinking about every little details of that scooter, suspension being #1! My decision makes sense mate!
Please make the front headlight a minimum of 1000 lumens. Give it some fins on the side to keep it cool when using full power. I ride a lot at night when I close at work, and its a lot of extra time spent messing around with my lights. Full integration would be awesome, and no extra charging a time saver.
Would be great if the display excluding phone connection can allow full functionality, especially for those that prefer not to connect the phone. Can't wait to see the new display.
@@ledzepandhabs Yeah, I have real concerns about the rear suspension, or lack thereof, I guess there is just a rubber damper in there to absorb shock and then the front is standing very high and you can see it bouncing after being compressed, it has adjustable damping so it should be okay once properly adjusted. It does have a lot of cool lights but imo something has to be done about the rear suspension.

After watching the ESG review video; my only concern is the PRO’s ability to accelerate uphill. At least in comparison to the much heavier GT2. I don’t consider top speed to be an issue. Hopefully Eloí will be able to juice up the Mach 2 controller for more torque.
Hi Drgb, Thanks for your feedback. The hill climbing and acceleration performance is mainly caused by the 12-inch tires: the bigger the tires, the slower the acceleration will be. The tradeoff is that 12-inch tires will provide better ride quality, ride stability, and better top speed. The Apollo Pro 2023 is currently the fastest 52V electric scooter in the market, and ESG's model even has off-road tires on. The production model will have street tires :)
Please include the rear suspension for more comfort and please do something that can help some riders that want to add more head light on their scooter
Hi Jumil, The rear suspension is a TPU adjustable rubber suspension. This will have have up more than 50mm of travel, so users can adjust this to their preference :)
12 inch tyres! Thank you - I know it's not easy in terms of manufacturing but please put your whole range on 12 inch tubeless in the future! Thumbs up.
I just had the tyres on my Ninebot Max G30 blowout because a friend I had loaned it to neglected to properly check the tire pressure. Tubeless sealant everywhere and a huge mess to change the now damaged tyres out. Personally, I'll stick with traditional tubes just like I do on my e-Bikes.
Will. There be seat compatibility and custom rear rack these are two thing all e scooter riders have constant problem with especially with independent e scooter companies
Please make sure the V6 will have a good headlight 1500-2000 lumens for a luxury scooter is what it needs, this scooter is poised to be the king of the night

I can't wait to eventually try the Pro, in the meantime I will use my Emove Cruiser S. This Pro model looks fantastic tho
Can't wait for my V6!!! Please add the feature that is available on Andriod phones to limit max charge via the app to a specific percentage. This will prolong battery life.
This feature is mostly gimicky, and help only very slightly if any. To improve battery life, a good BMS with a quality battery (korean) like LG or Samsung is the key.

very excited for this scooter, i am in the beta program. So does more power from the motor mean faster top speed?? Hope so...50pmh sounds way better than 43mph...Thanks!
Top speed isn't a priority for the Pro, I think the better motors are for reliability.
@@whoa6375 do you work at Apollo?
@@christopherbergin9515 I'm Batman so I'm self employed.
He said they are staying 1200 watt so I doubt it. Not seen too many 52V scooters go faster than low 40s
I would love to see some mirror option on the handlebar end, there are aftermarket ones, but with that you will loose the option for index. (the ones that goes to the inside of the handlebar not really useable imo) Even if it is not required by law in your country, it is a great thing to have if you ride in the streets with cars around you. Its really good that you listen to the community.
FYI, you can buy small mirrors that attach to your safety helmet. Good ones are pretty neat as they give you full view.
We do have custom mirror made, don't worry, I'll show it with the V6
I recommend hiding the brake cables for the sake of design clarity
I really tried man....
For now, it's not possible! I prefer keeping the smoothest of the brakes over the design!

I like the ruggedess of the ghost but would like to check it out is your pop up shops coming back to Toronto ? They have the city an air at best Buy but no ghost
love the security peace of mind
One more thing ,a color cycling function for the lights would be dope.
Its coming ;)
Quad Lock is good and makes the phone look clean on the cockpit but if you get a new phone you're going to have to buy a new case. Also, wouldn't it look better if the fender tips were curved slightly?
I'd buy a new phone for the Pro
Hi Art,
Each Apollo Pro will come with a Quadlock Universal Adaptor that is specifically designed for PEVs. Users will be able to fasten this adaptor with their current phone case :)
@@ApolloScooters As far as i read from their website those universal adaptor dosent recharge wirelessly no?
Is that really an Apollo laptop? Can't wait to see the Pro in actual.I love that you can customize the color of the lights.
Put a “in charging” indicator on the screen or rate of charging etc… right now you can only tell from the power brick -ie . if the red light is on or green light is on
I would like to see different tire options. I know it comes standard with road tires however please add an off road tire option.
cant wait for the Apollo Pro, is there any news on when the V3 upgrade kit is going to be release for Phantom 60V?
one concern i got is that new phone mount requires me to have only their case on? will it work with my car iphone magnetic holder?
We will be providing the Quadlock universal adaptor (It's a sticker)
So you can add it to the case you already have ;-)
there needs to be a place to put AirTag if you could make a dedicated space, also a place to place a lock on any of your scooters.. that can't be unscrewed easily.
Its looking good! You are almost to the finish line!...I got a question i know you cant show the quadlock design yet but for those that want to look forward did the connector still going to be the same as any other quadlock case sold on their website?
Yes
What if you have a phone which quadlock doesn't make cases or attachments for?
Hi James,
All Apollo Pro 2023s will come with a Universal Adapter that should fit most cases :)
@@ApolloScooters jesus you literally have every single point covered 🔥 NICE WORK!! 🙏
V5 grips / or the one on the Ghost are great for riding long distances (I ride about 20 miles a day). Not sure about the plan to revert to standard cylinder grips in V6 >:-(
Is there a notification on the app if the scooter is locked and being tampered with?
Hi Jed,
Yes, you will get a notification on the Apollo App if your scooter is being tampered with. The scooter will also have an alarm that goes off when the scooter is moved from its locked position.
Yes
I would like to see a clip on the stem to hand a light bag - like briefcases or a light bag of groceries. I think one of the other models have. For those days i don’t have a backpack
How much will the Apollo pro be
Hey brother what happen to the scooter you guys had that was blue apollo pro 1 gen ? Does that still exist
Hi FullSendG,
Our previous Apollo Pro (2020) was a one-time release. We've since moved to our Apollo 2.0 Design Phase which includes the Air 2022, City 2022, Apollo Pro 2023, and Explore 2023 :)

is it possible to add weather resist for the phone holder? living in a city always rain and i wont really place the phone like that without rain cover
The whole scooter is IP66!
I mean the quad lock on the scooter not the scooter it self. If i am placing my phone on the scooter i would prefer the quad lock had some kinda cover on top of my phone so that i can use it in the rain
@@fungwilton7125 That's why there is a display and that your phone is also probably IP68
I ride in the rain alot, I use an otterbox but my samsung galaxy is also waterproof, yours prolly is too.
👍👍👍 for approaching the Finals, contrary to the Habs! 😊
The V6 will be IP66!! We introduced very expensive motor connector!
Is this scooter gonna be dual brushless motors, guys? Does the drum break hydraulic or manually?
Drum brakes are cable operated
Mechanical brakes!
Dual brushless, dual mechanical drum brake coupled with electronic braking! The best of the best!
W for the quadlock integration.
We need a hazard light, so when you push the left and right turn signals together, it goes into hazard light mode
Hi Anthony,
Prior to the video, our engineers had taken apart the rear suspension and it was not re-adjusted before filming- this is why it looks more rigid.
Can those shocks could added to the phantom? Would be awesome to retro fit the phantoms with those industry standards shocks.
Suspension setup on the Phantom is totally different, with quad springs it would be too stiff with added hydro dampers
We cannot
I would like when it folds to latch somehow so that when you put it in your car, it’s not swinging around or hard to maneuver for portability
It does. The new display allows you to see every functions of the scooter!
Is the rear suspension adjustable as well?
Nope, it is atrocious.
@@ledzepandhabs
Yeah, I have real concerns about the rear suspension, or lack thereof, I guess there is just a rubber damper in there to absorb shock and then the front is standing very high and you can see it bouncing after being compressed, it has adjustable damping so it should be okay once properly adjusted. It does have a lot of cool lights but imo something has to be done about the rear suspension.
@@retrothruster2539 watch when he bounces on it, there is no rear travel at all, and he's light. Your flagship scooter should have long travel dampened suspension. Everyone seems concerned with the light changing colors......wtf.

After watching the ESG review video; my only concern is the PRO’s ability to accelerate uphill. At least in comparison to the much heavier GT2. I don’t consider top speed to be an issue. Hopefully Eloí will be able to juice up the Mach 2 controller for more torque.
Hi Drgb,
Thanks for your feedback.
Wow i want to order one. Link please 😍🤩

You beta add me to your early birds list! I am reserved and ready to put this thing to the test.
Please make something like the BioHybrid or Iris E-trike. A scooter is way too limited by weather and temperature.

I had a phantom in the cart, was about to hit the buy button when I realized the Phantom isn't the Pro.
I want the wrap around lights and the speaker plus the turn signals on the handlebars.
I can't wait to eventually try the Pro, in the meantime I will use my Emove Cruiser S. This Pro model looks fantastic tho
I know right! I was thinking the same about 8 months ago. But now apollo is giving us features we never knew we needed! Lol
