So good to see a company with real attention to detail. When I buy my Apollo I want to know it's well engineered. That's what keeps me safe. You guys obviously put in the attention to detail I can trust. Canada🇨🇦👍
You may want to reconsider Apollo as the battery will die shortly after one year of use and they’ll want you to spend an additional $700 for a replacement
Truly impressed! I love how meticulous you are at getting all the fine details correct. The pride you have in what you're doing, shines through all of the efforts you take to bring your visions to the final product. Please send an Apollo Pro my way for further testing. I'll show how even an older demographic of buyers, can still feel young again on a world-class scooter!!

Agreed and in better detail with explanations. These guys are setting the standards! Hopefully no other manufacturer or OEM tries to copy their patented designs! It would be difficult though i'm sure.

as a person who worked in a factory, the not so good part for me is being assigned at die-casting area (hot and dusty) then next is at the painting area specially like the one shown in the video at 2:35. that respirator don't really block all the particles.. salute to the people who worked really hard to make this magnificent machine.
Considering the conditions, what are you willing to do or sacrifice to help these people? I think many people in this chat just comment without action. Apollo is thinking about sales and not the working conditions of the individuals in the factories.
Hi @theyeetbear, Thanks for your comment. This is just a typo, but please be assured that all Apollo Pro 2023s will come with the MACH 2 controller. The built-in GPS is only compatible with the MACH 2, so all units will have this version :)
Beautiful scooter. Can't wait until its available in the UK. I'm supposed to be buying a Solar FF 2.0 but I might just wait and buy 1 of these instead now. Very impressive 🙏🏼😁👍🏼

inferior technology for scooters. It just takes guts to make the gamble and explain to customers why drums are better with regen. The amount of warping/rubbing the whole scooter market has of disc/tiny pads is astounding. Everyone is still using 140mm rotors that aren't thick enough and crappy compound brake pads.
I’ve heard this described as a unibody frame but it seems that’s not the case. The neck is machined from a block, the main body is stamped and machined, then the two are welded together. I wonder why not make a real unibody frame from a single injection casting? Is a machine that size too costly, or perhaps concerns about hidden defects if not x-rayed?
I liked the Video so I bought Apollo Pro. However, the scooter I got had multiple manufacturing defects: scratches, paint defects everywhere and chipped aluminum
8:11. If you ever wonder where any chips in the paint around the headset and the down tube opening come from...please refer to this part of the assembly. Allowing the the two pieces to slam against each other like this, is bound to create some marring/chipping around the circumference of the openings. Slamming nicely painted parts together, just isn't necessary. Especially on a high-end scooter like the Apollo Pro.
Hi @gamestv-rf6dg, We are discontinuing the Ghost as we move on to our next generation of scooters: The Apollo Pro 2023, Explore 2024, and the Apollo Light 2024. These models are all designed in-house, and we have greater control over upgrades, improvements, and QC at our own factory :)
At 5:08.. If you're going to say something is very important, you should make sure the video shows it being done properly, at least. That heat shrink tube isn't protecting that connector from water at all, lol. It may be helping the connector to stay together, but that's it. I wonder how many were done like that.. 🤔
You may want to reconsider purchasing an Apollo scooter as the battery will die shortly after one year of use and they’ll want you to spend an additional $700 for a replacement after having spent $2k for the scooter.
Understandable. But I think he’s making a personal choice not to wear protection. I’m sure the employer ensures that each employee uses appropriate eye or face protection.

I've owned an emove cruiser. That is a great scooter but nowhere near the level of this. I sold my cruiser 6 months after buying it because it just wasnt fun to ride. It was so slow and the suspension sucked. All that scooter has going for it is the range.
Battery needs an upgrade. Generic aliexpress blue shrink wrap is not acceptable at this price. The battery ITSELF needs to be in a custom IP rated enclosure.
Hi @cleanupman22, Thanks for your feedback. The Apollo Pro will come with a 52V 30aH battery with Samsung cells :) As for the IP rating, the Apollo Pro will have an IP rating of IP66. What we've found is that when water does get into the scooter, it's usually the connectors that get damaged, not the battery. This is why we've worked hard to make sure that the body itself is IP66 rated :)
Yes potentially hopefully over the next 3-6 months the apollo team become more efficient in making the scooter. Wonderful manufacturing as is though on this bare frame.

Batteries do drain over time, but not after one year. But yes, like a car, they do require maintenance if they are to be used extensively over a long period of time.
@@ApolloScooters Yes you are correct that batteries should keep well within one year but mine failed after 14 months. It’s sort of bullshit to have a $2000 scooter parked in my garage that I can no longer ride unless I pay you $700 for a replacement battery every 14 months.I’ve owned cheaper scooters that crapped out after years of heavy use. I expected more from Apollo

Hi @elliot6202, Thanks for your question. The Apollo Pro is our most tested scooter ever and we're making sure that the QC is top-notch. In fact, our CEO Mac and CTO Eloi went to our factory to personally oversee the production of the Apollo Pro Early Access units :) Along with continually coordinating with production and QC managers, we are confident that the QC will exceed expectations!
