Loving what I am seeing. Apollo has come a long way and I am sure the passion of the leaders is a huge part of that. Thanks for the all QA testing
Thanks for the kind words, Adrian!
Marvellous Eloi!
Thanks Eloi! There are some interesting looking scooters in the background at the end of the video. Easter egg for an un-released scooter maybe?
Cette vidéo est VRAIMENT cool.
That is how you back your products…..Quality Control! Good job👍🏼
Thank you!
the all 🙃🙂 team is doing a great job
It's aluminum. At a severe angle of leverage. You put a big enough person on it and they put enough weight on the bars or hard enough impact and it's gonna crack. Just like the rest. Use treated steel and/or better geometry. Aluminum just can't handle stress like that.
Thanks for your comment! Our scooters are tested up to 3x the industry standard to ensure that they are safe. Additionally, we also include a max rider weight for each model.
@@ApolloScooters And yet they still manage to crack...
They test cars in labs and on tracks for a reason and scooters should be the same. Lab testing can not replicate all real world scenarios i.e. when jumping of a kerb, the stresses rarely are distributed evenly between front and rear axle due to the impact angle, which then places extreme pressure on the stem. These tests simulate sensible riding.
Awesome a new video!
What’s the diameter of the handlebars? Are they compatible with universal bike accessories?
3:20 New city battery? Apollo City 2023 confirmed?
You ARE awesome! Latter, It will be great if you make an Apollo E-bike
Yes, that would be cool :)
Tubeless, self-healing E-bike tires would be perfect and Apollo should be making exclusively that!
This scooter looks amazing! Will the weight limit for the rider be 250 lbs, and how heavy will the scooter be? I would like to buy one to commute to work when it is released, but I am not sure if it will be too heavy for me to carry up about 10 steps.
Hi Dee,
Thanks for your feedback! The Apollo Pro 2023 will have a max rider weight of of 330 lbs and the unit itself will weight around 95 lbs.
@ApolloScooters thank you for confirming that. I can't wait until it becomes available in my country 😀
Will the scooters with IP66 rating or higher ever be covered under warranty for water damage?
I've noticed a lot of companies advertise their products as water resistant or water proof but they don't cover water damage in the warranty.
Is there a reason for this and do you guys have any plans to address it?
It only seems appropriate for a product advertised as water proof to be covered by warranty for water damage.
Hi Oven Heating,
Thanks for your question!
While we strive to provide the best possible water resistance rating that we can, electronic devices are never covered for water damage under their respective warranties. The reason for this is that water damage is usually classified as physical damage, not a manufacturing defect. An electric scooter can be classified as both a vehicle and an electronic device, so the warranty coverage it would receive is in line with other electronic devices. Additionally, no electric scooter manufacturer covers water damage as part of their standard warranty.
An example of this are flagship smartphones (iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, etc.) which are even rated IP68 but are not covered for water damage. Another example are GoPro cameras which are frequently used underwater but are not covered for water damage under the warranty as well.
However, we are glad to announce that US customers can now opt in for an extended warranty which covers flat tires, water damage, and accidental damage. If you'd like to learn more about this expanded coverage, please go to: apollo-help-center.gorgias.help/en-US/what-does-extend-extended-warranty-cover-230320
We hope this clears things up and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions :)
The bell on my new City broke after 3 weeks of Ownership, and it's not covered under warranty. I am disappointed.
Hi there,
We're sorry to hear about your issue and we're here to help. Please contact our support team at support@apolloscooters.co and one of our agents will be glad to help :)
@@ApolloScooters I did, and they told Me that they couldn't help because I wasn't in USA or Canada.
@@s0m3cunt91 Lucky you it was just the bell. My City Pro died after 1 week. Charger pushed insane voltages. Bought it from a shop but same as you, we live in a different country. Waited 5 weeks and then the small shop was ashamed so i got my money back. But still.
The price is way too expensive. You can get a nice scooter for $2500 CAD from the US faster & performance ride if Apollo Pro don’t adjust da price right it’s gonna be a BIG FAIL
Is that all you are looking for? Just faster?
Apollo?? Quality Control?? yeah right lol
Don’t bash a product unless you have significant data to show!
