- After having seen so many people ride around on electric scooters, it was finally time for me to try one for myself. Did I crash and fall on my face? Watch to find out.
Let me know what you think of the new intro style without the usual title clip. Also, I didn't film an actual outro for this video, but as always, thank you for watching.

I'm about to get one and admit to being a little nervous, so this video was very helpful for me. Thank You!
Glad you found the video helpful!
Before jumping on a scooter helmet up at least. Even a fall at 20km/hr could rip your face up and break bones. Take an hour or more and get familiar with safety by watching videos and asking questions. A lot of people are getting seriously hurt and killed because they have a "Oh, it's just a scooter." attitude. I don't want people to get hurt, I want them to fall in love with their scooter and the scooter world. To add, feet side by side stance is not a safe way to ride. It shouldn't be considered a preference. It gives you less stability and a higher chance of going over the handlebars during a sudden stop. Happy scootering!
If you didn’t know. You have to walk for a few seconds then push down the speed lever and put up the pushing foot and boom! Also when you pull the breaks with in range of 30/40 miles per hour it can be rapid and nearly throw you off.
Now I know!
@@StephenLu this can go only like 15miles per hour...
@@vagg-kouk2183 yup, you're right about that
😂 I found that out last night on my maiden voyage 🤦🏻♀️ the brakes can be a little vicious 😆 whoops
This is only true for low power machines
Stupid question here. How do you turn corners correctly on these? turn the handle bars or lean into the turn like on a motorcycle? I'm old and don't want to fall due to incorrect turning procedures.
You streer you're body to the way you want to turn and also move the handle bars at the same time
@@leathalizer121 Thank you
You should lean you body into the turn while only slightly turning the actual handlebars. If you turn the bars too much then you’ll fall over.
Former biker here. Yes, lean into your turns in a similar manner.
Do I have to press the accelerator all the way from the start, or is it little by little? Please help 😅
Depends how fast you want to go - the more you press, the faster you go!
@@StephenLu thank you! 🫶🏼 😁
how do you guys make it so easy?? i have no balance i keep wobbling :(
Saaaaame
Easy cleanup , came as described fast. Great product
Thanks, I plan on having my first ride today and have never ridden one of these. This is helpful.
Yeah you got kick start it while holding button down
is this vancouver?
Even though this is two years old, I still enjoyed watching you guys figure out and experience your first feeling of zooming around on electric power power... Lol.
Glad you enjoyed!
😅
Had to laugh at that. I got my first escooter a couple of days ago... and it's waaaay more powerful than that toy you tried. I have to admit that I was brown panting when I first got on, but it didn't take long to get accustomed. I'm old (68),and have to say that my first ride (25km) was waaay more fun than someone my age should be entitled to. As I said, it's powerful, with a top speed of 45kph and a range of 45 Km... And I feel like I've been set free 😁
I gait mine to
It’s sooo fast
I’ve got a normal kick scooter and love going downhill with it, honestly if there was a way to change one of its wheels and make it electric I would but until then I’ll just settle for pushing it up hills and riding down them
It’s more then just a wheel, you need: throttle, motor, rechargeable battery, and a few more
You can buy e-scooters meant for children for around 300$ (and by children I mean 8-14 yr olds
@@Boon_LightBurn I’m too tall I’d end up f*cking up my back 😂
@@LinkTheFusky there are hybrids that can adjust to kid and adult sizes, it’s worth looking for because using a motor down that hill would be true speed
They look like fun I see them all over the place here in Miami think I'll rent one and see how it goes😃
I hope you enjoy it!
@@StephenLu thanks I think will
Where's the go button?
there's a switch you press down on the handle to make it go!
@@StephenLu thank you
Ist difficult than a bicycle we have in house 50kph & 110+ kph
It was fun
What cool guy, I wanna be u when I grow up
