I just heard of the news. Jesus Christ, it's just not fair. This was the first video I saw with Patrick in it since I was newer to the channel, and he was always a great voice to listen to alongside James. He and Chris have been so important to this channel, and they will both be deeply missed by us all.

I mostly ever played as ghost Anakin (PC, Xbox version’s hit detection was glitched)/Ghost Obi-Wan (Xbox), 4 LOM, and Lando.
I did play it and as fun as he was, he did not really help me get any minikits. Just like someone said, the ghosts and bounty bunters are my go to free play characters
It's just some box robot that can't do anything but walk how can we not love him

Upon hearing the news about James, Patrick, and Chris this was the first video that came to my mind and I really hope that James can make a full recovery and that all the families get all the support they can, this was horribly unfair to the three and hope everything will end up being as okay as they can for the horrible circumstances.

Such a brilliant concept, executed so good, I played this with my little brothers, this was the first game they played and they never saw Star Wars yet at the time so it was a good way to show them the story
Okay, from what I could find, Padmé’s death sound is a high pitched version of the scream she makes when she gets clawed (game’s wording, not mine) during the battle in the Geonosian arena. What’s weird is that it WAS in the correct pitch in LEGO Star Wars 1, so it’s incredibly baffling how it was inexplicably pitched up for the complete saga release.

My favourite bit in these Lego games is that if you play the Death Star level in Free Play, you can actually take the route Obi-Wan takes in the story mode which ends with you fighting Vader in the Death Star hallway.
Also, since in the story mode he’s already fighting Obi-Wan when you enter the room, he’s casually looking at his watch and tapping his feet when you enter in Free Play since Obi-Wan’s not there.
Edit: if any of you try to do this, I recommend using a jet pack character to get over the ledge. Even with Jedi jump it’s pretty difficult to cross.
Also, Vader isn’t a secret boss or anything. The fight’s pretty tame. You know when you get bored and start lightsaber fighting with your cousin in the cantina? Yeah, it’s basically that.

My brother is Deaf and wasn’t that into Star Wars due to accessibility at the time since VHS tapes were still the norm for us and brand new DVDs didn’t have proper subtitle options yet so when they Lego Star Wars games came out, that was how he got into it and since it was entirely visual humour and references without dialogue, that was a much more accessible way into becoming a fan

I remember how the multipliers all stacked, so once you had them all, you could get true jedi almost instantly. It's every stud you get times (10!)!
The multipliers stacked too. So if you had them ALL on, youd get like x3840
Also, one of the extras allowed you to auto collect studs. so you had to do nothing
Not 10 factorial, that's 1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8x9x10. In LEGO games the max multiplier is 2x4x6x8x10=3840 (as Number1Irishlad mentioned). Apologies if that's not what you meant.

Just heard the news of what happened to Schaff and Pappy. I hope and pray that Schaff will make a full recovery and that Patrick will rest in peace. The videos with Patrick were some of my favorites from this channel, especially the lego star wars ones. It's sad to see Patrick go, especially way too soon, but I pray that he is at peace, and that Schaff will make a full recovery. We'll never forget you Pappy G.

I played the DS version of this game as a kid, and seeing all the stuff the Wii version has that the DS doesn’t feels like I just learned that my childhood has DLC. That’s amazing.
Personally I had the opposite experience. I grew up with this game on Wii/PS3 (my Wii disc got scratched and I got a replacement but on PS3) and playing the DS version was like playing a bizzaro version of one of my favorite games
(And that's not a bad thing :D)
DS enjoyer here too. I would always look up certain secrets and wonder why I couldn’t access them on my version. I would looove playing that one Grievous Run minigame.

I don’t know that I’ve said much or commented before, but your channel has genuinely shifted my perspective on the animation industry and certain gaming spheres. Yo same! This game was actually my introduction to the Star Wars universe. I played the Lego Star Wars I demo disc on my PS2 and went to pick up the full game afterwards as a wee 10 year old.

I truly never didn’t finish the game, as it was at my daycare, and it was reset every time, so we couldn’t go far.
My personal perfect lego game was Harry Potter. The story was accurate, it added what the movie didn’t show, and Hogwarts it amazing to explore.

The thing I noticed as an adult when playing this game is what makes it so fun is that; everyone has memories of when they would see a movie as a kid and you and your friend or sibling would go play and just reenact the movie. Either outside running around or inside with toys.
And this is a video game that took Legos, that a lot of kids played with and turned what felt like playing in a bedroom with toys and reenacting the movies into a video game where you were actually able to reenact the movies... with Legos. It went full meta for it to combine that toy like feel and imagination into a video game with scenes and characters of the movie and whatnot.
You have no idea how relieved I am to hear I wasn’t the only kid who was stuck on the first level of return of the jedi for that exact reason.
I was stuck on that level with my sister not because of that I think but because of that stupid puzzle you had to do

I remember that on the second level of return of the jedi, me and my sister actually called our older cousin who used to have the game to help us beat it. After like a month we got it, but one of my friends accidentally erased all of the game's progress a week later.

This is the only time I'll ever give a like to anything with Akechi's face on it.

... Strangely enough, while he didn't have a lightsaber, there was a droid in legends named C3PX that was Maul's personal protocol and assassin droid. Also think he used a rocket launcher once.

Huh, I did something similar, mixing C-3P0 and 4-LOM bits with a cape and red lightsaber, pretending that it was all armor over an organic Sith Lord. The other one I had was a Clone with a purple saber, with his story being he discovered he was Force Sensitive during a battle and took up the saber of his fallen general.
Rest in peace Patrick. You were loved by so many people. You made people laugh. You were a lovable human being and all of us are better off for having known you.

@@SolProxy I don't think I can explain it very well, but from how many Personas I've looked at, and having to hear that whenever I even suggest fusing one that isn't very high level because I need a certain skill, it kinda got stuck in my brain. So I hear that and immediately think "Shut up you dumb magical child, I'm trying to get a Bufu skill here." And that negativity carries over.

I do agree about the personas though, feels like if you fuse a lvl 90 persona and you're 91 it's immediatly shit in their opinion.
This game is indeed a masterpiece, but there is but one problem:
You will never _once_ randomly find a Droideka in the Cantina, in any room. The only way one will ever appear there is if you ended the last level you played as one.
also grunting will probably show up in the skywalker saga as a menu option so that's great

I played it with my brother without ever watching the movies. It has this distinct nostalgic feel to it, that reminds me of always being downgraded to R2D2 because my older brother didn't trust me with anything else. I felt like a glorified intern the whole time.

@@superiorratolive8528 it is different, because in the obi wan wins version, the cutscene goes directly into obi wan cutting off anikin's legs. In the Anakin wins scene obiwan is knocked down, stands up, force pulls his saber then Anakin attacks and obi wan cuts off his legs
This is actually used quite a bit in LEGO games. In the old Indiana Jones one, failing the Boulder section in the first cave 3 times in a row plays a cutscene of Indiana stuck to it as it rolls and then popping off when it makes it to the end.
This game, Lego Indiana Jones 1, and Lego Batman 1 are unironically some of the greatest video games I have ever played in my life.

The original isn't free anymore, but Angry Birds Star Wars 2 is one of my favorite mobile games ever. the way you can play as heroes and villains i great, and the final level in each section always has some kind of twist. I love it.
When I first found that Lego Star Wars featured Indiana Jones and Lego Indiana Jones featured star wars characters, it absolutely blew my mind.

I once had a Mandela effect, where Luke cuts C3PO’s arm off with his lightsaber instead. I once got it confused to seeing it in the original movie as a deleted cutscene.

Unrelated to anything but it’s honestly so awesome how the Wii opened up gaming to so many people who had parents who saw it all as being terrible beforehand. It’s not looked on in the best light now but I’d argue it’s one of the most influential consoles ever on that merit alone.

When I was a kid playing Lego Star Wars with my younger brother, I would lead us over past the Gonk droid, and, while walking by, press the “Y” button on his controller turning him into the famed slow walker. This was followed by force pushing him into a wall so he couldn’t swap to any other character, I would repeat this process a couple times and then run into a level of my choosing 😂

Story time: one of the reasons why I never hated the prequels was because of this game. The prequel levels were awesome, and Qui-Gon Jinn was the first video game character I ever played as.
When I was a really little kid, my mom and I played the prequel adaptation of this game on the computer (Lego Star Wars: The Video Game). We got stuck on the Mos Espa Podrace level, and it took us weeks to complete it. One day, we were the closest we've ever gotten, and in walks my dad with McDonald's for dinner. He tells us to get ready for dinner, and my mom yells back (while my younger brother is laughing his head off), "HOLD ON! WE'RE ABOUT TO BEAT THE PODRACE!". And we did that night! Now I'm nineteen, and my brother is fifteen, and we still play The Complete Saga on our old Wii U whenever we feel bored or need a pick-me-up. So hats off to you, Lego Star Wars. Long may you live.
PS: I got stuck on the flying levels all the time as well, and the Jabba's Palace level as well. The only difference was that in my experience, I got stuck on the part where you had to free Threepio and Artoo. My friend told me you needed to use the Jedi double-jump Lightsaber thrust thing to get into their cages, or, what me and my third-grade friends called the "Mad Jedi Jump". I still use that term!

I'm currently working on Lootbox Nothing 2, a separate sequel to this map and it should be up sometime in February.
Here's what you can expect from Lootbox Nothing 2
1. There's 7 Players with 8th one being AI (+1 player basically) while this doesn't work well for team games, works well for diplo.
2. The map is no longer a ring shape. The reason there's water in the middle is to eliminate pavilions to reduce lag. This map is going to be an island in the middle, but it won't be small by any means. You'll only be losing a little bit of land at the edges. This will allow for more open field travel and choice of who you want to attack. This map has around 200 less pavilions than the first one, further reducing lag.
3. You start with a flamethrower instead of a tarkan, which does 3x the damage of a tarkan. This should make starting out less boring or slow. The map having 1 more player and more free roam choice means players will be able to reach each other faster, so matches should be a fair shorter as well. This does not mean games will be short. It will just be normal length. Remember there's resources to collect when pavilions break.
4. The trees will be bushes and the terrain will be desert to make it more visible, because the bamboo in the first one seemed to blend into the terrain.
5. Granaries will be replaced by a building that can be auto attacked
